What I wanna know and what bugs me is, why is it that the other verse of the bible, besides the KJV, refer to lucifer as "son of the morning star " in verse 12. We know only 1 star and that 's JESUS CHRIS, like known in Revelation 22:16. So someone please help me

This indicate that whosoever rebel against God shall be cast into hellfire at the end irrespective of person and position.

"Above the stars " means above all the angels

The chapter speaks of a past but is also a future event. It speaks of the rulers of the world who are they? And interjected at the middle is the fall of Lucifer, not insignificant, for we know the real rulers are Lucifer worshipper. Many that say the are Jews are not Jews. In the New International Version NIV bible, Isaiah 14 12 says "How you have fallen from heaven,morning star, son of the dawn... " i think this NIV bible changed the original, as if it was Jesus says that he is the morning star or "Lucifer ". Don 't believe NIV Bible!

This verse casts away doubts about where the past and future Presidents of the United States are currently residing at right now.

Indeed Isa 14 12 14 there are many interpretations for the fallen one in these verses 1 he is satan because the person here is powerful to be any human king 2 this could be sennacherib or Nebuchadnezzar kings with power Their people looked upon them as gods These kings wanted to rule the world 3 This could refer to both satan and a human king possibly Nebuchadnezzar because Babylon is pictured as the seat of evil in Revelation 17 18 Pride was satan s sin as well as Babylon s Common to all three view points is the truth that pride willfully opposes God and will result in judgement

I'm quite shocked that people are reading Isaiah 14 and believing that Lucifer refers to Jesus! If we read the context of the chapter we see that if you believe this then you 1. Believe Jesus brought sin here. 2. Jesus weakened the nations. 3. Has caused all the destruction and death. 4. Will be destroyed by the Father.
READ in context! The devil is so much smarter than us, so smart he makes many believe that he is God and Jesus is the devil! There was a literal meaning to this chapter, but also a spiritual meaning which points towards the great controversy between Jesus Christ and satan: this same lie that he told Eve he is STILL promoting; Genesis 3:5.
"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
(Paraphrased, he told Eve she would be like God, as Satan himself believes he is!)

i was lost but found this means that lucifer is not the word for satan but for the HIGH PRIEST,beacause the MORNING STAR as stated in Rev. 22:16 shows that CHRIST JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY MORNING STAR

In Isaiah 14:12 the one fallen from heaven was Lucifer, son of the morning. In Job 1:6 it's written that the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. But it's not written there that Satan is among God's son. Now in Romans 8:14 it says, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". Therefore, God need not a wife and have sex like human beings to make children. In fact in Matthew 3:9 Jesus says, "And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham". So for God to create His own children is by spirit and not by flesh.

I agree that Is. 14:12 refers to the Morning Star and not to the devil.

No prophecy is of any private interpretation,for Holy Men of THE MOST HIGH GOD were moved by THE HOLY SPIRIT! lusifer is satan and not the king of Babylon. HOLY GOD GAVE 2 names to many in the Bible. how did the king of Babylon fall from heaven? lusifer made 5 promises that the king could not accomplice. he also changed all the new bibles so you don't have THE MOST HIGH GODS complete words. please do your homework and quit misleading GODS people.

I think it is saying that those who were taken away to Babylon captive will and are returning back to their own homeland and instead of those who oppressed them being over them it will reverse,and they will be over their oppressors instead.And that the Lord broke the staff of the wicked meaning He broke their strong hold over them.And that no one is above God in anyway.God is the way the truth and the Life.

"Properly translated" could also be the translation to "Day Star", which would ***ume the Sun it's self.

The falling to Earth that caused damage / dead to nations>

It may translate into light (Lightening) from the Sun falling upon Earth to cause great damage.

"The Light" is used as a description / title and as being "living" / "alive".
