I believe this chapter applies to past and present. All the verses can also be associated with today's society. Because of our disregard for the laws and commands of The Almighty, we will all come to know him before the end of this existence we call life.

Man thougths are not God thoughts, so I say unto you wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord!!!

Wisdom of God is the principle thing : The wisdom of God is how to live my life : To also get understanding to know how to apply His wisdom to my life is even better I will be very happy !!!

God has blessed us so much and given us the earth as our inheritance, so as christains we need to take hold and charge, let us all tap from it.

I believe that if you have the holy spirit within then you will have sound wisdom and discretion.

Because wisdom is a gift of the spirit so anyone who has it is a blessing.And getting wisdom also gives understanding ,Amen

lord i pray and i declare in the name of Jesus that i have gods supernatural wisdom and understanding, let he who lacks wisdom simple ask for it and God gives it freely

Whenever i read this chapter, i am reminded of the protection of God upon my life especially against my enemies. my enemies are always struggling to hurt me but will never succeed in the name of Jesus

This has always been one of my favorite chapters in the bible. It has good teachings mostly for women. I love it!!!!

Isaiah is a very powerful book. It's a must read!

Adam and his wife were driven from the garden, because what they did to their character and nature by sinning, made them unfit for the presence of God. God made life on earth, male and female; God identifies Himself in the masculine, but is Spirit: "That which is of the earth, is earthy...there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." They do not marry in heaven, but are like the angels.

BSP; I like verse 16 also! The one thing the devil and his seed can't stand, is our election of God. Its interesting how when we start to speak of wisdom and righteousness and judgment, the hostility rears up its head and strikes like a viper! The Law of our God is in our heart; none of our steps shall slide: but they that seek our souls to destroy them, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

VV.38 and 41: repent and be saved, baptized, and they received the Holy Ghost. No speaking in other languages needed that day. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Speaking another language is a sign to unbelievers, not believers.

The Prince of the power of the air. V.6. All the power and the glory of the world has been given to satan. And he gives them to whomsoever he will. Understanding that, we can see how evil is being given out in the world today. To gov. officials, media, etc. Satan is free to distribute the power he has been given.

There's a lot of misunderstanding about the Law and the [so-called] Old Testament, with many Churches. Jesus Himself taught us, that until heaven and earth should pass away, not one yode or tittle could pass away from the Law, till all be fulfilled; and that He came not to abolish the Law, but to completely make full! When we have His grace, it will show His holy character in our life, for Law.

Cindyt; there are many places which speak about who will sit on thrones in the coming kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, will sit upon the throne of His glory over all the earth. David shall be raised up to sit upon his own throne, under the Lord, along with the Apostles, and Prophets, and Saints; to whom God will give the kingdom. Mt 19:28-30; Rev 20:4-6; Dan 7:27; etc.

The heavens declare the glory of the Lord and the firmament His handy work day unto day they speak of His splendor majesty and awesome knowledge. We worship you today Lord in the beauty of Your holiness. God is so good, faithful, loving and kind. He is so amazing, righteous and holy. He is powerful mighty and wonderful. Let everything that has breathe praise the Lord. We love you our King Jesus

The wood devoured more suggests divine intervention in the battle. God would help us to fight our battles if we invite Him in total submission.

Sis. Kath, sorry, but Paul was not talking to baby Christians. If we read the whole context of the letter, they have had a significant amount of time, and been very blessed favor from God, with great Teachers. Also, if we look at the record written by Luke, in Acts, they should have been MUCH FARTHER ALONG, for the grace bestowed on them! The point is, that we must abide in Christ, or wither away.

You have to give God all your heart.

God expressed his displeasure with the nation of Israel because they weren't sincere in their worship. Jehovah is not pleased with hypocritical worship.

Some of you guys (Michael and others) need to read the New Testament specifically the book of Hebrews, to fully understand why all these ordinances were the Old Testament were given. It explains that much of this was symbolic and was foreshadowing walking with The Holy Spirit and walking with Christ's nature living within you.

Verse 2 gives good advice regarding making a budget and regarding our donations we may give. It's good to take care of these things first and then any that we may have left over can be used for other purposes.
