In verse 16, it describes Holy Spirit as a helper. IN this verse it highlights that those who choose to associate with the world can not receive the blessing of holy spirit. They chose not to know or recognize god 's authority. However, those who do, can gain a free flow of holy spirit, which enables us to endure in this system of things.

Here we hear from Christ himself that God is greater than he is. Jesus Christ himself is the Son of the most Highest. All those that inherit salvation through Christ, will also be sons of the most Highest, not sons of Christ, BUT, Christ has been given by the Father the highest rule in his kingdom, as Jesus Christ is the firstborn of all us Sons of God. Christ belongs to the Father. Christ is the word, and we see here in John 14 Jesus says that the word is the fathers. Christ is the visible image of God, but you must understand that he is not the unseen God, but he is within the unseen God and God within him in the same sense that we will know we are in him and him in us on the day of his return as Christ said here in John 14:20. Christ light is the building block of all life and it is Gods love that holds all things together and commanded there existence. Just as Jesus Christ was sent, so we was sent forth from the beginning to create all things. All things are for him and by him. He is the laborer, the mediator, for both God and Us. Christ is the image of God, and we are the image of them both. Christ is God of Gods, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, because as sons of God, thats exactly what we will be in his kingdom. Jesus is the only mediator between man and God. Jesus himself is the word of God, He who loves Jesus word will keep his commandments. Obedience is the perfect key to follow Jesus. When the Holy Spirit dwells us we understand and will see God 's glory no matter what religion you have we are the children of God. No person comes to the Father except by Jesus. Jesus is the only Way to Eternal Life. Exodus 3:13-14 says,And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. Moses needed confidence and and God said to tell him that I AM was sending Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt by I AM 's power. John 14 passage is a treasure because Jesus is talking about being the WAY to eternal life and being the only Way to God. Also that Jesus would send the Holy Spirit in His name after Jesus ascended back to the Father, coming on the Day of Pentecost in Acts 2. John is one of my favorite books in the Bible. Yes, God has different names but only one begotten Son, Jesus and we have life in His name, when we trust and obey Him.

I thought that this passage refers to all believers, no matter what faith you followed. Baptist, Catholic, Protestant, Hindu,Judaism,etc.! If you believed in God, Yahweh, Jehovah....The creator of us all, no matter what name you place to our Lord. I once heard that He gave his name to Moses as "I am " when Moses asked while on the mount and God appeared as the burning bush.

Jesus Christ is our peace that he gave according to Ephesians 2:14 If you have accepted Him, you will enjoy His peace in every situation.

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Acts 2 38 is the beginning of our Christian walk. We need to be spreading the Word of God by living His Word, planting seeds of hope for a future, making disciples of all nations, be shining lights for the dark world, always pointing to Jesus as the author and finisher of our faith.Many people are blinded by money and miss the riches of Christ. Judas saw our Savior Jesus perform many healings, miracles and people raised from the dead but Judas chose a different path. We need to pray that our nation, friends and families repent and come to Jesus, the giver of true riches.

Hello M. Lynn Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh. There is no three beings in the godhead to worship. There is only one. 1 John 5 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one. Also read 1 Timothy 3 16. The choice is yours to serve him in spirit and in truth by following Acts 2 38.

This Chapter is a beautiful read of why faith is the ultimate imperative in our relationship to the Father and Son. His explanation to Judas was an open heart invitation to the trinity, the choice is ours.

Part 3 of 3 Ephesians 4 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. There are many religions, but there is only one faith. Faith is what separates what is true and not true. The true believers believe in the word of God as it is written by the Apostles follow what Peter stated on the day of Pentecost in order to be saved, Acts 2 38. According to Paul epistle James 1 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world , James was saved. He was of the same faith as Paul and Peter.

I go to prepare a place for you , Jesus is not saying that he is going to build anything for us. He is going to prepare a place not build. Think about it like this, when a person visits or relatives move in, you make room for them in your abode or home. This is what Jesus was saying. The mansions are already there. God does not find rest in us. We find rest in him. Matthew 11 28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest .

