    Gen.8.4 "Rest of God"

" And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat."

We have the wandering of the Israelites through the wilderness which explains we are sojourners and pilgrims on earth while we have a similar movement in the World of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit exhorts us to abide in Christ who lives in us by faith. So as St Paul says,"For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life."(2 Cor.5.4). In our vile bodies how do we walk? Like the Israelites, the fleshpots of Egypt possessing every waking hour, "We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:/But now our soul is dried away" How do you think these false shepherds of our times keep their souls with all their a-lusting over activism and prosperity?

We ought to walk by faith and not by sight. We see it already those who rooted for their great White Hope in red MAGA caps is proving to be, not even a red rooster but a wet hen, the TACO king in diapers. Satan deceives believers whose heart is not steadfast, and the nation hasn't seen as yet what God has set up. We are not to perish with them. "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."( 1 Cor 2.9)
