The sign Immanuel refers to the world where God among us before sending his sheep has to warn them of the world where the prince of this world has let nations make their own rules. v.15 " And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." This enmity is what Ge.1.2 refers. Generation of Jesus Christ on which the Spirit of God canwork with while darkness covers the seed of the serpent.
