Those who deny a pretribulation Rapture of the church simply don’t understand the Scriptures or what the grear tribulation is or who itks for. It’s the time of Jacob or Israel’s trouble, Daniel’s 70th week. It’s not for the church.
  • Obbie Beal on Luke 12 - 7 years ago
verse 25 Jesus address the ‘sin of worrying’ by asking us a question: 25 And which of you ‘with taking thought’ can add to his stature one cubit?

I quote"Thus the Lord preserved David whithersoever he went"This gives me a clear depiction that ,the LORD is my life. The one who is ever present preserves me.He is my victor, thus I should humble myself and trust in Him wholeheartedly.
  • Marilyn on Psalms 37 - 7 years ago
I love the 37th Psalm. It is rich with promises for me. When people treat you wrong, their day will come. They will
be consumed and never to return . Oh how good to be hid in Christ Jesus. I could just go through this Psalm and
find hope and blessings for me if I hold on. This Psalm covers everyone and their children. Fret ( don’t worry), God
sees them, you and I. I want to mark Perfect Jesus
  • Rosa kinsee on Psalms 54 - 7 years ago

What a good prayer for GODS chosen elect to ask of the MOST HIGH - Verse 25 - Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
  • Bob Wright on Matthew 3 - 7 years ago
The answer is contained in that verse: "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."

Simply put, it pleased the Father for Him to be baptized.
  • Gary Olsen on Ezekiel 23 - 7 years ago
In verses 25 and 27, God really reveals his rage. Because the Israelites were like wild asses in the wilderness snuffing up the wind in search of a new idol to bow down to ( Jer. 2:24), he would take away their nose and ears and eyes. In other words, they would be so devastated by the armies sent against them, that their idolatry would be destroyed with them.

    Matthew 1:20
“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

    Luke 18: 38
And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David,
    have mercy on me.

42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight thy faith has saved thee.

  • Obbie Beal on Luke 12 - 7 years ago
verse 24, JESUS teaches us (again) to consider /think about How Jehovah /GOD faithfully provides all the 'needs' of birds; then JESUS reminds us how much more important we are to GOD than birds, therefore GOD shall provide our 'needs' also.
  • Doyinyem on Psalms 104 - 7 years ago
Truly, the Lord God is supreme. He is in total control. Let all therefore submit and worship Him.
Only God can be attributed those claims; therefore, it’s God’s sovereignty that makes Him superior to all other gods and makes Him, and Him alone, worthy of worship.
  • Terri on Psalms 23 - 7 years ago

  • Lela on Matthew 3 - 7 years ago
Because Jesus was born in the flesh and the day of his baptism God spoke this is my beloved son his flesh was buried and rose in the Spirit of God (reunited); it was not until he came up out of the water that God spoke. He is our example and baptism is in all obedience signifying death of the flesh, washed in the water, in the name of the Father, Son who was born in the flesh, and Holy Spirit.
  • Gary Olsen on Ezekiel 23 - 7 years ago
God had revealed himself to his people through his servants like Moses; but still they brought the idolatry of Egypt with them to the land that God had promised to them. And they took up new gods from the people of the lands around them. In verses 22-24, God's punishment for their idolatrous practices was to bring all of their lovers or the people they practiced idolatry with against them.
  • AWoman on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
I believe all that GOD says. Chapter 1 just makes it so plain and understandable. Male and Female and all creation was made opposite sex. There would be no you nor I if it were not male and female. God is who HE is and I am more than GLAD that HE is GOD...:)
  • Skybounder on Proverbs 3 - 7 years ago
Verse 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Have you ever been away for years from a place you used to frequent and people have forgotten your name? A reminder to me to visit "mercy and truth" often so they're familiar with you and recognize you.

Every day we should live these scriptures. We need to wake up in the morning making a joyful noise cause he counted us worthy to wake up each day. We should Bless the LORD name each and every day.
  • R.f.B on Psalms 11 - 7 years ago
To me it's a warning this Psalms meaning that God hates wickedness in both the righteous and the wicked. We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. So I better make sure not to think more highly of myself over anyone that's saved or unsaved. Walking in Jesu's footsteps, always be humble and kind.

As a Bible instructor for grade school students from ages 6-12, I am convinced more than ever, that I must tell them of "The Great Commission". I tell my students that Matthew 28:16-20 is in my opinion the central focus of the Bible. The students are required to recite this passage throughout the school year which happens to be year round.

    Sincerely,
    Diana Hill-Birl

"...above all these things put on charity,3:14" "Charity...beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth." 1Cor.13:4-8; "3:14 ...the bond of perfectness", capsules the essence of The Godhead and the Word; God is Love. Love sent His Son to Calvary that we may have eternal life, because of this Love came the Comforter--the Spirit of Truth.

  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Matthew 3 - 7 years ago
IF ye humbled thy hardened heart, confessing thy sins, repenting of all thy wickedness (with a broken heart and contrite spirit;) ye would not be asking such things. IF ye are not antichrist, ye shall confess (in newness of Spirit,) that Jesus Christ [is] come in the flesh [and] believe in thine heart that GOD has raised him again from the dead, being born again, reconciled to GOD in Christ Jesus.
