Thanks for your reply , it was a good read . In case you haven't been following the thread , my main point wasn't much to do with Jesus asking Peter if he loves him , that was the person I was talking to who was posting about that but no matter , I enjoyed your message and thank you for it . So you think it was just a coincidence that Peter denied Jesus three times and Jesus asks Peter if he loves him three times ? Bearing in mind Luke chapter 17 verses 3+4?

I believe that denying that you know Jesus is stated in the Bible as a sin , if we deny him he will deny us , so....Luke chapter 17 verse 3+4 ?

I do think that Jesus asks Peter three times because Peter sinned against Jesus three times by denying that he knew him and Jesus is giving Peter the prompt to repent of that sin so that Peter is forgiven for it . Repentance is never a game , it's a very real and necessary part of God's plan of salvation for us , in Christ .

Hello Lola4ever. From what you have written & not knowing all that you have experienced in your life, my first thought is that any person who has been truly saved (i.e. made an unforced conscious decision to depart from one's awful sinful state to that of longingly looking to Jesus for their salvation) is born again from God & receives His Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God indwelling you & ministers to you in every way possible; such as in your desires, needs, aspirations, when tripped up/trapped by sin, of counsel, encouragement, teaching, warning, and even discipline). Even at the tender age of 13, you should have experienced some of this & sensed the ministry of God in your life.

Now what took place later on (maybe as you went into your late teens & twenties) you would know, but my belief (even from my own experience) is that the Holy Spirit very quickly alerts us when the line of godly living is being crossed - for that is His Work in our lives. Did you ever sense this alerting & correcting work in your life? Even as the Lord spoke to a Church in The Revelation, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent". ( Revelation 3:19). Because Jesus loves His children so much, His discipline is always given in love & for full restoration. When a person who believes he is saved & has absolutely no sense of the Spirit's Ministry of guiding, convicting & drawing back into fellowship, then that person has never known the Lord, for He always deals with us as children & not as illegitimate. ( Hebrews 12:5-10).

From your submission, it appears that you have sensed this estrangement from the Lord but now felt that He has cut you off. I think that the Lord has brought you to this point in time to repent & return to your first love, having allowed you over the years to taste the world & indifference to Him & find them unsatisfying & sinful. He sometimes allows us slack, but He will always draw us to repentance & restoration. Is this you?

I have been a believer my whole life. I was saved and baptized when I was 13years old. I have not treated my salvation the way I should have over the years. For the last 2 years, I have been questioning my salvation. It has been very hard. At the first of July, it felt like The Lord was cutting me off because heart had gotten hard. My question is this, if I were saved, would I have felt that the Lord was cutting me off?

    Hello Jackieboy

To understand why Jesus asks Peter three times the same question one must examine the question itself.

Jesus asks Peter "Do you love me more than these?". These who? Many people think that Jesus means the other disciples. But why would Jesus ask such a question to Peter? Did Jesus use a scale for His disciples' love to Him? Did Peter actually love Jesus more than the rest? Did Jesus ask him to confirm his love to Him which was bigger than the others? If Jesus actually meant that it would had been an insult to the others.

The "these" is the ship, the nets, the fish, the material things, Peter's life before meeting Jesus. When they followed Jesus they abandoned their profession. And now Peter goes back and he drags 6 more disciples with him into that. But Jesus didn't call them for that, for going fishing. They had to be in prayers to receive the Holy Spirit. They have a mission now. The ship, the fish is the past. The future is their mission. "Peter do you love me more than your previous life which you left when you met me? If you really do love more than it then please understand that you have a mission now, to feed my sheep, this is what you have to do now, leave your ship away, I will take care of you now, didn't you see how mush fish you just gathered?"

Peter seems not to fully realize what Jesus is trying to tell him. Like us who sometimes do not get what God tries hard to make us realize, to make us understand what our christian life really means, what comes next when we believe in Christ. To abandon

everything that we love that may become an obstacle in our christian path. So Jesus asks him again and again until Peter finally gets what Jesus means.

