Giannis, and Wkrimes, and other readers who participate in Biblical Studies here

Then,Giannis, you remain in your speculative and ficticious interpretation of the things which the own GOD REVEALED to Moses around 2500 years after Adam or around 1500 years BC,or exactly two Days and half of works, according GOD revealed to Moses and he wrote in GENESIS 1:3 to 13.TAKE A LOOK. Actually, the one whom GOD has sent speaks the Words of GOD, like Moses, and the prophets, and the apostles of JESUS,for GOD gives the Spirit without limit, and above all GOD sent my Lord JESUS himself, through whom GOD made all things, understand?

That said, your thinking is from a human perspective, a stumblingblock, not from GOD's perspective. In fact, the person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of GOD but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit, undeerstand? He who has the Spirit makes Judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgment.

In fact, the one who is from the earth belongs to the earth, and speaks as one from the earth. It's that. But the one who is of heaven is above all( Ephesians 1:3 combined with Philippians 3:20-21,among other Scriptures)for he testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony, but whoever has accepted it has certified that GOD is Truthful. For the one whom GOD has sent speaks the Words of GOD,for GOD gives the Spirit without limit.

    Hebrews 4:12-13

12The Word of GOD is quick-the Word is GOD,SELF-EXECUTING,understand?-,and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged Sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of SOUL and SPIRIT,and of the joints and marrow, and is a DISCERNER of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we must render an account.

Be careful or then get ready

    HI,

    Pray for understanding.

    It is written in

    Revelation 1:3,KJV

    3.Blessed is he that readeth,

and they that hear the words of this prophecy,

and keep those things which are written therein:

for the time is at hand.

My recommendation to all the Christian who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, those using this online tool. Get yourself familiarise with the Hebrew and Greek languages of scripture (interlinear bible) and if By the grace of God Study both Languages

-In the Hebrew the word God and Heaven is revealed to us (Human-Beings) in Plural

-Elohim =GOD which singular Eloah and in Plural ELOHIM.

-Heaven= eshmim which is the heavens in Plural .

-Therefore, when you Read in Genesis 1:20 you will be confronted with this fact God says Let us which is in Plural Indicting One Yet Three in the Scriptures.

-Mind you this Fact is found All over the Scripture and it is written in 1 John 5:7, KJV

7.For there are three that bear record in heaven,

    the Father, the Word, and

the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

(Time is at Hand we are living at the end of days.)

Repent of your sins and do not be deceive Amen.

    ACT 2:38, KJV

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

    Hi Wkrimes,

Genesis 1:1 The Hebrew word shamayim meaning heaven, heavens, sky, and lofty, is in the Bible over 400 times and it is masculine plural. The Hebrew word for water is mayim it is also masculine plural, due to ending in im. They are plural nouns but can be dual, as the names of people and places in the Bible end in im. Translating it into English would depend on the context.

Some translations have heavens, and some have heaven but what is Genesis 1:1 saying? Some say this includes all three heavens, some even put a gap between verses 1 and 2, but what beginning is this? The third heaven is where God's throne and the angelic beings are, they were already there. They were before this world and universe as we see in Job 38:4-7 so this is our beginning, not the beginning of all creation.

My understanding is this verse is the introduction to the creation of the things that can be seen that are temporal that one day will all be made new. What I see is God waved His hand and all that is in our universe and our world was created and it all was in darkness and chaos. Nothing was formed or brought forth into order, the light shined into the darkness, light was the first day, the beginning of order that we see take place in the following verses.

    God bless,

My main question is why does it say in Genesis 1:1 " In the beginning, God created the [Heaven] and the Earth" when in many older Bibles it says " [Heavens] and Earth" Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth/ 1:1/ The "heavens and earth" refer to the universe as we know it (i.e., the sky above with all that is in it and the earth below). There is no one word in Hebrew for "universe." This is a figure of speech (merism) for totality; God created everything. The translators often rendered the Hebrew word 'eres (earth) as "land." By translating it this way we can see that Moses wanted his readers to realize that God created and therefore owned all land (cf. 12:7 and all subsequent references to the Promised Land; Ps. 24:1).[24]

