I have what I believe to be a provision for me , a laymen spoke of a miracle healing , and the person used Oil of Oregano.

I decided after hearing of it to try some maybe it will work for something else was my thought . 15 or so years later it has worked for everything I have needed . And also the Covid 19 and any other virus. By experience I'm speaking . I use even large doses and it works better for any pain or illness , works great for my allergies. I can keep my dog , now 8 years with it or it would have to go ! :) This is my experience, it has worked for others but , a good quality oil is needed , and wisdom on how to use it for your self . I could write a book on this God made herb , found in the bible , known as Hyssop, the same thing !

To Alex, I would re read Exodus 20 Verses 8 through 11. The scripture is clear that The Sabbath is to be kept holy. You said the disciples followed him 24/7 like a marriage. In marriage there is only one day that is the anniversary for each couple. On that day most couples celebrate this day as special. A day that is set apart to each other as something special. I have to say your idea of John being the Groom is unusual also. John as a disciple,is a member of the Church. and the church is the bride of Christ. He is returning one day for his bride. That is a metaphore for the foundation of the world. The bible talks about paths in the seas in psalms 8, and really that is talking about ocean currents. Pillars of Creation are also mentioned and you dont see those either.

1. I don't see the imagery you give here. Though I do agree, that when we serve the Lord, even simply abiding in Him, Satan is always around to stifle, intimidate, or destroy our joy in serving Him.

2. Earthquakes are observed when the Earth's tectonic plates shift producing rumbles in the Earth or in the worst case, major land movements causing destruction. When they happen in special instances ( Mt 27:51, 28:2 & others), it can be true that these were also given as signs of Divine Intervention ( 1 Kings 19:11; Rev 6:12).

3. Correct, Jesus had already risen from the dead, so the Angel of the Lord was sent to roll away the stone & to announce this great news to the Marys & to alert the disciples of this fact.

In this chapter we see the Moabites influencing Israel to worship Baal even though they new God's Word concerning this issue. Number four: it is not a necessity to have that gift ( 1 Cor 12:30). Albert quoted verse 29 correctly, but should have also included verse 30.

Though having said that, a Pentecostal acquaintance actually interpreted v 30 this way in support of the gift: "do all speak with tongues?', should be read, "do (a command, a must) all (believers) speak with tongues". Needless to say, I was rendered speechless & floundering.

I think that if we accept the experiments conducted & hypotheses formed as a result, then the physical laws are correct (e.g. in relation to mass & energy: "that neither matter nor energy can be created nor destroyed, but converted into another form"). This assumes man's observations of matter around him which draws the above conclusion. The problem arises with Heb 11:3, when we read "that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear". We often understand this verse to mean that what we see came from things which we don't see (i.e. atoms). If we stayed with the Law of Mass & Energy, then God had to use atoms in His creative work. Is then God confined by this Law? Or dare we presume that there was no matter in infinite time, but God, Who Himself is without matter, also created the basic building blocks of matter? So what I see here is that Science can only be based on observable, experimental deductions; it simply cannot go beyond that, since that would require faith, or as they might regard it, "blind belief".

Then this creative work of God, when applied to living beings, still has its substance in matter (i.e. the (dust) of the Earth, to which it will return). Yet, as you said, "we do not die when our body dies" would be true if confined to the physical, i.e. the body (matter) returns to dust (matter). Though, can we say the same for the spirit of man? This is not matter, not created from it nor will transform in some way into it. It is God-created & will one day return back to Him (Eccl 12:7 "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it."). This doesn't prove that we were alive before our birth but that at the giving of life, God also gave us a spirit (not matter, nor recycled) that is not subject to death. And with all this, God even knew us (about being a special creation with a specific purpose in life). God's creative Work goes well outside the bounds of human Science. Further thoughts?

This is the first think that caught my attention in Matthew 28:1-2 When the two Marys approached the tomb, there was an great earthquake because the angel of the Lord had descended from Heaven. Three things about this: first, even when we are doing the Lord honor, fearful things may happen around us. Second, a question comes to mind. Are all earthquakes caused because of angelic activity? However, I can't help you with your belief in a flat Earth; I just go by the photos from space - & that'll do me for now. Maybe for interests sake & in understanding the Wisdom of God, (& not asking for much), you could take the mileage from Budgewoi to Sydney to the centimetre & see if you are satisfied with the outcome. Just maybe we have to rely on God for His Abilities & Wisdom that are far more superior to ours.

Peter, clearly the word 'pillars' in 1 Sam 2:8 should be understood as 'foundations', just as a house that is supported on pillars firmly attached to its foundations. It can't be understood as literal pillars - it wouldn't make any sense. Therefore, the foundations are not literal but speak about all that God had decreed & purposed for mankind (see previous verses).

