1 Corinthians
King James Version (KJV)

“I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.”
King James Version (KJV)
3:2 I fed you, as babes, with milk - The first and plainest truths of the gospel. So should every preacher suit his doctrine to his hearers.
1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk. When he was at Corinth he treated them as babes, teaching them the simple, rudimentary principles. "Milk" is metaphorically simple teaching. And not with meat. Stronger and deeper doctrines. In the school of Christ, like all others, the teaching must be adapted to the advancement of the learner.
I haue fed you with milke, and not with meate: for hitherto yee were not able to beare it, neither yet now are ye able.
