Well I'm a person in a Christian school and in seventh grade and I'm not the best person to be around and I've been learning from my teachers so much so I have decided I'm gonna read the Bible cause I got to thinking about how I could die at any time and I want to be ready for death so I chose this bible and by far this bible really helps me understand cause it's not hard to read it's understandable and makes it really easy for me to learn the word of god so I highly recommend this bible to everyone and the trivia really helps me remember what I learned.

In our last days God has warned us about in the writings of His words spoken thru the Bible. What have you done with your Life? All the outcome will hit you right in the face when you realize how many times God gave you Blessings and you threw them away on this sinful world of me -myself- and l will do what l want...when l want- and thru others telling you to do different. The evilness coming out to destroy God's gift to you. No one but you exposed your life. Just think how it will look in the Book of Life as it starts being read to you. You will be on your knees begging God for another chance. But how long did you have a chance to change your life on Earth. How many times have you helped others less fortunate. Didn't Jesus give of Himself to others never thinking of Himself. Didn't He bring the wisdom of His Father to others. He was always reaching out to the needs of others. No one knows how strong His Love and His Father's Love is until you walk into it. I did more then once. You can not describe it. The world knows nothing of this compassionate Love that can move a mountain. Not only does it come from the heart but the energy of His whole being. That is why no matter how bad you are He stands near waiting for His Last sheep to return. Knocking always until you do. The Light is so caring it will blind you at first. Love that comes from the inside out always looking inside the person. Never the outside. Pure Love!!!! Are you going to let that go when you are able to meet Him? Time is coming faster and faster. Get wise now! Beware now.. Start climbing the stairs to Heaven by doing good thru His Words. Don't let Satan drag you to the pit of Hell! Wise up now!!! Heed my warnings now!!! Another chance you will never get!!! Stay clear of the wickedness of this world...Repent..the time of His coming is very near!!! Ask for forgiveness...Save yourself in this hell bent world!!! I saw the sufferings that will become soon to all the Earth...Wake up before it comes:

How quiet the world is before the true outcome that is going to happen. Where is the Love of others from their heart as before. I wish l knew. Their minds on their problems or their greed. Waxed cold in these days. Hurting of kids and animals. Selfish love of self. Uncaring feelings of others. Poor Jesus how He must of felt when He walked this Earth. He wanted the best...but got the worse of mankind. Always fighting Satan. Going to the Father for help. He carried on in His days serving others. So strong in His Love for others before His self. Do you know the Strength of True Love when it comes to you? I do..

Jesus showed me long ago...l will never forget it....NEVER!!!

Have you noticed how close God is to you? He is waiting while your struggles from the dark side come upon you. Like me l have learned to take one day at a time. Trying to hear God when He leads me toward a person or situation of a need. I walk into the conflict for others as this world sees it...and l use God's way of solving it. Putting the whole armor on, l let God solve the problems thru me. What a sad world this has become. The darkness over whelms others that do not see the Light of God. The more you have been thru in your life-- the more of a fighter for others-- as Jesus was in His days, you are in these days. The Heavens are real. I have seen them in an after death. The Book of Life is real....everything the Bible has shown in the writings from long ago is ALL REAL!!! GO TO YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE. PRAISE HIM!!!!! UNTIL THE DAY HE RETURNS!!!!!

Hi Chris, I'll try to clarify more as best as possible. Sin is the things you mention such as lying, stealing, murder. It also can be gossip and similar acts with evil intent. A very basic definition of sin is doing or not doing that which is against the will of God. Sin can be not doing what God says. Think of Jonah, God gave the order to witness to Nineveh, but he ran from the task.

Ex: An evil thought enters the mind. You decide what to do with it, to cast it out or harbor it in your heart. If you cast it out, it's over. Victory against temptation. If it goes into the heart to continue, there is where sin develops and one begins to act out on it. See 1 Co. 10:5 "Casting down imaginations" I can only resist temptation because of God's Spirit in my heart from sanctification. Ex. 2: Judas; things such as covetousness/love of money was a temptation, he harbored it in heart and acted by betrayal for 30 pcs silver. Luke 22:3 Satan entered Judas because he did not cast temptation out but rather dwelled on it and acted on it. We know the rest, he betrayed Jesus and later regretted it, then in despair hung himself. He was saved at one time, temptation took hold, he betrayed Jesus, and lost out.

James 1:12-15 "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation" Fact, all are tempted, but temptation does not become sin unless you let it linger in the heart. Temptation itself is not the sin but if it reaches the heart then it becomes sin.

Consider these too; Ep. 4:3-6 Only 1 God who teaches all the same, no confusion in 1; 1 Co. 14:33, 1 Co. 1:10 speak the same thing, not language but in belief.

