I do admire the fact that Ruth who was a stranger in Bethlehemjudah did not let that stop her from being a candidate for the Lord's blessings, in that I mean she stayed her true self.
Since she did operate from a genuine heart she did not have to deal with character complexes, she just did not let anything at all stop her from humbling herself and going to glean in a strange land for herself and her mother in law.
So immediately she partook of the commanded blessing of the Lord that was destined by God for her reward here in this life, and in the life to come.
Again we can't miss our Lord's blessings while being selfless.
The blessings of the Lord maketh one rich and added no sorrow with it.
Trust God and verily thou shall be fed in a good land.
Be blessed!!
