Nod is a name given by the Law of the Spirit so one may certain it was Darkness and at the far end darkness that dwelt there is called outer darkness. In the parables of Jesus we have the far country. "There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country." Hedging the vineyard is in the same sense as God secured the world of Job. Faith with which God framed the worlds by his word is same as the tares denote another world altogether.
There are two mountains to denote the Father Son relationship. Mount Zion sets the north while Eden is set on mount Sion. The sanctified ones, every 144,000 bear the name of their Father and the Covenant of seven days refer to the blessed and the rest of God. The garden is set on the east and man and woman are sent out to till the ground, from whence they are taken; now Eden is once again referred to the direction farther than his parents ever went. The land of Nod where vagabonds away from the presence of God shall settle down. In our times digital nomads have come of age. So is the dark web. Who are they. sons of perdition of course. So Satan creates a cover for them. New normal is one such. There is no room for the word in their hearts. "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil./Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." Either or. Whole or nothing.
