Heather, Matt. 6:33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things shall be added unto you. I was in the kingdom but not seeking His RIGHTEOUSNESS. Had to realize He is the one for everything in my life. I just plain started talking to Him out loud and telling Him how I felt. Had to give up money in tithes and offerings. Cheerful heart giving. He will love you!!
