Adam, thank you very much and I want to tell you that you are right on! I have thought about all the things you just said. Instead of me changing everything I just sit and feel sorry for myself and ask God to make me happy! I also have been really worried about what is going on in this country a lot and I need to stop because there is not one thing I can do about it at all! If we have the Holy Father then we really do not have anything to worry about at all! Thanks again and I am going to try to change the way I look at things now! I do not want to be contrary, but there are scriptures that are coming to mind.

Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

God says by his prophet that he will tell his people (Israel) what is to come to pass before it happens. Things coming to pass would include both the blessings and judgement. No prophet from between Malachi and Jesus has predicted the extreme and severe and by my heart horrific events that many Jewish believers have suffered.

Deuteronomy 18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like

unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;

This Prophet , Jesus, fulfilled this passage. It is from this Prophet, Jesus Christ on that will predict what is yet to come to pass before it passes for all people including all Jews and Gentiles.

While that physical challenge would be an adjustment to deal with and while you can find sympathy and prayers, I would like to challenge you in a different way which God already gave us freewill to change: our outlook and attitude. The fact is life is short and we all have limitations and challenges, some seen, some hidden. Grass is greener on the other side too. You admitted that you had 50 years of active fun with your family- that's amazing! Many people don't even get to experience what that's like to be married like you and many are lonely like me who never found a person to love. What I don't understand is how you think that having a physical limitation automatically means you can't be happy? Who says? Or that it means your 'no good for her'?! Where does that thought even come from? Does it come from God or satan? It's certainly not God, because all are valuable in his sight. Have you seen the youtube video of the motivational speaker with no arms and legs who travels the world and has a fulfilling life? Why do you think he's happy and he's overflowing with blessings, but you can actually still walk but are giving up on yourself? Do you think people who are disabled or in wheelchairs can't be happy? What I suggest is to challenge your interpretation of your condition. Count your blessings, do what Philippians 4 says. Yes, pray, but the best you can do for your wife is to have a positive mental outlook. It takes practice, but you already have power over these emotions which come from false interpretations. You do this by replacing your interpretation with a more positive and realistic interpretation, practice this and thinking how blessed you are, practice having compassion for all the others in this world who don't have as much as you. Learn from those who have found the 'secret' of being content in all situations, like Paul, and the disabled motivational speaker. Don't believe the enemy's lies about your value. As Mishael said it is hideous and I agree. And yes, I do not suggests that many should see the same thing, as it is very upsetting. I imagine if there are two forgotten old churches that have not removed their caskets from the public's view that there are more.

Hello, yes, you will be forgiven if you follow Jesus. But under grace we still are accountable for our actions. Jesus asks us to avoid sin. Jesus says in the way we forgive others we will also be forgiven. Read Matthew 18.

I am glad I have a God that is faithful and just. We are all broken and trying to do our best to be like Christ so often we try to do it on our own. I am thankful that the Bible reminds me that if we repent and ask God's forgiveness, He is there ready to forgive us. "Ask and it shall given unto you". Amen.

There's a lady I know how she use to have long hair but over the years all of a sudden it got so short that now she is so unhappy about it because her hair just wont grow again. Her hair on her head has stopped growing.

The Pretribulation rapture of the church cannot be found in the bible . Because it's a heresy . I have been to churches that fully are indoctrinated with this so I heard just about all there is to it , it still is not in the bible .

My conclusion is they are confusing the first resurrection with the so called Rapture 7 yrs before the tribulation .

It started by jN Darby of the Plymouth brethren about 1830 s. . Yes I attended these churches for quite a while so I heard it all ! Still not found in the Bible after 45 yrs reading it prayerfully . Yes at one time I believed it until I started reading my Bible for myself .

Yes, very heinous indeed! I was a practicing Catholic for 33 years and when the Lord led me through His word I was horrified when I realized the idolatry in which I had participated...I wept bitter tears but praise God, I am forgiven! The last time I had to attend a mass for a funeral, I was happy to find that I can no longer recite the mass in robotic fashion as I had since I was a child. Even though I had not participated verbally in 20 years, your mind can't help but follow along because it is so ingrained.

The Word of God is God ( John 1:1) and is not of any private interpretation ( 2 Peter 1:20).

The word 'Repent' in different forms (repent, repentance, repented, repentest, repenteth, repenting, repentings) is mentioned 110 times in the KJV, and means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. The word 'repent' used in the New Testament was translated from the Greek word "metanoeo", and means to change, transform, to think differently or reconsider.

It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9) and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( Matthew 7:7; John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), as mankind follows after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Rev. 12:9).

I was taught your belief, and it came from JN Darby of the Plymouth brethren back in the 1830s . The Christians like George Miller of Bristol rejected this whole made up fabrication way back then . Scofield Bible promoted this heresy and it became popular among many but still a heresy .

Your opening statement is false , the Apostles where all Jewish the first church that was Jewish too Peter preached to those that actually crucified the Lord in the book of acts 3000 or more converted mostly Jews .

To L Hennigan and anyone else who embraces this "rapture theory". We are to rightly divide truth from fiction in God's Word. Then you asked for scriptural proof. You just read some of it in 1 Thess. 4: 14,15,16, and 17...!!! No where in His Word does it state anything referring to a "rapture". Why would God do what you suggest? He protected His people crossing the Red Sea. He protected Daniel while in the lions den. Shaderach, Meshach, and Abednigoh "spelling" while IN the furnace. And throughout scripture we see His hand of protection while people go through adversity. What makes you believe God is going to change His plan to fit man's beliefs? Call it a "rapture" if you must, but it will NOT happen until the very end. Christ returns for the harvest at the end. Not pre or mid tribulation.

While the Holy Spirit is still here, we should pray often to the Lord of the Harvest; to send workers into the Harvest. Jesus got off alone frequently to pray alone. That's where you receive your power: on your knees.

Don't leave home without it. In street ministry it's very hard to spend time talking to someone if the Holy Spirit has not been drawing that person to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. He can arrange a Divine appointment; but we are the feet, the hands, the compassion who participates in that appointment.

Prayer and intercession are necessary. A life is being touched by our Savior. He prays 24/7, all over the world, every day.

If you hit a goat on its head, it will try to head butt you back. I think the woman who went to the well to draw water is a good example of witnessing. The Holy Spirit had given a word of knowledge about that woman's life. Because of her joy, her whole village got saved too! And... they were Gentiles!

I've seen many brave doctors get on there and testify that after a patient was prayed for in the room, before surgery, they had great success! Some had tumors that just weren't there anymore!

I would probably tell them not to mind the angels in the corner watching over my operation :D I'm most inclined to do serious warfare for aches and pains my doc says: it's just part of aging. Grrrr.

How hideous! I did not know of such things. I once worked in an office with a catholic priest. I remarked on a picture of Jesus he had on his desk, and he launched into a full demonstration of his relics.
