We must be born again if we want to see the Kingdom of God.
Before the day of Pentecost, the apostles had no POWER to do the will of God.
Jesus commanded the apostles not to leave Jerusalem, without the power of the Holy Ghost.
With man it is impossible, but not with God,for with God all things are possible.
We need power to witness,to pray,to understand the scriptures and to bear fruits .

THE PROPHECY OF THIS BOOK UNSEALED: FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND. This prophecy is sent by commandment of God Almighty. Read and retain for reproof, instruction and your salvation. The following events mark world descent into spiritual damnation, or hell: a Syrian President will visit the United States for what appears to be a diplomacy visit. During the visit, the US will experience large-scale blackouts, particularly in the northeast, coastal and metro areas. Soon after, during the blackouts the LORD JESUS CHRIST will save the faithful, children, teens, the destitute and others from around the world. Immediately proceeding this event US coastal cities and military bases, beginning with NY, will fall under nuclear attack from Russia, China and others. Cities will lay desolate with the remaining people devastated and the world in chaos. Anarchy, famine, enslavement and horrible deaths will ensue. Repent and ask JESUS to save you from this hell. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I believe Satan is the author of confusion, GOD is not the author of confusion 1 Corinthians 14:33. As also in all his epistles Paul's letters to the churches he established in the BOOK OF ACTS , speaking in them of these things, in which are hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest twist , as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2 PETER 3:16. These letters were established in the Book of ACTS on PAUL'S missionary journeys. Study to shew thyself approved unto GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Timothy 2:15. Acts 19:1-6. REMEMBER ALL SCRIPTURE IS BY INSPIRATION OF GOD! 2 Timothy 3:16. Read Ephesians 4:5, Galatians 1: 8-12.

Ps. 92:1 - (A Psalm or song for the Sabbath day); unquote. In the O.T. the Sabbath was a literal day; in the N.T. it is a spiritual rest, in the Holy Ghost - Acts 2:38; Mk.2:27; Matt.11:28; Jn 14:27 ('peace' goes right along with 'rest'); Isa. 28:11-12, "with stammering lips and another tongue" refers to the EVIDENCE of receiving the H.G. of Acts 2:38; Isa. 28:10 - "here a little .........."

    V. 1 - the 'secret place' being the Holy Ghost - Acts 2:38.
  • Irene123 on Malachi 2 - 9 years ago
To Rev. Autrey - I do not say this 'condemningly', but as an observation. I am not judging, as I believe you are a One God believer - and His Name one - Jesus ( Acts 2:38). But, God has revealed Himself in 3 Manifestations, not personalities, of Father (God), Son (redeemer), Holy Ghost (comforter). The ONE Name of all 3 - Jesus - Matt.28:19 and Acts 2:38, 4:12, and on and on.
  • Irene123 on Zephaniah 3 - 9 years ago
    V. 9 (last half) - "..... that they may call upon the Name of the Lord, to serve Him with ONE consent." Acts 2:38; Acts 7:59 (and saying, Lord JESUS.....). Stephen called GOD - Jesus; just as Thomas did in Jn.28:20 - my LORD and my GOD; he said this to - Jesus. He was a Jew, just like Jesus; Jews did NOT believe in plural gods. Nor did Jesus rebuke Thomas.

Acts 2:37. They asked what must we do to be saved. The reply was and is, repent and be baptized. Matt. 4:17, Jesus started preaching, Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. We surrender to Him. He blesses us as we walk with Him.
  • Ricardo - 9 years ago
Michael you must be baptized. The proper way is Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
This is how you are born again.
  • Ricardo - 9 years ago
And that's why Peter said in Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Who sets on what throne - is not pertinent to salvation. That's all God's business - AFTER we are saved - Acts 2:37 (what must we do?); 2:38.

