    Your question on chapter 17 is misstated The one 'how old was Abram when God made a covenant with him? The answer would be 86 as the question stated. (see ch. 15:18). The question should have been stated as 'how old was Abram when God made a covenant to make Abram a father of many nations (seed) and also changed his name from Abram to Abraham
