Elijah, John 1:17 says, "The law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ". In response to the scripture you referred to in Isa. 8:20. St. Paul said in Gal. 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ liveth in me and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me".
