The same family of Noah and His creation saved from the great flood in under new circumstances as a world framed by the word of God.Theyare a world within another world condemned where the Law of sin and death operates.
v.20 "And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar." This serves as dedication ceremony where entering into the rest of God is continued so the Law of the Spirit operates while the world without is under the law of sin. 'Of every clean beast fowl on the altar is to signal the Covenant and God blesses Noah as He did with the first Adamm. " And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth."(Gen.9.1)
"and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake." The ground referred is the hallowed ground in the same sense os the voice out of the burning bush tole Moses. ("put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground"- Exod.3.5) The earth abides forever because it is given to the Son."
Earth as the hallowed ground give rise to the jubilee year to which we shall come anon, if God willing. However the Spirit primes us what heart of God would mean.Fifty years refer to Noah set forth as the double for his Son. "And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years./And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years."(9.21-21) Notice his life is split before the flood and after even as waters above from waters below is separated by the firmament.
