Imagine for a moment that someone was going to give our current President or members of the administration a true presentation of the Gospel. I'm not by any means with a comprehensive knowledge of the whole history in regard to those who may have attempted to do so; but when you see the gathering of his "spiritual advisors" I don't see anyone who has challenged his statements in the past about not needing forgiveness; or perhaps of late in regard to his self-admittance of hating his enemies and challenging that God indeed can change a human heart through the Spirit and rebirth to do just that. Instead; of course he is told what he wants to hear.

The reality of the matter is that many of the false religious system today and their "proclamations" can be easily tracked by following the money trail. Everyone is; well to put it nicely holding onto the coattails of others who are also involved in the corporate structure which many of these so called ministries in reality are.

Of course the meat of a mature walk with God is experience rightly dividing the Word ( 2 Tim. 2:15) which of course comes from meditating on the Word. This is more than just finding a few verses to cherry pick to promote an agenda of some sort. It is amazing taking the Word of God literally in past events as well as future prophecies seems like the logical approach; but we often see anything but. Promises for Israel as a nation; some of which may or may not be applicable in future events along with the past are appropriated to describe some blessing of the church. We hear a lot about manifesting certain things but how many are giving any hint as to how to discern between God and the Devil as to what is being experienced? The fear of the Lord is one thing but the mad gyrations of at least one of the female voices in the NAR today; well it seems to be like the old saying if it walks like a duck and sounds like one it probably is. God is not the author of confusion.

    Hello Richard,

I think that the gospel was presented at Charlie Kirk's memorial and therefore, our President heard it several times over from a number of those who spoke. We cannot know all of what President Trump has heard or what people have said to him about his need for salvation in Christ. We do not know how the Holy Spirit is working in him, either. So, we can truly be committed to praying for him often. What we hear or read in the media of his comments on spiritual matters is not all that there is to this in his personal life. We can hope that he will be regenerated and saved by coming to faith in our Lord.

Praying for our leaders in government is Scriptural as it says in 1 Tim. 2:1-2 exhorts us to do. So, it is good for us to pray for President Trump and not sit in judgment of him as to the condition of his heart. We can look at the fruit in anyone's life and know some of what their spiritual life is like, but only God not only knows the heart of everyone, but He also knows what He has decreed for each person as to how He will work in the lives of the elect to bring them to salvation. We do not know if others are elect though unless they come to profess a life alive in Christ. Most people we will never know well enough to see if their walk matches their profession, so we can leave off judging and instead hope that God will bring others to salvation in His timing and way.

Please know that I am not making excuses for Mr. Trump. He, like so many who have lived for themselves most of their lives may not have conviction of their sinfulness because they do not know the holiness of God to compare themselves to. But to each person death comes. And should someone have time before death takes them they may at that time turn to God for help. We can be happy that this does happen even though we would have wished for them to have turned to God years before.

I pray for God to send into Trump's circle professing Christians that will truly minister to him rightly.
