Lasting strength: The eternal Spirit of God

We are all travelers in this world and of course He is the one in the driver's seat or the captain of our souls ( Heb. 2:10). Our parents seem to have us as their possession and rightly so but of course all souls belong to God ( Ezekiel 18:4). This mindset of course has to encompass all things whether physical; material; mental or emotional as ALL things were created by Him for His good pleasure ( Rev. 4:11 apparently I overlooked that verse earlier). It only makes sense that He brings all His creatures that are blood bought and adopted into His family back to Him at some point.

With all my talks earlier regarding humanism; it is hard to avoid seeing the many aspects of stability our society had in the past gone largely to the wayside. Gone are the days when someone smoking a cigarette or having a fist fight was the worst bully we have to worry about in high school. Gone are any real values at all; even those things which people had such passion about in the past that were rebellious still had some genuine emotion; today it is hard to find much genuine at all. People a generation ago would laugh at those so obsessed with a bad meme or comment about someone so that we can't laugh at ourselves if anything. With everyone so hypersensitive someone's rights are always violated and we have to step on eggshells to avoid a conflict.

It is almost hard to believe restraint to some extent is still being given; and this no doubt is largely due to many lukewarm believers not being the salt and light so that the world has putrefied prematurely. Persecution will have to accompany any real revival should it break out before He comes for His church and that means people have to be willing to count the cost first in their personal lives. You don't need to tell anyone if someone is sold out for the Lord it is evident; you either see love or hatred come their way.

Proverbs 18:24 talks about God closer than a brother.
