    This chapter has important lessons for Christians. It presents a double test of faith and adherence to the command of God. Abraham demonstrated unshakable faith, a trait true Christians should hold dear. He also heeded the command of God not minding the sore consequence. As Christians,"Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it." ( John 2:5). God Himself used this episode to herald the sacrifice of Jesus