We must be baptized in water in the name of Jesus to be saved.😇 I know this because I was raised in a traditional religion that said all you have to do to be saved is believe. Sorry , I can believe I am a grasshopper but does that make me one . Amen
  • Irene123 on 1 Peter 3 - 9 years ago
    To Lestie o 1 Peter ch.3 - This is only for your info'; it's not condemnation; 1 Peter 3:20-21; Jn. 3:5; 2 Pet. 3:16; Jas. 1:22-23; 2:17-18,24-26; Acts 2:38; 8:39; Mk.1:10; Matt. 3:16.
Note: the last 2 are the words of Jesus.
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
To Rodney- again; I know I said in my last message that it was 'all', but I did need to explain more of why I 'attacked' him; He is a pastor, right? I'm not angry nor indignant with him; it's just I was raised to believe pastors are to seek God for their guidance and answers; not their flock. The pastors are to teach the flock, not vice versa. We are DEFINITELY not to teach the pastors, 1pet.5:2.
  • Irene123 on Ezra 4 - 9 years ago
Matt. 16:18 - yes, "my church". Jesus' church, as found in Acts ch. 2. That's when Jesus' church began. Acts 2:38 is HIS plan of salvation - just as He said in Matt. 28:19 - in the NAME of ........... Just as the people tried to, and did for awhile, frustrate the temple bldg., so do people rail now against the TRUTH of God's word being preached. They want their ears 'tickled'.
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
To Rodney - Since you are assuming I attacked a man of God and could not 'hear' my tone of voice - nor discern my attitude - this is all I will say, except - I do thank-you for the response, God Bless you.
  • Rodney Adcock on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
To Irene123. It seems to me like your knowledge has you puffed up....Why would you attack a Man of God when he is simply asking a question about Peters nakedness.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 96 - 9 years ago
    V. 9 - I have to 'smile', or laugh, when I read this verse. I was raised in a 'pharisee' church, a mainline church. All strict protocol; no emotion, but then emotion was strictly 'boxed up' - tightly. Now, I'm in a TRUE church of Jesus Christ - salvation by Acts 2:38 and shouting praise, clapping hands, running the aisles in the spirit and beautiful songs, worship.
  • Irene123 on 1 John 2 - 9 years ago
To Jerry Parker - You've read 1 Jn.3:24. Now go to Acts 2:37-38 to see HOW we have His spirit in us. Notice the people said, "Men and brethren, what must we DO?" Living for God is not a 'passive' thing; you have to DO something physically, just as Jesus did; He did not passively die on a cross. He DID something to save us. And you SHALL receive; that is a PROMISE; God cannot lie.
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
Something I literally just now noticed - I went to ch. 3 and saw Peter's healing of the lame man at the gate; somewhere I read (not on here) that this was the Apostle's first healing. No, it wasn't; in ch. 2, after the message, "many signs and wonders were done ....."; the 'gate' healing was spoken of as a miraculous miracle because of their 'instant' faith, right on the spot.
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
To Bible Reader on salvation - repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus; do you include the 'evidence' of tongues in that .....?
  • Irene123 on Hebrews 1 - 9 years ago
    To Dominic B. - God is ONE. Deut. 4:39; 6:4; Isa. 42:8; 43:11; 44:6,8; 45:5-6, 21,22; 46:9; 47:8,10.
Jesus IS God - MANIFEST in the flesh, John 1:14 ( John 1:1 - and the word was God) 1 Tim. 3:16. Acts 2:38 shows God's NAME (Matt.28:19) is Jesus; not 'father, son and holy ghost'; those 3 were God's attributes; as a man is son, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, whatever a man is.
  • Irene123 on Titus 3 - 9 years ago
To MPHATSO - the 'more' you need is - ACTS 2:37-38. If you need more than this - then you're out of luck.
Acts chapter 2 is where the of Jesus Christ began; chapter 2 is the very 1st message preached in the church. All the books hat follow are to ALREADY established churches; they are instructions on what GOD (not man) expects of His people. There is an ORDER to God's word; it's not hit or miss.
  • Irene123 on Acts 2 - 9 years ago
To Jane on 1 Cor, 15:1-4 - Acts was the beginning of the church (Acts ch. 2). Everything after Acts was written to ALREADY established churches, they were already saved. The ONLY plan of salvation is Acts 2:38. 1 Cor. 15:v.1 - .....which also ye have RECIEVED (past tense) wherein ye also stand. They are now 'standing' in their salvation.
  • Irene123 on Acts 5 - 9 years ago
To Joseph on v.30 - as you see it; Heb. 11:1. Also, it says 'tree', so how do you know it wasn't a literal Olive or Fig tree, still growing in the ground? He was 'nailed' to something. but as I see it - that/s what saves us and is important: Acts 2:38 is our salvation: PETER said so (and so did Jesus in Matt. 28:19). The 'tree' is just something one uses as a distraction to those searching.