I did not always know much about God. When I got saved, the Holy Spirit taught me truth and I then can read and understand the mysteries in the Bible. And to be clear, salvation and sanctification are 2 separate acts required to be fully saved from sin. Think OT tabernacle with 2 rooms, both with altars to apply blood sacrifice. Today Christ is the our sacrifice. If we believe and obey.

Peace to you in the name of Our Lord. Seek Ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added unto you . You try to add understanding in your own strength. We are told to lean not on our own understanding. when you follow Our Lord with all of your heart, strength and mind we are given His wisdom to see. The answer to your question is, We all fall short of the Glory of God. There is not one good. Only God. Oir Lord is correct and true when He tells us judge not least Ye be judged. We are all sinners.
  • Earl Bowman - In Reply on Revelation 12 - 5 years ago
Clarie, may the Spirit grace you with his understanding. The Spirit of truth is all you need to overcome. Quit saying I try, you will always fall. Put you trust in him, believe what he says, he never fails. Ezekiel 36:25-28 Then will I sprinkle clean water (Baptism of Spirit) upon you, and you shall be clean (believe): from all your filthiness, and from all you idols (works of you hands, like saying I try) will I cleanse you. (vs) 26 A new heart (mind, the way the Spirit thinks) also will I give you, and a new spirit (of truth) will I put within you: and I will take away the stony (hardened) heart (carnal mind) out of your flesh, and will give you a heart (mind) of flesh (truth, Spirit). (vs) 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and CAUSE (Spirit at work, not you saying, I try) you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgements, and do them. Jesus told his disciples that the Son Of Man came to be a servant, isn't it great that he does eveything for us and we can cease from our works and come into his rest. May the Spirit grace you with truth.

No one comes to the father but through me! Jesus. Once you except Christ into your heart you are Justified by his death. Then the road to learning with the Holy spirit is sanctification. You are saved from your sins past present and future period. All will far short of the Glory of God but once saved The Father (God Head) puts his hands over you and that's the end of it, you are his child! Can you still sin, yes if you dont listen to the Holy spirit. Jesus said to guard our minds. Jesus said this be cause he understood past present and future and knew we would struggle will sin in our minds. But a true Christian in true faith and relationship with Christ knows he can fall from grace. And this is why we are having this conversation so that we reinforce Gods words. If you do not have on the full armored of God how can you be perfect? You cant because most of us know we are saved because we have on the helmet of salvation but we are running around naked without the other parts of the armor that make us whole. Evan as we are saved we sin and those who say they are true Christains without sin, are not saved at all. To walk in Jesus's footsteps is to have relationship with God but to be him is impossible. Remember Jesus said we are little Gods with a small G. Dont doubt your salvation because you are not perfect or may fall from grace (sin), but instead doubt your imperfection cant get better to be more like Jesus. GOD BLESS! Jesus came to save us by dying on the cross, so that we may be saved from the raptor of certain death. Our job is to sow and grow the crops through the Gospel, dont worry about the benefits, give the Glory to God, for that is what we will be judged for, not for our sins. So give the Glory to God in everything you do. From the time you get up till the time your lie down and know that he knows your needs, and He The Father loves you greatly. Love in your hearts!

I just found your site this morning, having looked up a verse earlier and the search was still on my computer when I logged back on. Although I do like the ASB and the NASB, the KJV is still my favorite. There are several scriptures which I'm so familiar with in the KJV that they just don't sound the same written any other way.

The opportunity though to message online with other believers is welcome. So many sites now are becoming opposed to the truth of God's Word. So, thank you for being here.

Richard, thanks for your response. I appreciate the feedback I have received from Chris and yourself. I mean, I have been to several different churches in various states from when I was a soldier and afterward. I have never doubted people on television who preach, or churches I have walked into looking for spiritual guidance. What amazes me during my Christian walk is you can have two learned men, Doctors of Theology and yet disagree on the meaning of the same text!! What is the average dude like myself to do in a dilemma like that? I have come to a point now where I actually sit down and not just read the Bible, but study it and I get angry that I did not do it sooner. When I ask Chris about certain things that have bothered me and my suspicions are confirmed I think.....man, I have wasted years listening to these folks. I mean I was young but it led to adulthood where I should have wised up and did my research like Christ tells us to. It's my fault for being a little gullible and I should have been reading the Bible and studying it.

This Psalm was laid on my heart. It is so comforting to know that God does not " Remember " our sins once

we are forgiven. The one who remembers our past sins and transgressions is Satan. We are not his children

so what God says is what count. We do not have to ask for forgiveness for the same sin over and over, unless

we are committing that Sin again. We must remember that God will not strive with us and He is not to be

played with. I love God because I am his child , forgiven and my name is written in the Book of Life.

