( Ps. 139:15) The term "wrought" translates from the Hebrew verb root "raqam" (English transliteration; pronounced "raw-KAM") which speaks of the activity of producing needlework, embroidery, and weaving. The same Hebrew verb also translates into "needlework" (six times), and into "embroiderer" (twice) in the Book of Exodus in references concerning the Tabernacle construction.

This is exactly what The LORD does when HE skillfully inter-weaves the human body during its development. The LORD interweaves every individual cell to make the necessary tissues, organs, and systems. HE weaves ligaments to connect bones to bones. HE weaves tendons to connect muscles to bones. HE weaves the alimentary canal throughout the torso. HE weaves nerves, arteries, and veins throughout every type of tissue. HE weaves every organ in its proper place to perform its proper function. HE weaves, blood, lymph, hormones, enzymes, chemicals, and all necessary nutrients to give the body life. Finally, HE encases all of this "needlework" inside the "embroidery" of the skin to form the physical human body.

The physical human body is a DIVINELY woven tapestry literally brought to life and animation when GOD breathes "into his nostrils the Breath of Life" ( Gen. 2:7).

In contrast, Job realized his own physical fragility subject to GOD's full and total authority and control ( Job 10:8-13).

The qualifying adjective "curiously" speaks of GOD's Creative Skill and Expertise in administering this physical "tapestry".
