Rev.11.13 "Brand plucked out of fire" (2of 2)

The angels 4 in number holding up four winds in (Rev.7.1) require to be subsumed into the entire narrative. Instead of the Lamb slain in Rev.5.6 we are presented with another image 'of the brand plucked out of fire. "And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of theLord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him./And theLordsaid unto Satan, TheLordrebuke thee, O Satan; even theLordthat hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.(Zec.3.1-4)

God set apart 144,000 as sanctified ones and the writer to the Hebrews refers to them as heirs of salvation. "And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:/ They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;/ And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail./ But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"(Heb.1.10-14) In a few posts we shall examine the role of Jesus Christ who is presented to the nation of Israel and the left-behind church as Joshua, the high priest. So we have the saying of Jesus,

"As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep/ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd./Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again."(Jn.10.15-17) These 144,000 shall form the new earth.
