i am some what hesitant to comment i feel humbled among well versed people of the scriptures the problem that i have is i dont beleive in having a social meal in the church. maybe i am over looking something but when Paul says what dont u have houses to eat and in . seems to me he correcting 2 errors they were guilty of making a common meal out of the Lords supper.eat at home not in the Lords hous

Your statement about the angels sleeping with women to produce the giants is not supported by Scripture. You need to supply a verse that says God gave the angels the ability to pro-create. In Judaism "Sons of God" usually refers to the righteous, i.e. the children of Seth.

I love verses two and three. There's a law of marriage just like there's a law of gravity. We're do good not to break either one of them.

I don't know how hot fervent heat is but I'm glad I won't have to experience it because I'll already be in heaven with the LORD

I once went to a very nice restaurant and the waiter for our table never missed anything. If our glass was low he was already refilling without a word spoken. How? In a discreet place nearby he stood intently observing us and our table. He knew (as in vs. 2) us well enough to the point that he could see that subtle 'signal of the hand.' Are our "our eyes wait[ing] upon the LORD our God" like him?

This commandment was before we were under God's grace. This was the Mosaic law, but we are no longer operating under the law but under grace. Therefore, that changes everything. Now women are allowed to preach and do whatever God has called them to do. Praise God.