Genesis 1:1 is The beginning of the beginning God created the Heaven AND the Earth. But in verse 2 something is amiss. It's void AND empty and there is darkness over the face of the deep AND God's Spirit is moving UPON The face of the waters searching searching searching Prophecy reveals THAT something happened between Genesis 1:1-1:2- The scriptures are complete but our human reason can't understand the work that God makes form beginning to end. Ask yourself this. Where did darkness come from? Where did the deep come from? Where did the waters come from AND why was it all void AND empty? Enough for NOW. Chee on THAT for a spell

    Greetings in Christ JESUS

In fact GOD created the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd heavens(the 3rd is the heaven where Paul Apostle was caught up- 2Corinthians 12:2), and created the heaven of the heavens- 1Kings 8:27.

Genesis is a GOD's Plan to restore or of restitution of all things: Acts 3:19-21. The earth(not the Planet) was created when GOD said: "Let the WATERS under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the DRY LAND(THE CLAY) appear: and it was so". This LITERALLY fulfilled when GOD SEPARATED the seed of Abraham from thee reign of Pharaoh in Egypt and placed them in the Promised Land.

10 And God called the dry land earth(Israel); and the gathering together of the waters called He Seas(peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues in the time of Moses - Gentile peoples): and GOD saw that it was good.

    Hebrews 1:1-3

1 GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

    2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom GOD hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also GOD made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of His glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of GOD's Person(GOD is Spirit), and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

My Lord JESUS - the Greater Light, Genesis 1:16- the Word made flesh, came here in the fourth Day, around 4000 years after Adam, around 2000 years ago, and He said : My Father worketh hitherto(fourth Day), and I work - Jphn 5:17.

    1 Corinthians 2:14&16 :

14 - But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of GOD: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? but we have the mind of Christ.

Why does it say in Genesis 1:1 that God created the Heaven and the Earth? but in my older Bible, it says, In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth. I think we need to pay attention to what is being taken out of the scripture and what is being added to the scripture, why would it say Heaven in Genesis 1:1 but then it says Heavens in Genesis 2:1. Somebody is messing with the scripture to which will lead to confusion...

Yes thank you Ronald , so many people like to take a pinch of the Bible and a pinch of worldly knowledge and mix them together to try to come to some sort of understanding . This is a disaster , as Christians we must not look to worldly wisdom to try to find answers about human development etc . The Bible is The Truth , every Word of it and all the information we need is in there . May God bless you

    Hi Angel,

The held tradition is Adam and Eve are the man, male and female created on day six. It will be defended dogmatically, and for no reason other than that is what has been taught. There are only 5 chapters from the creation of Adam until the flood, 1656 years. There is so much we have not been told.

There are two Adams in the Bible the first in Genesis 2 and the last, Jesus our savior, 1 Cor. 15:45. Everyone living today is the descendant of Adam and Eve due to the flood where Noah and his sons and wives are the only eight humans after the flood and we all came from them.

The male and female on day six were to be fruitful and fill the earth and have dominion over the entire earth. Could Adam and Eve do this in the Garden of Eden, they did not have children until they were cast out of the garden, if this was on day six, after they had sinned, would God say everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good, Gen. 1:31? What does it change? Nothing, since the flood Eve is still the mother of all living, all before the flood is washed away.

Sin began with the first Adam and salvation was with the last Adam Jesus and what was before the first Adam we have not been told. We must study without preconceived ideas and our ears open to the teaching of the Spirit of God. Study the words earth and field. Could Adam and Eve fulfill the earth and have dominion over the entire earth being in the Garden of Eden?

There is more I could say but it does not change the plan of God, we all are descendants of Adam and Eve, and evolution has no part in creation. The teaching of man causes doubt, Truth sets us free, study for your understanding and your conscience.

    God bless,

    Hi, Angel.

There is only one creation of man.

Genesis ch 1 is the beginning and the time in days etc.

In which god formed all things.

Genesis ch 2 is an explanation of how and what Gods process was. We can see this in Genesis ch 2 vs 4-5

    4

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

    5

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Look at the words in vs 4 These are the generations (present tense)

Vs 4 again when they were created. (Past tense)

Vs 5 of the field before it was in the earth .key word being (before ) meaning prior to him creating it.

    Hope this helps.

May Gods peace and Grace be upon you.

