Laura we are to be sealed by the word of God before the tribulation of the Revelation and to do that go to chapter 6 of Revelation. To get insight and understanding Mark 13, Matt. 24, Luke 21 and 2 Thessalonians 2 are the events that will take place when the seals are opened. In reading those you will find Two tribulations, first one Satan comes acting as Christ, anti-Christ, which translated is instead of Christ and in that position takes over the world, all of the people except the Elect and with the elect any that heard the truth or read the truth and had eye 's to see or ear 's to hear escape the hour of temptation because they can 't be tempted by Satan. The called elect that are chosen to stand against Satan acting as Christ will be delivered up to Satans churches and the Holy Spirit will speak through the elect so that the whole world will hear the truth in hope that many that are worshipping anti- Christ as Christ will turn away and be saved.
