In Gen.1 we have the Covenant as set up by the Law. The analogy of the toss of a coin can have only one result. Whether head or tail it is the same. "I and my Father are one when comes to rest ii is the God's rest. The same in the ch.2 we are looking from the POV of man created in our image and after our likeness. Male and female created he them. This explains a few things: In making Adam a living soul the same breath of life made the woman a living soul. This is how we consider the heir of promise in the generation of Jesus Christ. Their inheritance is in the kingdom of light. Second point is that the deep sleep of Adam refers to the death of his Son. Just as the face of the deep the same spiritual meaning in the case of Adam. The Spirit calls his sleep after our likeness, so same emblem of the slain Lamb applies to cover his shame. God made them coats of skins makes the connection obvious.(Gen.3.21). God set a commandment for Adam and he failed. Without faith man cannot please God. God sets one full turn as with the word circular. In the case of Abraham God calls him out of his father's house. His faith is implied there. "By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went."(Heb.11.8) The Holy Spirit explains the significance of his going south." And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning."(13.3) Notice the expression,'at the beginning' The point to remember is that Abrahan made one full turn walking through the length and bradth of the land believing in the promise of God. The Word was God. Abraham by faith was with God. By coming back where he began he made manifest the Word which was the Law." By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:/For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God
