    cont. - made in Gen. 1:26 -- this was only the plan or blueprint by which man was to be made. Man was made in Gen. 2:7 and the scripture says, "And the Lord God formed man ..... " He did it ALONE. The word Elohim is plural, but does not refer to beings, but to the many attributes of God. Elohim does not refer to a plurality of gods, for that is polytheistic; the Jews were STRICTLY MONOTHEISTIC.
