    Pt. 3

    JESUS IS ALL IN ALL

The pre-eminence of Jesus over all of creation with Him being all in all ( 1Cor 15:28) and His reconciling all things to God does not mean that all humans and angels will be redeemed. Rather it means that all things will come under the rule, dominion, and authority of Jesus until all that opposes and is at enmity to God will be conquered by Jesus, even death. Then will Jesus give the kingdom up to His Father, having accomplished the eternal purpose of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit from eternity past.

Those who remain unbelievers and all evil spiritual beings will be condemned by Jesus and thrown into the Lake of Fire to be subjected to God's wrath forever, never more to pollute with sin and corruption that which Jesus reconciled.

But to us, who are saved by Jesus, and the elect holy angels, we will be "summed" up in Jesus in that we will forever dwell in His completely restored heaven and earth and He will dwell with us and in us, which is the fullness of His kingdom where His glory fills all of creation. God is truly over all in sovereignty. When history is summed up with the return of Jesus and He conquers all enemies and He has gathered to Himself a people for His glory, then will God's glory permeate all of creation.

    See Pt. 4

Have to be out for a while. will get back later.
