why did cain kill abel? there had to have been some type of disagreement between the two that made him angry enough to kill his brother, it says and cain talked with abel.

Perhaps it's the word "man" that the emphasise is. Romans 8:14, Galatians 4:6, Hebrews 12:7, John 1:12, Philippians 2:15, 1John 3:1,2 , 1John 4:15, How sad it is when a living father says "see his face no more" or turns his face.

Genesis 3:8-10, interestingly, in this translation it says they heard "the voice of the LORD" they "hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God"

What's amazing is: Genesis 4:16, it appears even though they were cast out of the garden GOD's presence was still with them.

May I kindly ask how did you discover Cain is not in Adams Genealogy and missed Genesis 4:1.

Adam and Eve was told to be fruitful and multiply the Earth.

Genesis 1:28. They had lots of Children and neither are they listed in Adam Genealogy. I believe the Genealogy was meant to give the lineage that lead to Noah, which is the next story in Genesis. This genealogy also leads to Christ.

Adam =Man

Seth =Appointed

Enosh =Mortal

Kenan =Sorrow;

Mahalalel =The Blessed God

Jared =Shall come down

Enoch =Teaching

When you put them together you get a prophetic message.

Since the only people at the time were Adam, Eve, and Seth later , the only thing that sounds reasonable is that Cain's wife was either from Seth's line of generation or from the a line generation from other kids Adam and Eve had. Now you may ask, brothers got married to sisters? Yes that's right, it couldn't have been otherwise since all humans come from our two ancestors Adam and Eve.

Dear "Jeremie" we will probably never get an answer to that is my thought. Because the Holy Bible is the pedigree of Jesus Christ. He who will have all the glory now and forever.

Now faith comes by hearing the word of God.

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17.

So apparently they were instructed to offer what Abel offered which we find in Genesis 4:4.

"And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:"

This was a sacrifice pointing to the Lord Jesus Christ, who would later come and be a sacrfice for the whole world. John 1:29. "The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

Faith comes by hearing the word, so apparently Adam may have preached this to them, Abel demonstrated his faith by his offering. "Obedience and belief in what he was commanded to do.

Cain demonstrated unbelief by disregarding and disbelieving in what he was told.

Look at Gods response to Cain.

"But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him." Genesis 4:5-7.

Under the old covenant they offered up sacrifices pointing to one to come (Jesus).

The death of Christ ended that Covenant. read Hebrews 9:13-20.

Now we offer up ourselves.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service." Romans 12:1.

I had not caught that Cain and Able were twins. But after looking at Genesis 4:1-2,25 Moses (and the Holy Spirit) intentionally mentions that Adam knew his wife for both Cain and Seth, but not for Able.

Eve thought she had gotten (possessed) the promised seed of the woman from the Lord when she named Cain (meaning Spear, Possessed).

Moses (and the Holy Spirit) entirely leaves out any language about Able (meaning Breath) being the result of Adam knowing his wife or Eve conceiving. This language allows for Able to be Cain's natural twin, since there is no intervening event between their births. But more importantly it points to Able being a type of the seed of the woman born by the Spirit. That the seed of the woman is in view is confirmed when Eve bares her next son and names him Seth (meaning Appointed) and says "For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."

Anyway, I just find it cool how intentionally Moses and the Holy Spirit use words and word patterns that break to convey information that is easily missed by anyone reading it superficially (including me prior to now).

2Thessalonians 2:3,

Genesis 1:26-28, "them" "be fruitful & multiply" Genesis 1:31,

Note Genesis 3:24 "drove out the man" singular, Genesis 3:23, "from the Garden of Eden" Genesis 3:22, "the man" is become like one of us, to know good & evil" is this religion?

* Note, Genesis 4:14 ._._." everyone thst findeth me shall slay._." proof more people in earth. Genesis 4:15,

* Genesis 4:16, appears she was from Nod.

Likewise in Genesis 4:23, the man that was slain wasn't mentioned here.

If you read & study the WORD of GOD, many times you will notice names & several other details are left out at times. 1Kings 17:9-24, same Widow? = Luke 4:26, Luke 7:12, Luke 21:2-3, yet many names are mentioned, when studying often times their names come up again, helping understand a more vast picture. Genesis 6:1-2, is this also in reference to Genesis 4:19, ?

Note Genesis 5, generation of Adam leaves out Cain, Abel & all other people. Again: Genesis 5:1-2, Gen 5:3, "male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day they were created" = them, their, they.

when will thy end times come

The reason God accepted Abel's gift over Cain's is because Abel's was from the first fruit. Proverbs 3:9-10 Genesis 4:4 tells us that Abel brought of the firstlings of his flock. Genesis 4:3 tells us that Cain just brought an offering of the fruit of the ground. A pastor named Robert Morris taught me this and much more.

John 21:25, if Jesus CHRIST's acts could not be contained & HIS ministry was about 3 yrs. Then how could we expect on earth all the information about the days before the flood? Yet GOD in HIS infinite wisdom gives us more than enough.

Yes, see Genesis 6. It is plainly stated in v4. This is why God decides to destroy all flesh except Noah who is perfect (whole) in his gene-rations (DNA?). Also see Genesis 3:15 and notice there will be a serpent's seed and the woman's seed.