I cannot believe a couple of months have gone by since I found this site, and remembered to come back to it. I am humbled that you all came to help me. Thank you so much. Just having someone to talk through is a blessing in itself. I have since bookmarked it.

I haven't found a church yet, as I don't get out much. Since my Mother passed in '95, losing my best and dearest friend, and the other friends all moved away, as life goes, I more or less pulled inside myself with my grief. I did try to make new friends, but I do not seem to be the person I was, and just couldn't get past or trust my aching heart. So I just kept to myself. I know now that I should have gotten some grief counseling, as I ended up have carotid artery surgery and then a tripe by pass, which really brought me down, and that is a very long story.

I did buy a bible, however, after I found this site, although I am not sure I am getting much out of it. But I am going to do as Mishael suggested and start at the end...John. I say my prayers most every night, the RC Act of Contrition, The Hail Mary, the Lords Prayer, and end with the Glory Be, like on the Rosary beads. I am now starting to wonder about the Hail Mary. I have listened to The Growing Awareness, on Utube as well as GoodDog. And have heard so much stuff that quite frankly amazes me, and they claim it's all in the bible. Some is quite amazing and uplifting, some seems a little frightening, and some, I really cannot quite wrap my arms around.

The Satanic stuff really scares me. And the human trafficking is overwhelming. But since learning about the vatican etc...I am really glad that I got out of that. I believe my eyes are open now to a lot of the things that I did not see.

One thing I do know, is that God is great and he has been with me through my trials. I know that now. He has been leading me where I believe he wants me to go, and he has healed me when I needed it most. God Bless.

The Word of God is so timeless! I know sometimes, I get caught up on other chapters in the Bible, but it is always refreshing, to go back to the Book Of Genesis!, where it all began, it's like going back to the fundamentals of the faith. When I read the OT, I ask the Holy Spirit to see Christ!

While some will come to offer Biblical reference I will offer you a personal experience.

I "died" after a horrific motorcycle accident while in the hospital. (Since I am alive now one could argue that I did not actually "die" and therefore it was a NDE but I will leave that debate alone.)

When my soul left my body I was pulled straight to The Light. (First I went through what I can only describe as Space at a million miles a second.) I did not see or witness any angels or "beings" taking or guiding me. As I approached the light His voice stopped me. I was given an instruction and was allowed to respond. He then appeared(I was allowed to see Him but not His face) said five words and sent me back.

Maybe this helped, maybe not. Since I did not "permanently die" maybe my experience differs from the specific nature of your question.

That event helped me though. It saved my soul!

If anyone sees this and has any doubts within themselves..Jesus Christ IS real and the love I felt in that "moment" will never be forgotten and is uncomprehendable. There is nothing on Earth that compares to the power and love within His presence.

I would also like to add that this occured when I was the biggest sinner I have ever been in my life. If you(anyone reading) believe you aren't good enough for Jesus, you are and he loves you more than you can understand!

Holy ones, yes; they're the same as the people who have chosen to live true in Christ, whole heartedly in Him and not partial. These are below an excerpt from the book Holiness by J. C. Ryle, from a chapter called Holiness; which are very helpful 1-7:

    1. Holiness is the habit of being of one mind in God, according to how it's described in Scripture. It is the habit of agreeing in God's judgment, hating what He hates, loving what He loves, and measuring everything in this world by the standard of His Word.

    2. A holy man will endeavor to shun every known sin and to keep every known commandment.

    3. A holy man will strive to be like our Lord Jesus Christ. He will not only live the life of faith in Him and draw from Him all his daily peace and strength, but he will also labor to have the mind that was in Him and to be conformed to His image ( Rom. 8:29). Christ was a faithful witness for the truth; that He came not to do His own will; but His Father's will.

    4. A holy man will follow after meekness, patience, gentleness, patience, kind tempers, government of his tongue.

    5. A holy man will follow after temperance and self-denial.

    6. A holy man will follow after charity and brotherly kindness

    7. A holy man will follow after a spirit of mercy and benevolence towards others.

The greatest misery of a holy man is that often when he would do good "evil is present with him"; that the old man is clogging all his movements and, as it were, trying to draw him back at every step he takes ( Rom. 7:21). But it is the excellence of a holy man that he is not at peace with indwelling sin, as others are. He hates it, mourns over it and longs to be free from its company. The work of sanctification within him is like the wall of Jerusalem-the building goes forward "even in troublous times" ( Dan. 9:25).
