    Just One Point: Outer darkness

"And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; "(Ezek.37.25) Before we consider the land God promised Jacob as heir of promise let us consider the significance of three pillars he erected in the land,'that I have given unto Jacob, my servant' and it is different from the land ear-maked for the heir of promise. For Jacob it validated that he was Israel who prevailed and won with God and men. As Jacob the heel catcher it is what Jesus referred as the outer darkness.

Here we begin of three pillars, with one of commitment" "And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee."(Gen.28.22,14.20) He promises as man in his flesh. Abraham paid tithes',-' And he gave him tithes of all.' As tradition of his fathers he sets it as tenth. Ten is a number of condemnation for the law of sin and death.

second pillar is of separation.'Be ye separate' from the ungodly world. "Behold this heap, and behold this pillar, which I have cast betwixt me and thee: This heap be witness, and this pillar be witness.'(Gen.31.50-52)

Third pillar he erected as Israel, to commemorate Christ as the foundation on which Bethel shall be called El-bethel. "And Jacob set up a pillar in the place where he talked with him, even a pillar of stone: and he poured a drink offering thereon, and he poured oil thereon. God promised him kings, "and kings shall come out of thy loins." Here we have the true significance of Israel and as the four and twenty elders testified,'And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth."(Rev.5.10;1.5-6)

"And my servant David shall be their prince for ever."(Ezek.37.24) So what does it signify .,He is deputed over 'the land that I have given Jacob, my servant." 'Forever' is a tag for Jesus Christ. Outer darkness is the land referred here.
