And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
"And out of the ground" Here we have a clue why God sanctified the dry ground and called it Earth. It is given to his Son "whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" The Word of God is circular so the Will of God when fulfilled is the Law of the Spirit. Unity of the Spirit demonstrates what the complete perfect Will of the Father would signify. Classic example is in th Lamb slain emblem. It has a life of its own as the Lamb of God. coinciding with the Advent of the Word become flesh. In his glory the same is the light of the Lamb, and the throne of God and of the Lamb.It is thus Christ Jesus as the fulfilment of the Law is the maker of the worlds. The writer to the Hebrews refers to this Word transference "the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,"
The Word transference makes the Son also as the Creator. On this basis the Son of man could rightly claim , "I and my Father are one,' Word went forth from God and it as clear as the Son who is the heir who authorised it. " Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."( John 5.19)
By Word transference Adam is the double for the Son and whatever name he called 'was the name thereof.'.And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field;"
v.20 "But for Adam there was not found an help meet for him." Adam is working along with God as the Son would. Word transference gives him an appreciation for his higher calling.