I believe Jesus asking Peter 3 times was not because Peter denied Him 3 times and now had to cofirm his loyalty 3 times. I don't think that God plays such games.

If we love God more than other things in our life and try to live righteously God will provide for us the necessary for a living.

    Q&A "Path of life"

Q: "Wisdom has prepared a table and is it to which the Spirit refers as the supper of great God?"

A: You cited the invitation of the angel in the sun to all the fowls in the mid-air. Blessings guaranteed for man under the covenant takes care of all life forms."Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled./Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding."(Pr.9:5-6). Wisdom literature carries several instances so the ancient landmarks set up by her lead the simple to the way of understanding. Israel refused. "Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein."(Je.6:16;Pr.22:28). This template all laid out is a word wide web and it is called path of life. The indwelling Spirit is to guide you safely and prevent from walking into snares the devil has set up."Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."(Ps.16:11)

What you quoted arises out of the great controvery over Zion."Forit isthe day of the LORD'S vengeance, andthe year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.." (Is.34:8). The invitation to all the fowls in the year is deemed as the recompense for denying them their dues. God allowed the nation of Israel to their lusts but sent them leanness to their souls. "for ye have wept in the ears of theLord, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore theLordwill give you flesh, and ye shall eat." (Num.11:18,31-33)The quails sent by God did not help the nation but the fowls of the air would be compensated. Another instance was when Abraham made a sacrifice, "And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away."(Ge.15:11). Volume of the wicked does not erase their guilt but demand recompense. (Re.19:18)

    Q&A "Honey out of rock"

Q: Wisdom has mingled her wine. So the dregs relating to His wine establish Israel as wanting in wisdom?"

A: Not only the nation of Israel but whosoever has despised the blessings God has freely offered in his Son. The fools are left to their own lusts. They are like the vineyard planted it with the choicest vine. But when God looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. This is what the enemy does with the people called to be holy and without blame. They have become unfit. God laments,"The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever./ He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee."(Ps.81:15-16) Wisdom has already set the template the blessed of the Lord shall take. (" She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table."- Pr.9:2) When God undertakes you life the rock of salvation puts bread made out of the finest of wheat and honey on the table. It is simple as mourning is transformed into dancing.(Ps.30:11). Instead what do the fools do? They lust for the fleshpots of Egypt; Those "who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name," the Jews and the Gentiles alike shall be left with dregs while wine mingled by Wisdom is served elsewhere. In order to show the folly of Israel in rejecting the living God, he commanded Ezekiel to eat polluted bread,(Ez.4:12-13) In our times what our folly has done is what we eat, and micro-plastics have become lodged in our bodies. We have put the safety and wellness of our children to jeopardy The Spirit warns: "Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."(Re.14:12)

    Q&A "Cup of salvation"

"In the Psalm we have a cup mentioned .The wine is mixed where as in the vision of John wrath of God is without.(Re.14:10;Ps.75:8). Of what significance are the wine mingled and dregs?

A: The Spirit leaves no loose ends in setting forth the complete will of God. The dregs you mention is from the verse,"but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them."(Ps.75:8) In the vision of John we see the angel 'having power over fire' direct the operation. "And gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe."(14:18) These are to be trodden first in "the great winepress of the wrath of God."(v.19) The consequence is 'blood and not wine and it has a volume, "and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs." It is expressed according to the Law of the Spirit. Those who are assigned to the earthly Jerusalem (as against Jerusalem, which is above-14:1-5) the Jews and the left out church shall be made to drink from it. The dregs thereof shall be dealt to the wicked whether they like it or not. (14:20) The angel having power over fire we have seen in the night vision of Daniel."and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven,"(Dan.7:13) This fire direct from the fiery throne flows all through to the lake of fire,(Re.19:20)

On the other hand " For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same." (Ps.75:8) These are the blessings from the seven days stipulated in the everlasting covenant.(Ge.ch.1) This also has a motif that you find in the inaugural vision of John." and his voice as the sound of many waters."(Re.1:15) Gospel is like two edged sword, of mercy and wrath.