- "Now I know that angels cannot breed, so that rules them out."

The Bible says that the angels in HEAVEN are not given in MARRIAGE ( Matthew 22:30 & Mark 12:25). It does not say the angels do not have the ability to rebel (we know they do) and leave heaven to procreate with women on earth. Jude 4 references God punishing angels harshly who left their first estate (heaven) and own habitation. Why? Well, cross reference Genesis 6: they cohabitated or married and bore children with women against God's will. Remember the two seeds in Genesis 3?

- "The men who first began to call upon the name of the lord were called the sons of god. So could you clarify for me?"

Actually, this is a myth about the line of Seth. Genesis 4:25 mentions Seth having a son named Enos and then after that men began to call upon the name of the LORD. The Bible does not call them sons of God. Mankind lost that sonship when Adam sinned. It is only restored after the cross when one receives the Lord Jesus Christ ( John 1:12).

- So who does the Bible refer to as sons of God?:

"sons of God"

Referenced 5 times in the OT & is always a reference to heavenly beings directly created by God.

Referenced 6 times in the NT for the saved who are born of God.

"son of God" in Luke 3:38 is reference to Adam when he was created directly by God.

"Son of God" is references 46 times. 45 times in the NT for the Lord Jesus and once in the OT ( Daniel 3:25) is a reference to the Lord pre-incarnate.

Part 4.

The context and language of Genesis 2:7 clearly rule out any evolutionary processes. This is evident from the fact that: (1) man is alone; (2) God breathes into his nostrils the "breath of life"; and (3) he is formed from the dust of the ground.

Because Adam cannot find a helper (zer) who corresponds (knegd) to him from among the animals ( Genesis 2:20), the LORD God puts him into a deep sleep (cf. Jonah 1:5-6) and makes (bn) a woman, who corresponds to him, from his "rib" ( Genesis 2:18). The verb bn depicts the LORD God as "building" Eve out of the "rib" or side of Adam ( Genesis 2:22). It is used elsewhere in Genesis for the physical building of a city and a tower ( Genesis 4:17, 11:4; cf. Amos 9:6). The word rib (l) complements the word built, as it appears numerous times in the building of the tabernacle ( Exodus 25:12, 26:20, 27:7, 30:4, 36:31-32, 37:3, 38:7). This is a beautiful picture of how the LORD God constructed the first woman. The term built also compliments the craftsman's term fashion used for the creation of Adam ( Genesis 2:7), as the LORD God is now working with hard material and not soft dust. Eve, unlike Adam, was not created from the ground, but her source comes from a "living creature." There is no way to harmonize Genesis 2:22 with theistic evolution: it is describing supernatural creation!

Adam and Eve was the only two humans God directly created, What we see in Genesis 1:26-28. and Genesis 2:7. is a re-account focusing on the creation of Man.

Here in Genesis 4:16-17. we have the account in question.

"And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

AND CAIN KNEW HIS WIFE; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch."

In verse 17 it says " and Cain knew his wife " Notice what it doesn't say , Cain taken a wife out of the land of Nod. It doesn't say that.

I believe Cain already had a wife when he slew Abel. The scripture doesn't tell us how old they were, We know they wasn't babies offering sacrifices to the Lord. Centuries could have passed by. Cain married one of his relatives.

Genesis 1:26-28, GOD created, multiple men & women to fill the earth, subdue tak dominion over the fish of the sea, cattle, birds of the air .

Then HE formed Man & breathed Life into him: Genesis 2:7, this is a special account because of the details Genesis 2:8,9,15, interesting that this man was alone, Gen 2:18-24 note: Genesis 4:16, they were already cast out of the garden, Cain left the 'Presence of the LORD'' it appears he left the Holy to dwell with the other men & women in a land called Nod. HOLY means set apart, Gen 4:17, then they built a city & named it. So Nod already existed. Then you have: Genesis 4:23-24 why isn't the killed man mentioned? If it was of the same parents? Therefore proving these are the other men & women Genesis 5:1-2, Genesis 4:26, Enoch the HOLY seed begins to call on GOD, "Son's of GOD" Gen 6:1-6, "Son of GOD" Jesus CHRIST Luke 3:23-38, Enos = Enoch, Romans 8:14.

We have no idea how old he was when he slew Abel.

And Adam and Eve could have had hundreds of kids by the time Cain slew Abel. God said be fruitful and multiply, he certainly would have gave them the ability to do it!

If God had a second set of created beings why would remove a rib out of Adam to make woman?

Lets follow the logic being presented and entertain the notion of a second set of beings created.

1) Genesis 2:18. And the LORD God said, IT IS NOT GOOD THAT THE MAN SHOULD BE ALONE; I will make him an help meet for him.

( Now this suggests God's done with creating any other Men.)

God completed his work and rested from all he created here in Genesis 2:2.

and incase we missed it God repeats

himself in the next verse.

Genesis 2:3. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God "CREATED AND MADE."

What he do forget to make a second set of men and went back to work on the 8th day?

Genesis 2:21-22. And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Now if God is going to go back to work on the 8th day what's the point in removing a rib from Adam to make Eve?

Now if there was a second set of humans they would have never died because they would be cursed by Adams sin. W
