Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Do you want Gods approval? STUDY!

in the church there are diferent personality of different characters.,some are of the best behaviour,why some are there for an entertainment,why some are for destrutive purposes.

i'm really in love with Jesus and love His word that has prepared me to continue therein and be not a forgetful hearer ( james 1:25) but a doer of His word that man shall be bless in all he does studing God,s word will be intement with The Word of Godthat will do what it,s saywatching it comes to past because only God knows everything and can approve what motive

Reverent Walker used it in an opening remark of a lecture. "If you don't study to be approved you should be ashamed. Worship can neither supplement nor replace preaching. Preaching deserves the highest excellence. It is the method chosen by the Lord to save the lost. Scripture says that by 'the foolishness of preaching - not foolish by preaching. So study and prepare well.

No man that warreth[against principalities in high places] entangleth himself with... [Prideful,self centered, lustful] affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier [engaged in The political Battle against Tyranny].

to me this means to stand for the lord do not come down do the work god has called me to do sin is still sin. be faithful in the work and remember what I have learn from others.stand with them that one day I may become a teacher also I must study for my self to get revelation knowledge for my self. go on to verse 3 stand firm as a solider be willing to suffer for the lord.

Powerful stuff. This is one area where as young people we often miss out on the good stuff prepared for us by our creator.

2 Tim 2 is saying that if we don't follow after Christ and Obey what he said to do we are not the servants of Christ..if we Deny Him then He will deny us Before the Father...that's Why it says Study to show yourselves approved unto God..rightly dividing the word of Truth..We Need to Obey Christ and not follow what men say....read it for ourselves...stand up for the word of God ....

To me, this verse speaks of cleansing your heart, mind and soul of any unrighteousness and we must stand pure before our Lord in order for Him to use us as His vessel. Just as we cleanse ourselves before taking communion. I pray God will one day use me for His Glory.

its awarning to us all that we must get rid of lusts that were seen in us long time ago during our youth.

he was sent to encourage the chruch an to comfort and to warm them of raven wolfs that would sneak in the pack to destroy. to have oversight of the body of christ.

Though we are saved by grace, that gets us into the door, But there is a place, a special place for those who are clean by his word people who live there lives on purpose for God because they love Him. We know that he loves us. As he fills us with the power of his work we must meditate and be always consious of that word. wait on oppotunity to use it. As we continue to walk in faith by the application of his word, we will find ourselves running into more and more oppotunities to be used by Him.

This scripture is saying to me that Christians should make every effort to know the correct interpretation of the word of God especially in today society because of so many false teaching in
the world. Know the word and live the word.

Continual santification,make us to be honored and being used by Him.

FOUNDATION IS ESSENTIAL. GOD HAS ESTABLISHED RIGHTEOUSNSS AS THE ON WAY TO HIM (no eye can see God without holiness)AND THAT CANNOT BE ULTERED. SO WHOSOEVER BELONGS TO GOD MUST DO RIGHT.

2 Tim 2:22 warns us to flee from youthful lusts. The solution is to call on the name of the Lord out of a pure heart..

great message from my GOD. GOD is good all the time. And yes he want us to focus on him and he will handle the rest.

I feel that God is telling me if we are to fight the good fight of faith we cannot allow the cares of this life to complicate or confuse us. When we do our vision becomes blurred. Our overall perspective becomes a confusing mass of twist thoughts that hold us back and drag us down which keeps us from achieving our goals. God wants us to endure hard times and not allow the hard times [the cares] to prevent us from being the good soldier Christ calls us to be.

A believer should allow the Holy Spirit to take control of his life by not depending on his understanding. If this happens, all the good attributes of Christ will be seen, manifesting in him in all dimension. Just allow God to take absolute control of your life.

This is very important for us.

Verse 22 "Run from anything that holds you back." Be blessed.

It is an amazing advice. At work, church, school or could be anywhere, people are full of spirits, now as a true Christian, be on guard through the word of God. Count it all joy.

We need to study the Word of God. Be not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In meekness, instructing those who oppose themselves, our hope is they will repent from their sin peradventure, if God. NOTICE; therefore purge yourself from these separate yourself from vessels of dishonor and their false doctrine and you will be a vessel of honor!

Without faith it is impossible to believe God, and then please Him.

I Love this Bible verse. It's very uplifting.

Kathy's comment has merit, but falls short. There are 4 programs or divisions to the Bible.
1) Pre Jewish Law (Genesis to Exodus 19);
2) Under the Jewish Law ( Exodus 20 to Acts 7);
3) Christian church age ( Acts 8 -Philemon);
4) Tribulational and Millennial to Hebrew-Christians after the Rapture of the Church (Hebrews to Revelation);
5) Divided in this light the verses in the New Testament that confuse "works" and "grace" are eliminated from the portion of scripture directly aimed at the Christian in the "church" age where salvation is by grace and nothing more.

The destruction of the flesh include destruction of flesh itself, as well as lack of prosperity in any or all life categories.
Which means life dissatisfaction.