    GB I love you all.

    AngelEverett:

Yes there is TWO creations of man.

The FIRST was when he made man out of the dust of the earth and breathed the breath of life into man.

The SECOND is when ALL FLESH and BLOOD died on the cross of Christ.

Three days later a NEW CREATION arose, Christ and his wife, EVE, taken from Christ's rib, bone of Christ's bone flesh of Christ's flesh, NO LONGER living by the breath of life, BUT, LIFE by the SPIRIT of GOD.

    God BLESS YOU!

So interesting in Genesis! In Chapter 1:26 - 27 God created man - male and female telling them to replenish the earth, be fruitful and multiply.

Then in Genesis 2v.7 Another account of God creating man. This time the account says He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life making him a living soul.

Not until verse 22 do we have an account of the creation of woman who God began with Adam's rib. Adam taken from the dust - woman taken from man.

So was there two creations of man?

In the beginning, i.e. in JESUS - GOD created the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd heavens, and the heaven of the heavens- Genesis 1:1, and the earth(not the planet), but the CLAY, the dry land- Genesis 1:9. Great mystery. By the way, in what heaven you spiritually are acccording to the Ephesians 1:3? Our conversation is in heaven according to the Philippians 3:20, from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, understand? By the way, "By whom He made the worlds".

The 1st world made by GOD through JESUS was/and is the 1st heavenly place established by GOD- The Old Testament.

The 2nd world made by GOD through JESUS was/and is the 2nd heavenly place established by GOD- The New Testament.

And the 3rd world? What does JESUS said of the 3rd world or 3rd heavenly place in Him to be established by Him? JESUS said: Luke 20:35-36KJV:

35 But they which shall be accounted WORTHY to obtain that WORLD(the Kingdom of GOD- Revelation 11:15 to 18), and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of GOD, being the children of the resurrection.

And the heaven of the heavens? The heaven of the heavens will be established after the END of the millennial Kingdom of GOD- Revelation 11:15-18 combined with Revelation 20:7-15.Then the Eternity will begin.

Don't forget:The heavens(The 1st and 2nd heavens) and the earth(Israel),which ARE NOW, by the same Word-the Word is GOD-are kept in store, reserved unto fire against this Day of Judgment(the Judgment Seat of Christ)and perdition of ungodly men -2Peter3:7 & 11-12:

11Seeing then that all these things shall be DISSOLVED,what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of this Day of GOD(the Lord's Day),wherein the heavens(the 1st & 2nd heavens) being on fire shall be DISSOLVED,and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

    SoloScript,

True, I have not found the word trinity in the Bible, and it is a man made word to explain the (3) that bear witness in heaven.

The bible tells us the following:

    Genesis 1:26

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."

In the above verse it says: "And God said, Let US make in our own image,

Who is God referring to when He says US? God could have said I will make, but instead He said "Let US make"

I believe that we find the answer to who the US is, in this verse:

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

There are three that bear record in heaven!

    The word Trinity meaning:

-the Christian Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

-a group of three people or things

People refer to: trinity, triune, etc.

There are (3) entities in heaven, God, the Son, and the Holy Spirit! Amen

The Word is from everlasting to everlasting, He has not begining nor ending. JESUS is the begining. The Word is GOD-John1:1-, The same was in the beginning -was in JESUS-with GOD- John 1:2. As said the angel of the Lord -John the Baptist - "No man hath seen GOD at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared Him". Isaiah 9:6 - Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. JESUS said: I and my Father are One( John 10:30), and All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth- Matthew 28:18.

Who knows GOD? Who knows JESUS? Even JESUS Himself said: No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal Him- Matthew 11:27. It's it.

    Hi Gigi

    Quote

As humans He created, we cannot attain to His infinite and boundless Holiness, but in Christ we will become perfected in the life to come to have perfect holy humanity without sin any longer. The angels are also holy and without sin, but they are creatures and thus not holy in the sense of being separate.

    Genesis 1:27

Leviticus 20:26, the word holy is the same for both mankind, angels & God,

    H6918--holy One, saint

Or qadosh {kaw-doshe'}; from qadash; sacred (ceremonially or morally); (as noun) God (by eminence), an angel, a saint, a sanctuary -- holy (One), saint.