Psalm 5 is David's prayer to God, as one who stands in awe of God (v 7) & trusts Him for his protection (v 11). Unlike those who won't bend their knee to Him & all they do is wickedness which is abhorrent to God. Remembering, David suffered much from the plans & acts of wicked men against him.

So vv 5 & 6, is David's affirmation about the wicked people's stand before God as compared to those who are righteous. These wicked people are characterized by foolishness (Heb. word is 'holelim' = madmen). They foolishly oppose & fight against God but in that day of Judgement they will not be able to stand (= be acquitted) before God. In the same way, all who speak leasing (an old word meaning, lies or falsehood) shall receive the same fate from God as would those who shed blood & are deceptive in their talk. So these verses describe God's hatred to all manner of sin, whether being deceitful & liars, to those who are quick to shed blood.

So Ruby, if you need, in your meeting, to also give an application to these verses, then you could emphasize the Holy character of God, that He sees all people & their wicked hearts, that nothing escapes Him. We may think that a 'small sin', such as a white lie or being deceitful about something is no great matter, but before God, every sin is abominable & deserving of punishment. The only way to avoid God's anger is to come in fear (awe) of God, humble, cast upon His Mercies & repent sincerely of our past actions. And He does forgive us because of His Son's death on the Cross for us, as Jesus was made the propitiation for our sins ( 1 Jn 4:10, i.e. God's Anger which was against us was put on His Son, so Jesus carried to the Cross, not only our sin but God's Anger as well), & God was satisfied by it & so accepts even the worst sinner into His Family.

That was a good example of Humility in action. I also see it as stemming from one's attitude about oneself. Most people would like to think of themselves better than others: whether in their appearance, their jobs, wealth, or achievements. That's one of the characteristics of the sin nature coming to the fore: that of glorification of self to the despising or minimizing the worth of others.

The perfect example of Humility is seen in the Lord Jesus ( Phil 2:3-8) as He first humbled Himself by becoming a man & then was obedient to a shameful death; He as the Word of God need not have had to experience any of this, but for the sake of our salvation, He humbled Himself. And then in Rom 12:3, Paul instructs them to not think of themselves as greater than others (this was in reference to use of gifts in the Church, but translates to every day life as well). So our position as Christians has to be one of taking the lower position so that our brother or sister in Christ may be the one that is given the higher position in our eyes. We then reflect that beautiful quality of the Godhead.

And to your question: "If the beginning of the earth was the first seven days of creation found in Genesis 1:2 - 2:4, then when did the fall of Satan occur?" This question is moot. There will always be theories when Satan's fall occurred. It could have been at some time after the creation of the angelic host ( Isa 14:12-15), maybe after God's creative Work had ended. It may have been according to the type given in Ezek 28:12-17, when Satan was already in Eden & from thence he fell into sin; or even in ( Rev 12:7-9) where Satan & his angels were cast out of Heaven to the Earth after Jesus ascended to the Father (though this option wouldn't work, as Satan was already active way before this time on Earth). So, I have to plead ignorance to your question, as the Scriptures don't give me a clear answer, though if compelled, I would lean towards the Isaiah description.

D.J., thank you for your response. I will still go back to Gen 1:28 for clarification, as this verse seems to be where my misunderstanding lies. Since you stated that, "The instructions given to Adam are completely different than the instructions given to the rest of mankind", I could only assume that there were some other instructions given to the rest of us. However, you say that the instructions in Gen 1:28 also applies to us, hence I couldn't work out, & still can't, what these other 'completely different instructions' are, since Gen 1:28 applies to both Adam & Even & us. So this still remains confusing. Hence, my mind got carried away, that if there were other instructions to other people, then who were they, if not the progeny of our first parents? Then the rest of your remarks on your Page 1 I would agree with, if both Adam & us received the same instructions & not different ones.

And I noted your comments in your Page 2. However, my comments to which you referenced, only applied to my wonder as to those 'different instructions given to us', then your further comments (page 2) had no direct bearing to them, & therefore I would agree with them. Your reference to the "three heaven & earth ages", I would say refer to the sky, universe & earth, rather than to the Heaven of God's Abode. Is that what you meant?

God created heaven and earth, by speaking it into existence. God knows all and sees everything.gog is naturally trusting because in all we do to please ourselves; we constantly forget about God until we need him. God is a jealous God,he constantly tells us through old prophets for him people to tear down the idols that man had made. And, when I say "hear the Spirit" I want express this: If we are "alerted" to the sin and we obey the bible instruction to leave this sin and claim forgiveness from God in the pray (with a decision to leave the sin), He hear you and forgive you.
