Obeying the world system, will eventually produce the Mark of the Beast. If we don't get the mark, we will starve.

TAKING THE MARK for the sake of eating food, automatically assigns a DEATH SENTENCE upon us, and our soul.

When we become aware of THE DEATH SENTENCE, we must REPENT and turn away from that temptation.

The 10 commandments, and the 2 new Commandments Jesus gave to us: carry death sentences if we disobey even just one of them.

Almost everyone tells lies routinely. That makes us guilty. It may seem harmless, but it's backed up with a death sentence.

Thank God that Jesus Christ came to earth to be THE LAMB OF GOD. He took all of our sins: known, unknown or forgotten, and was viciously CRUCIFIED in our place. He was sinless.

Is that worthy of praise? May we be mindful that Someone had to be put to death for our sins. There is no such thing as big sins or little sins.

GOD CANNOT LOOK UPON SIN. Without Jesus we are doomed. We cannot have fellowship with God. He will not listen to our prayers if we walk in unforgiveness against those who hurt us.

If we will choose God, we will be so wrapped up and tied up WITHIN HIS LOVE AND THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF JESUS CHRIST, we will know the meaning of true happiness and joy in our lives now. We will never fear what death does to us. Our FOREVER HOME is with our Savior and Lord.

Testimony: when I found out how bad sinning is, I was standing on top of a chair looking into a vision of hell's gaping jaws in my kitchen floor. Twisted roots, screams. But Jesus held out his hand towards me. I was petrified but I took it!!

I was saved and delivered. Changed and filled with the Holy Spirit. He taught me to be free every day of my life. His Love makes us strong. Unconfessed sin separates us.

The MORE these verses become TRUTH to you, the more understanding you will receive from God's word.

Jesus is not a fire insurance plan, to get out of hell. He is Holy and Righteous. By reading the Bible faithfully, we know what He expects from us while we are still here on earth. Get your finger out of Genesis and read the Gospels of the New Testament.

Hi Annette At the time the prophet Isaiah was called by God to tell Israel to repent of all there idolatrous practices which were many and horrible. The term daughters of zion is a figure of speech to represent Israel. All of there modes of worship at that time were idolatrous pagan practices in Isaiah 1:13 the statement I cannot away with literally means I cannot tolerate it any more. Being the forgiving and loving God he is he tells them in verses 16-19 get your act together and I will heal you and the land, verse 20 but if you don't this will happen. Throughout the old testament the children of Israel were stiffnecked and defiant but God always keep His covenant and promises God is always faithful to His Word. God Bless

I am not bragging! When I say that for 30 years Satan and his goons (demons) have tried to frighten and kill me. I got mad and read everything available to fight back. Actually I found the answer in the Bible. It's when Jesus was on that 40 day fast. EVERY TIME SATAN TEMPTED JESUS, Jesus returned that assault WITH THE RIGHT SCRIPTURE. He defeated Satan on every assault. He didn't get upset, scream or call out the angels. He SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD.

That told me right there, I needed to load up on scriptures that would answer and defeat every demonic attack. If our loved ones get sick or any other reason, our ARSENAL OF SCRIPTURE will defeat the Enemy.

We need to be 100% convinced that what comes out of our mouth is STRONG ENOUGH to defeat Satan. Satan thinks we are brain damaged and that he can use the same weapons every time and that it will work again. He needs to get hit with the WORD OF GOD IN OUR HEARTS AND MOUTH.

"He sent His Word and healed them". There is NO condemnation to those who are IN CHRIST JESUS." Satan tries to convince us that we are dirty with sin, but we are covered in the Holy Blood of Jesus! Isaiah 1:18; 43:25. In Jesus, we are not guilty.

The SEARCH ENGINE on this website will find numerous scriptures on just the word, HEAL, HEALED, DELIVERED. All we have to do is memorize that verse and add it to our arsenal for Prayer, Intercession, watchtower duties, standing in the gap, building up hedges of protection.

Jesus Provides us WITH HIS PERSONAL ARMOR. Ephesians 6. Just like David and Jonathan did; they swapped armor in their covenant. Jesus took our weaknesses, sin, plastic swords and GAVE US HIS ARMOR. I'd rather go into spiritual warfare with His armor any day. Isaiah 26:3

Hi, I am thinking about this too as of course te thought brought out is not in the Bible, but what remains, God's Word is true. Adam and Eve learned this in their error. Likewise now knowing that God's Word is true, they were promised a future by faith which is hope. The same understanding conveys the sinner to faith and repentance in the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. Why would Adam and Eve not believe the Promise and live towards it in faith? They surely did and likewise any sinner can know that God's Word is true and be conveyed to Calvary where they can choose to surrender their works to finished work of Jesus Christ which is Hope eternal.

God is very meticulous when it comes to having a complete cannon of scriptures in the 66 books of the bible. Be careful who you choose to believe . The devil uses people to tell you there are missing books of the bible. But God is a able to preserve his word that the man of God may be thoroughly furnished. It is not a coincidence that Isaiah has 66 chapters corresponding to the 66 books of the bible. Isaiah 1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me. Genesis 1 And God said let there be... and the heavens and earth listened and gave ear and came into existence. The biggest division in the bible is between the old testament and the new testament. 39 in the old 27 in the new. So If Isaiah chapter 39 represents he last book of the old testament and chapter 40 represents the first book of the new testament then there should be a division between chapters 39 and 40 and there is. Chapters 36 -39 all talk about Hezekiah but in chapter 40 the subject dramatically changes and the subject is the voice of one crying in the wilderness which just happens to be how the new testament starts with John the Baptist being the voice crying in the wilderness. We are instructed to believe Jesus came 2000 years ago and said, "Repent: for the kingdom of Heaven (on earth) is at hand" Matt 4:17. At hand means within reach. If we were to believe that we are waiting for the first coming of Jesus that explains the condition of human kind today. It also explains why Christianity has failed to convince all people to repent and bring heaven to earth. It explains why we have 3000 divisions within Christianity when truth should be the same for all people. It explains why many of those divisions will marry and ordain the gays, even thought they know God destroyed S&G. Even though they know God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Jesus brings a law, the Law of the New Covenant and he tell us who needs to listen to the Law. Isaiah 1:10: "Hear the word of the Lord, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah. This is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord" When we put these lying children behind the pulpit we hear no truth. But Jesus will be the truth made flesh. His truth will heal our land.

Acts 17: 30, "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commanded all men every where to repent."

Repentance is the trans of a Greek word metanoia-mentanoeo, meaning to "have another mind", "to change the mind", "a change of mind in respect to sin, of God, and of self."

Rev. 3:19, "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent."

God does love all humans and he comes to teach people to hate evil and to repent." The day of the Lord will come. I just don't see any evidence that he came 2000 years ago.

The Books of Isaiah (& Joshua, which you enquired about) have only those verses in the chapters you mentioned. After the last verse you see, you will need to continue to read the Book in the following chapter(s). Are you asking this because you have seen more verses associated with these chapters? Unless you have manuscripts pre-12th Century, it would be impossible to get a Bible without chapters & verses.

The Work of the Holy Spirit

If we stubbornly persist in satisfying fleshly over-indulgence, sex sins, copying worldly ways of living, etc. we KNOW when we are falling away.