1Pet 1:16 holy here refers to the same holiness---

G40 sacred (physically, pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially, consecrated) -- (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

Matt 5:48 perfect refers to God & mankind, there's not a different standard reveal here or the above.

    5046 complete, perfect, mature

From telos; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with ho) completeness -- of full age, man, perfect.

Matt 6:10 my Friend, its here & now !

you're speaking as one who has been seasoned in the discernment between good & evil & yet teaching things contrary to Scriptures, you started out good, but from this statement on, you degenerated, which make it all the more deceptive: giving an appearance or impression different from the true one; misleading

    Gal 5:9

you're putting a stumbling block before the young & tender one's ''babes" in Christ, whom God is leading in the Way of Holiness

God doesn't take kindly to this.

It would be wise of you not to teach such thing directly contrary to Holy Spirit of Scriptures

Friend; Ephesians 6:12 who seek to rule & reign in the hearts & minds of the children of men.

Studying Scripture is so magnificent. Thousands of generations have received God's faithful Truth!

It presses me deeply within by recognizing the Virtue In Strength seeing language has evolved so many eras, past and even now In our day, so deep meditation and prayer aids me to hear God's message.

    A firm foundation is {'knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture came to be of one's own interpretation, for prophecy never came by the desire of man, but men of Elohim spoke, being moved by the Set-apart Spirit. Kpha Bt (2 Peter) 1:20-21 TS2009}

In John 1:1 ( Gen. 1:1; Rev. 3:14 along side being lead back from Isa. 46:9-10) begins to point out the bigger portrait necessary to come to better understand Him.

    Before being born regenerate by (and through) Yeshua, I would read and not understand. Now The Scriptures (Genesis to Malachi) bring clear evidence that caused an ahha moment like Mosheh at the Bush that burned which wasn't consumed. ( Ex. 3:2-4). Isa. 46:10 also renews the mindset as written, {I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering - set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim - your reasonable worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim. Romiyim (Romans) 12:1-2 TS2009}

because { Messiah is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

    Irim (Hebrews) 13:8 TS2009}

among many others brings understanding to Yeshua meaning by the ancient tongue, means Yehovah saves. Showing they are One. ( said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I am."). Yohanan (John) 8:58 TS2009

joining God to be understood as ONE {And Elohim said to Mosheh, "I am that which I am." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Yisra'l, 'I am has sent me to you.' "

7 But we speak the wisdom of GOD in a mystery, even the HIDDEN wisdom, which GOD ordained before the world unto our glory:

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that love Him.

10 But GOD hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of GOD. (Even the hidden wisdom and mystery of His Plan of restitution of all things, the Genesis, describing His works of restoration of creation - Acts 3:18-24. Greetings in Christ JESUS, "Bennymkje"

"In the beginning God created the heaven(s) and the earth." Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of GOD(the Word is GOD, self-executing), so that things which are seen WERE NOT MADE of things which do appear.

In the beginning-in JESUS- GOD the Father created the 1st,2nd,and 3rd heavens(this is the next to be established- Luke 20:35-36, combined with 2Corinthians 12:1-4, and Revelation 11:15-18), and the heaven of the heavens. By the way, "the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto FIRE against the Day of Judgment (this Day arrived, that is the seventh and last Day, or seventh and last millennium) and perdition of ungodly men. NOTE: The heavens which will be burned from now on is the 1st and 2nd heavens, the 3rd will be established, and "unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath"- Matthew 25:29.

Furthermore, GOD revealed the creation to Moses around 2.500 years after Adam or 1500 years BC. JESUS, the Greater Light- Genesis 1:16- came in the fourth Day, around 4.000 years after Adam. John 5:17 - JESUS said: My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. According Chistian calendar from JESUS until the present time passed more around 2.000 years, so we are living in the beginning of first century of the seventh and last millennium or seventh and last Day, the LORD's Day. Therefore, GOD RESTS DOWN FROM HIS WORKS FROM NOW ON.

"In the beginning-IN JESUS- GOD -the Father - created the heaven(s) and the earth - earth here is Israel, still in the embryo, and not the planet Earth where GOD sits Himself - Isaiah 40- ,for Israel as a nation was created around 2500 years after Adam.