    Q&A "volume"

Q:The everlasting covenant in Ge.ch.1 as presented in seven days is consistently ignored as such by churches and is instead used to fight Darwinism. Does it not smell as deception from the devil?

A: Yes indeed. Firstly consider the blessings under heaven and earth that God in his Son has promised to each of us. A believer is planted by the rivers of water,- and nutrients come from anywhere in His kingdom. A child of God despite of pandemic "that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;" In eternity also it shall not wither. Instead shall be for the healing of the nations. (Re.22:1-2). Laws of Nature take cues from Law of the Spirit so trees of righteousness bring forth fruits ripened by the power and glory of God. Merely because we do not see the tree as blessed of the Lord does not mean a thing. The devil puts money in your wallet to gratify instantly that you can understand but how it takes wings and fly off and make you feel like the crypto king. It is not what you want to think off. How come? It is the kind of deception the devil has played over churches everywhere. Each and every day under the covenant fill in a volume that spread out and create support systems a word wide web which is from God.

One may ask how marine life under the day five (Ge.1:21) can add qualitative change to us. It is the same process as in nature. For example Phosphorus moves in a cycle through rocks, water, soil and sediments and organisms. Over time, rain and weathering cause rocks to release phosphate ions and other minerals. This inorganic phosphate is then distributed in soils and water. Plants take up inorganic phosphate from the soil. Off the coast of Chile the cormorant eat of anchovies rich in phosphorus and guano left on the rocks are brought back into the cycle. It is thus our volume of saint is determined to which time and place carry no meaning. Yet foolish shepherds are ever after the error of Balaam for reward.

    Hi Jackieboy 80,

The best way to get out of the Bible is as with learning to swim: take the plunge. The word of God is mighty but it is very user friendly. Begin with Gospels and read in order to understand where the story leads to. There are no loose ends with the love of God. It is expressed in terms of persons, places and events. When you take in what you have read it must be clear: no place is more precious to Him than your heart. Revere him for all His promises . Let not others mislead you with their ignorance. The word of God is like a lamp unto your feet. Walk by that light. May God help you.

    Q&A "Waters/fire"

Q:In Re.14:10 we read that wine of wrath is poured out from heaven while in mid-air is cup of indignation. But the torment is felt on the earth with fire and brimstone. What does this signify"

A:The three divisions set forth in the covenant follow the will of God. " For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness"(Ro.1:18). According to the command,"Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth." These vials are seven in number, so the wrath of indignations cover up down and across. It just shows the cup of indignation is not severally administered to the disobedience but his entire volume, where instead of blessings he shall be tormented. The blessed are the first fruits following wherever the Lamb goes. They are with on mount Sion.(Re.14:1-4) Like Lazarus signifying "presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb" we have the rich man in the Parable of Jesus in direct line of vision. "between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence."( Luke 16:26) This is the mid-air.

As with fowls in air and beasts of the field each division has its own motif. The last twoverses, "and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God./And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs."(14:19-20) The command number Four tells the wine press has been trodden according to the word so 4x4x1000 gives it as the just desserts for the blood spilled by Israel since Abel. ("That upon you may come all the righteous blood"-Matt.23:35)

    Q&A "Glory"

Q: God took only the rib,"And made he a woman." Does it mean the flesh was all yet of another?"

A: Not necessarily. For Adam claims as we read, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh:" (Ge.2:22-23) His certainty is from his position as the Son.("All things were made by him."- John 1:3-4). This supplies 'the bone' of his bones. The flesh is yet another. "All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men."(1 Co.15:19). Glory of this flesh is same for Adam and Eve since sin of one affected the other equally. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."(Ro.3:23)

This makes Eve was represented in the unseen world and when God framed the worlds by his word the glory of the woman was made to appear. It is thus we approach the sister/spouse conundrum.(He.11:3)

It is for this reason faith is called as the pure speech. The words may over the time become corrupted and the argot among thieves may pass around 'limited atonement', total depravity and ecumenism nevertheless duds. "For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent." (Ze.3:9) For this reason we have St Paul say, "But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son," and of this word made flesh we reckon glory and faith as two sides of the single coin.

