V. 17. Where did Cain's wife come from? As has been commented, we don't have all the specifics and I think there must have been sisters to be wives for Adam's sons. Gen. 3:20 says Eve was the mother of all living. In 1 Cor. 15:22, we have;"In Adam, all die", and Rom. 5:12 says sin and death passed from one man (Adam) to all mankind, indicating there were no other fathers created. Anyway, we inherited the bad results of the disobedience of one, and the atonement also is by one; Jesus Christ, whose mother was of fallen nature, but whose Father was God's Spirit. Aparrently, the life element is passed on by the father. Except for Gen. 3:20, I have found no references to prove that God did not create women from dust, it just sounds strange.