    John 1:3-5

The light shineth in darkness;and the darkness comprehended it not. All things were made by JESUS; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

    Greetings in Christ JESUS

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

About difference between soul and spirit, I also would like to highlight or point out the difference between HUMAN creation and other kind of animals. Genesis 1:24&26:

24 GOD said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind(may the Earth produce, or produce the Earth), cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. But about man,(v.26) GOD said, Let us MAKE MAN in our image, after our likeness: ...

If GOD had not breathed on man, this would be an animal like other animals in which GOD did not breathe the breath of life, in fact, that is why they do not speak a single word, even a letter, by nature.

I am a fruit of the multiplication that GOD ordered around 6000 years ago. I was born in the last century, but the order of my birth was given by my GOD millennia ago. I was born under His everlating Word of course. Job 33:4 -The Spirit of GOD hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

Having said that, I would like to highlight and emphasize that when GOD breathed the breath of life into man, He actually gave man the ability to speak with his mouth, and thus dominate the earthly environment. John 3:31-He that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth. So, he that is of above is above all.

John 20:22 - when JESUS had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:

Isaiah 2:22 - Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

Psalm 19:14 - Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

    Amen

Read with a Child's mind and faith. Take the Word literally until it is not possible, knowing that with GOD nothing is impossible. With a figurative statement, apply it to a literal situation. A person's faith will be key and will determine what is literal or figurative. Does it literally mean 'pluck my eye out?' Well if that's what it takes I would say yes. But just quit the sin business and keep both those good eyes. Looking up definitions/Origin into English) Looking in Oxford Dictionary, use discernment when looking up words online. Words are ranked on most common usage. Read the Bible from their perspective. More words and definitions have been added since 1611.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth. (Literal, or you stuck here)

1 John 5:7 For there are Three (Literal: 1,2,3) that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these Three are one (Figurative to Literal: They are God, One in Unity or One in agreeance, There at the Beginning, etc)

    Genesis 1:6-8 (1 of 2)

    The Second Day

Each day is with regards to the day, that is appointed for the Son and it shall have its own sequence continual progression of events till the fulness of times. This is also tagged as a pillar of the house that Wisdom built. (Pr.9:1)

God separated Day from Night, which marks the Day especial and apart from other days mentioned in the creation account. Jesus remarked on this day in these words, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day."( John 9:14) In another passage we know it includes both Father and Son. I and my Father are one. As for the works, he was specific, My Father works hitherto, and I work." ( John 5:17)

God named or called the light Day.(v.5) Here the Spirit is giving us the hint with regards to names. God decreed a day, -'Thou art my Son' (Ps.2:7) and with it his name is superior to every name in heaven or under it. He has given him "a name, which is above every name.' It brings in turn the significance of the expression, the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world. So we have to conclude that death of his Son was well established under an everlasting covenant and it has to do with the Fellowship of God with Man. Holiness of God requires the divine Will is holy, meaning it requires no correction or afterthought to settle for a Plan B. It is what we read in the following passage. ."(Ph.2:8-11)

The quote from the Gospel of John refers to a night and from the context it is clear that it is about his impending death on the cross. "the night cometh, when no man can work."(John9:4).

And God called the firmament, the heaven significance of which is in the face, The waters above interacts with waters which is below.

    Genesis 1:5

    the first day

"And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day" (v.5)

God called the light and not the day as we know the term. Its meaning and significance derives from the light, which is true, in whom is the fulness. This day is decreed for the Son. (Ps.2:7) This separation of day from night is about those who would be guided by Spirit obedience or by spirit of disobedience. The Gospel of John makes it clear. Light signifies the life of man who would abide in the Son. "In him was life; and the life was the light of men./ And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not." (John1:4-5) and "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil./ For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved./ But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God."( John 3:19-21)

    Hello, Dgjot,

    Glad to hear from you.

Most say that Moses wrote Genesis-Deuteronomy. He was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write not only what he experienced in his lifetime, but also Genesis. Did the Holy Spirit give him direct revelation concerning Genesis, especially about creation or did the Holy Spirit help him recall what had been passed down from generation to generation? I really cannot say. If it is the latter, then i feel that I must assume that God preserved the truth of what occurred as it was passed from generation to generation.