Part 1of 3 Hello Sandesh tiwade The body is a temple for the living God. 2 Corinthians 6 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them and I will be their God, and they shall be my people . This scripture is referring to the filling of the Holy Ghost by God within the body of a person who has followed Acts 2 38. After we have followed Acts 2 38 then we become the living temples of God.

Could someone tell me why they think fasting isn 't taught more. Jesus said His followers would fast more after he left. I don 't understand why I don 't hear more sermons on fasting but there are many in churches who would never dream of missing the monthly potluck after worship.

In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed, Father help them to be one as we are one so the world will believe you sent me. John 17 17 21. Yes, we need to be the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing in the lost and lifting up the fallen. Not arguing on who has more truth. Jesus is the Way and we find rest in Him. There us no other name under Heaven whereby we are saved but Jesus.

THERE ARE MORE THAN 90000 DENOMINATIONS IN CHRISTIANITY AND SORRY TO SAY THAT EACH DENOMINATION THINKS HE IS BETTER AND PERFECT , THEY UNDERMINE OTHERS. Hello Joni G. John 14 2 In my Father 's house are many mansions if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you . If it were not so Jesus would not have said it. I believe there are physical mansions. We know that there is furniture of some sort, because in Revelation 4 1 thru 4 there are thrones mentioned. There is a city mentioned in heaven that is surrounded by gates, Revelation Chapters 21 and 22. It is not beyond the realm of belief that Jesus Christ has mansions, physical mansions made for us. We will be singing, rejoicing, and praising God forever. There will be no more sickness or hatred. However, this still does not mean that we will not have furniture and places to live. The four and twenty elders sit and then fall down and worship God, Revelation 4 10.

I wonder what kind of mansion Jesus is building for us? He knows us inside and out. It won 't be a physical mansion of course. We are going to be praising Him forever and ever. When I was a little girl singing in worship, I remember the preacher saying we would be singing praises forever. I thought, won 't we get tired? No more tiredness. Rest in the Savior. He will also explain many things to us...

Hello Nancy Yes, you are absolutely correct. It is part of the salvation plan. You cannot just get any kind of baptism. It has to be the correct baptism. The correct baptism is so important that Paul rebaptized 12 men the correct way, Acts 19 1 thru 7.

Baptism IS NEEDED for salvation...repent and be baptised everyone of you for the remission of you sins... maybe not said in exact words .

Baptism is not only a work but a deed as well. The word work means activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose or result. You make up your mind to follow Acts 2 38. You are putting for a physical effort to get the job done by being submerged in water according to the scriptures. The word deed means something that is done, an act or action. Colossians 3 17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. The baptism means to submerge in water. The Greek word baptizo means to dip or to plunge. The symbolic meaning of the baptism is the burial. There are many examples of this throughout the Book of Acts. The baptism is so important that in Acts 19 1 7 these 12 men had to be rebaptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Jesus said it Peter clarified it on the day of Pentecost, Acts 2 38, the Apostles carried it out. Even Paul who is the Gentiles Apostle baptized Acts 19 1 thru 7. Baptism is very important and part of the salvation plan.

Hello I cannot stress enough that we are living in the last days. You must follow Acts 2 38 in order to be saved. You must have the correct baptism. Does baptism save you alone? The answer is no. You need to repent and God has to fill you with the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit of God give utterance. However, baptism is part of the salvation plan. The preacher must call the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins. The correct and true baptism will bring about the following Being baptized the correct way, you are baptized unto his death, have put on Christ, buried with him, and the answer of a good conscience toward God. Romans 6 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Galatians 3 27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Hello Mockingbird I do not think that you are saying the same thing as I am are you? Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. The only way that Jesus Christ dwells in us is through the power of the Holy Ghost which he gives to those who truly repents. The evidence after receiving the Holy Ghost is the speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God give you utterance. There is only one being in the Godhead bodily. There is not three beings in the Godhead bodily. Jesus Christ is God all by himself. It is a mystery, but it is the truth, 1 Timothy 3 16.
