Trent, I hope you keep studying the word and don't get discouraged with some of these difficult passages. In regard to the question over Cain marrying a sister most likely, that is all that would have been available. I made another comment minutes ago about the practice of marrying closes relations continuing up to the time of the Mosaic laws. The incestuous relationship where I see God definitely did NOT bless was the one in which Lot's two ungodly daughters got him drunk and then seduced him to preserve their family line ( Gen. 19.) The offspring of that resulted in two of the most ungodly cultures, the Moabites and the Ammonites.