    Q&A "Vision"

Q:Vision of Christ in the midst of seven candles (Re.ch.1) serves as a link from the night visions of Daniel ch.7. from night to day. The visions of John on the other hand serves Up and Down. What is the purpose?

A:The Spirit annotates the everlasting covenant in Ge.1 with this formula at the end of each six days, for example "And the evening and the morning were the first day."(v.5). There is no recall for the blessings guaranteed in the Man component so whosoever takes the call leads to the rest of God. In other words he has been foreknown and called to enter boldly therein. (Ge.2:1-3)

Visions following the cue already set by the Spirit at the outset, unfold the divine Will so these are set in POV of saints. For example the breaking of seven seals the events are delineated in heaven, midair and on the earth. We shall consider Re.14:14-20 "And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle." instead of the white horse, it is a cloud, (Ps.104:3) and the bow is replaced by sharp sickle. It is judgment time."And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice,"- indicating The Word, " for the harvest of the earth is ripe." In v.16 "And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped." we see he is none other than Jesus Christ who fulfils the will of his Father. Sickle serves as the sword and it is his word that goes out of his mouth. (1:16)

vv.17-18 take place in mid-air. The same event simultaneously, fulfilling the command from the man "one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown,"(v.14)

vv.19-20 "And the winepress was trodden without the city," It is about the earthly Jerusalem they also have a volume. "and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs." (4x4x1000)

I don't understand the use of extra embellishments added to the scripture .

I give my explanation of my understanding of what I think when I read those two passages . You can ignore my explanation , read the two passages as I said , one after the other , and see what you think .

Yes , of course Jesus is reinstating Peter , as you rightly said . You also said this was the traditional teaching , is the traditional teaching not an extra embellishment ?

All words that are not scripture are extra embellishments , or maybe they are explanations of the person who is giving them .

Explanations ? Embellishments ? You may choose the right word , you can also choose to ignore my embellishments , read the two passages for yourself and make your own mind up . I am genuinely sorry if my words have offended you , I thought that I was just explaining my thoughts on these two passages and how I see them as being linked . Please forgive me .

I never said that when Jesus asks Peter if he loves him three times , that this incident wasn't connected to Peters three times denial of Jesus . I wouldn't say that because it's so obviously true .

I don't seem to be able to win on this site . If I just give people scripture references , no one seems to understand why I gave them without some sort of explanation . If I do try to put a bit of exposition in there to try to make myself clearer and explain why I say what I do , I'm doing wrong also .

I'm sorry you don't see it my way . Maybe I'm way off the mark here . Good bye and may God bless you all .

    Q&A "Sister/spouse"

Q:"It seems to me that the Spirit introduced Sarah in the allegory of two covenants (Gal.4:22-31) for a purpose. The Spirit has given her place among heroes of faith (He.11:11-12) even as equal with Abraham?"

    A:

First of all consider the position of Eve in relation to Adam. When God brought her to the man what does he say? "And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." (Ge.2:22). She is a sister, so to speak. Adam awakened from his deep sleep has the foreknowledge. It is the Law of the Spirit.

Besides she is an entity in her own right. In the preceding verse we read, "And theLordGod caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;" What does it mean? It sets the woman on her own standing and she is the mother of all living by the same rule concerning man in the everlasting covenant. She is after the likeness of Wisdom,"heLordpossessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old./I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was."

By the same token she is created 'after our image' with body spirit and soul. This she was predestined as the Mother of all living. Sarah was sister as well as spouse as to merit mention. Her faith worked even as his.

Just some thoughts on Revelation 12, it covers the past and the future up to the beginning of the 3.5 years of tribulation.

    Part 1

Revelation 12:1-5 A wonder in heaven a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet. Genesis 37:9-10 With Joseph is the 12 stars, the Sun, the moon, Jacob, and the mother represent Israel, the same woman all through this chapter to verse 17.

