Brian, apparently you have developed a God of your own image. If you firmly believed the Bible is the word of God then you would not be saying what you're saying. If what you're saying is true then God is a liar. God is not a liar. You are wanting to make yourself feel better by comforting yourself with a lie. Dont do this.
