Nobody today has ever been saved by Acts 2. Nobody today receives the Holy Ghost by being baptized in water. Acts 2 is Jews celebrating a Jewish feast Pentecost, there are no christians anywhere in Act 2. Peter is preaching to Jews that have just killed their Messiah. Acts is a transitional book, that transitions from the gospels to the church age. There are four ways that people are saved in Acts Acts 2 38 jews in water, Acts 8 16 by laying on of hands, Acts 10 44 hearing the word and Acts 16 31 belief in Christ. We are saved like the Ethiopian eunuch. Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ and then are baptized. The Gospel for the Church Age is found in 1 Cor.15 1 4. Dispensed to Paul, Peter finally came to Paul 's teaching of grace, 2 Peter 3 15 16. More people get messed up in Matthew,Acts,and Hebrews more than any other books in the Bible. They are all transitional.
