I must admit that reading chapters with names like these gives me such a headache, then I realized that I was being self-centered and selfish. Our God has given us the means to understand and prove to our own future generations where the authority comes from.

I pray the psalms because it's the word of God witch is the sword of the spirit. It was the Lord that taught me to pray this way because things are changing in our world. Another way is to read your word 2 hours a day. For protection, also.

Boy this chapter hit me like a ton of bricks a couple of years ago : I was always told growing up in church to read the Bible daily yet verse three says we aught to be meditating on his Word day and night not just once a day and if we do what we do shall prosper !!! I read psalms 91 and psalms 118 back to back for protection. Two hours a day back to back. Meaning read psalms 91 than turn the page and read psalms 118 than turn the page back to psalm 91 and read than go back to psalms 118. Do this for two hours a day for protection.

One of the most important verses in this chapter is 16 which say that the Lord shut Noah in. God gave Noah and his lot protection and shut him in. If the arc is shut from outside they have to wait for God to open from outside when it is safe to do so. God is patient with us. We need also to learn patience from Him.
