V. 24 - " ... and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a 'brother'." I highlighted brother because - it just occurred to me brother could also very well mean brother in the church; not just blood brother.

'Jesus' is all through the O.T. The whole of the O.T. is all about Jesus. Luke 24:44, Jn. 20:28 - Thomas was a DEVOUT Jew. NO Jew will call anyone 'Lord' and 'God' except He is that. Deut.6:4 - Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one Lord," (Shema). Nor did Jesus, being a DEVOUT Jew, rebuke Thomas. The name Jehovah translates to Jesus.

"Jehovah's" name is a source of protection. That's why it's critical to know this name. Yet Sadly, even with the KJ that name is obscured by TITLES such as LORD. It's capitalized and italicized so we know that the translator understood the omission of the Divine Name.

Vs. 1 Whoever isolates himself pursues his own selfish desires; He rejects all practical wisdom.

Jehovah God made us to be gregarious people. It is not good for us to isolate ourselves or think we can do everything on our own. God has made a congregation to help us and provide comfort as well as himself. Let us always fellowship with God and our brothers at our christian meetings.

This verse reminds me of the apostle Paul's exhortation to the early church in Romans 8:31 b 'If God be for us, who can be against us' The great picture of the tower reminded me of the strength of our Protector and Saviour. Thank you for your discussion of this verse. I found it a real blessing.

The name of the Lord is a strong Tower the RIGHTEOUS RUNNING INTO IT AND IT SAFE. Our GOD IS SO POWERFUL HE IS THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD IN HIM THERE IS NO DARKNESS. If we choose and accept Jesus in our life we have everything that we need. HE IS THE VINE AND WE ARE THE BRABCHES WITHOUT HIM WE CANT BEAR FRUIT. HE is our SAVIOUR OF OUR SOUL. THANKS TO THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

V14. "The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity;" Your attitude, your faith in the Lord will give you the right attitude. Joseph was a man that walked with the Lord, and as a results, he had an excellent attitude! No matter what the circumstances, Joseph knew that the Lord was in control.

A man is made by the Holy Image of God therefore we must obey the word of God and follow Jesus. If we delight ourselves unto God first all things that we need will be added. Jesus is the only Jehovah who provides everything in any of our situation. thanks to Jesus blood that shed for us his resurrection, his ascencion and the holy Spirit. Amen

God has rescued his nation from Egypt to the promised land, along their journey there where things that made them to doubt God. He proceeded giving them shelter and security for forty years through all the seasons in the wilderness. Our situation is the, we need Him to guide and lead us in this century. Let 's call unto HIM who is our creator, that is where we run to him, cause we are made righteous by the blood of JESUS.

I think tongue release what comes from the mind, Let us fill our minds with Word of God, bear in mind that Word of God is GOOD NEWS. It means your tongue will release good as it had been in our mind, Filling our minds with something different to the Word it won 't help, good news produce good things like good speech, good question, good respond and others , Amen.

i have confident wenever i call this name Jesus...the bible says the Lord exalted Jesus and gave him the name that is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heavens, on earth and under the earth and every tounge confess that Jesus is the Lord. This name Jesus is powerful...demons trembles by the name Jesus, sicknesses and diseases are healed by this name Jesus

Proverbs 18:22

Very practical advice from the bible. It encourages to think before you speak hear all sides of a matter. This simple verse can be applied today in relationships within the family or friendships. A husband and wife can apply this scripture in listening to their spouse and their feelings when an argument arises. When there are rumors about your friend listen to the and their side before making a judgement. This one little scripture is powerful, and if applied, can make a positive change in our lives!
