Jesus the son of God was also God in the flesh. notice the last line in John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (THE WORD WAS GOD).. now drop down to John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The Word was God and the Word was made Flesh(Jesus)
now read Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Here it is prophesying the birth of Jesus notice what his name shall be called (the everlasting Father, the mighty God)
also read 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Here is says God was manifest in the flesh (how? Jesus)ustified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, who is preached unto the Gentiles (Jesus)believed on in the world(Jesus) Who was received up into Glory (Jesus) but this scripture clearly says God.
so not only is Jesus the only begotten son of God he is God.

I like this passage because it highlights more about how forgiving father(GOD) he is when we have sinned against him.

I tried to look this up in my KJV Bible and couldn't find it. Ecclesiastes has only 12 chapters in my Bible. Why?