This is before the birth of the man-child, we see this woman represents Israel and the righteousness of the ancient fathers and prophets who labored through the years, and persecutions, as they groaned and longed for the promised Messiah, the promised seed of Abraham. The righteous physical Israel longing in pain for their coming Messiah represents the Woman in birth pain, Isaiah 26:17-19 Micah 4:9-10.

Another wonder in heaven is the red dragon/Satan who cast a third of the stars/angels to the earth this will happen in the future. The dragon stood before the woman to devour the child. Satan through Herod and the Roman empire tried to kill Jesus as soon as He was born, Matthew 2:13-16. Israel birthed the Messiah/Jesus through the tribe of Judah who will rule the nations with a rod of iron Revelation 2:27 Revelation 19:15.

After Jesus's resurrection, He was caught up to God and his throne, Ephesians 1:20-21. Verse 6 is what the woman will do after Satan and his angels are cast down to this earth, for 1260 days we see the same event in verse 14 a time and times and half a time, this is 3.5 years to be in the future. God will preserve a remnant and give a place of special divine protection for His people during these 3.5 years,

Just some thoughts on Revelation 12 it covers the past and the future up to the beginning of the 3.5 years of tribulation.

    Part 2

Revelation 12:7-10 We have the war in heaven and Satan and his angels are cast out of heaven down to the earth and will not have any more access to heaven.

Verse 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Is this the angels that overcame Satan and his angels? No. This is about us who are here during the tribulation, we overcome because of the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony and loved not our lives unto death.

The Greek word here translated overcame is nikao meaning to conquer, prevail, victorious, overcome. Perseverance, and faith that is referred to many times in Revelation, Rev. 1:3 Rev. 1:9 Rev. 2:26 Rev. 3:12 Rev. 7:14 Rev. 14:12 Rev. 21:7, and more. We who are living will be here, the blood Jesus shed for us, our faith, and the word of our testimony we will overcome even if we face death, and many will, Rev. 13:15.

Verses 12-17 there is rejoicing in heaven but a warning to those who are here on earth, do we take this warning to heart, horrific times are coming, and many are looking to be taken out but Scripture does not support that. The devil knows his time is very short and he has great wrath.

Satan persecutes the woman/Israel trying to keep the kingdom from being set up, preventing the fulfillment of the promises to Abraham and David. The wings of a great eagle symbolize it will give a swift escape, to her place wherever that may be, Hosea 2:14-15, but it is for the same amount of time as in verse 6 a time and times and half a time, the 3.5 years of tribulation.

Satan the serpent will try to wash Israel away with a flood, but the earth swallows it up. This flood could be a wave of water or more likely an invasion of an army.

Just some thoughts on Revelation 12 it covers the past and the future up to the beginning of the 3.5 years of tribulation.

    Part 3

Satan then goes after the remnant of her seed those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. The remnant of her seed is the faithful people here when the tribulation starts. Like the ones before us who have been persecuted and killed, the fathers and prophets, and after Jesus the thousands upon thousands who have been tortured and killed in the name of Jesus, why would the last be spared when the first was not?

This starts the 3.5 years of tribulation as we see in Revelation 13, in the original text it is Satan standing on the sand of the sea to give his power, his seat, and great authority to the beast. We see in Rev. 11:7 and Rev. 17:8 that this is the bottomless pit. There are not seven years as some say we see when Satan is cast down and the beast rises, he is given only 42 months, and that is 3.5 years Revelation 13:5. It all starts when Satan is cast down the short time he has is 3.5 years.

The end of the 3.5 years will be when the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled, Luke 21:24 Romans 11:25 Revelation 11:2. Then the second coming of Jesus, Matthew 24:29-31 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 Revelation 1:7 Revelation 3:11 Revelation 19:11-16 Revelation 22:12.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

This is what is coming, everyone will be tempted to take the mark of the beast, Jesus will give us if we are here the strength to say no even if we face death. Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelation 15:2

I need support, and all of the verses, and explanations that i can get against tattoos, that are in the Bible. Any help is welcome! Thank you!
