    Meditations- Gen.2.3 "Sanctification"

"And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

In v..2 We have the definition of the work as the Spirit intented, and it our instruction in righteousness. The single line He gives from the two POV. In active voice,'God ended his work and from that of the Son, 'From all his work which he had made' he rested. My Father worketh hitherto, and I work' is what everlasting Covenant in Ch.1 indicated. Their perfect amity in purpose and work the Covenand sets up the scaffolding on which every visible or invisible thing must rest. This explains where sanctification creates a world framed by the word. Those who do not are children of disobedience.. They chose not to obey the call. " But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:"(1 Cor.1.30)

The Law is indicated by the whole number Seven. God decreed the day for His son. (Ps.2.6) Those who are chosen are thus begotten of the Word. " Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever."(1 Pet.1.23)

Rest of God for which we are called knows only work that is done from within the Father-Son fellowship.
