Dejvi Kadivnik; Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. The Spirit said through David in Psalm 139:8 "If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there." Isaiah 40:22 "It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth.." From God's vantage point in the heights He beholds all the children of men; and time is subject to eternity. So too your questions!

MY LORD!!! ITS A BLESSING TO KNOW WHEN PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE WALK AWAY, TURN THEIR BACK ON U, AND FORGET ABOUT U THAT GOD, WHO CREATED US, WILL SUSTAIN AND RESCUE US IN THIS WORLD OF SIN AND EVIL! Isaiah 40:30-31 "Even youths grow tired and fall and young men stumble and fall but those who hope on the Lord will renew their strength......." LORD THANK U FOR SUSTAINING ME

Verse 15 shows that no matter how great and mighty a nation may be, they amount to a "drop of a bucket" in his eyes.

Ricardo Sonera - Here is a scripture verse for your question.

It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Isaiah Chapter 40 know that God is the creator of all thing he sit high and look down low and intercedes on our behalf. If you ever need God remember to cry out with your whole heart and he will respond with his Mighty power to do what we cannot do in our own strength .Before the foundation of the world Gen1 He did not need us then and he surely does not need us now. No one instruction and advise.

Verse 23 shows that no matter how powerful a high official is or corrupt a judge is, when it comes to Jehovah God fulfilling his promises and accomplishing his will, He regards them as insignificant. They can only do what God allows them to do.

I learn a lot from this verse, things that I am doing without considering that God can answer me with time.I was always waiting for God to answer me immediately, now I learn that I must be patient and trust in him. I like this commends and I will follow to learn more. As from today I will always wait as per 1 Corrinthians 15 :51 Amen!

All very true. However, The Word of God is not limited or confined to tge Bible. Isaiah 40:8 also speaks to the "still small voice" we as believers hear. This verse is all encompassing of every Word of God. What a joy to know and have consolation that God's Words both written and spoken endure forever. Isaiah really shows wisdom here and his definitively profound statement ensures us that since God's Words are eternal, so are His promises.
  • C. Jenny Cooley on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
God writes His word on my heart ...don't depend on some man's interpretation of ancient text. Get it straight from the source. Know God so well that you know when the words you hear are from Jesus or not. Faith and belief not argue about text that was altered before you read it. One example use if word man...interpretation of human or male word in ancient text...few references to women but should be more but word man used instead of human as to exclude the some humans. Man interpretation back then did not include woman as equal. I am a daughter of God and He tells me His word directly to my heart. Trust the word IS alive and if misleading interpretation arises God will let you know. Trust Him the Holy Spirit and the Word none of which are confined to four walls or any book. Believe.

  • Kathi on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
We have only to look at Jesus.....keep our eyes on HIM so as to not loose our way. When tempted to look at circumstances or ourselves turn, turn quickly and look at Him. He did not fail and nor will he ever fail us. He is our Shepard and He leads us. We just look and follow and look and follow until...............................................

Or maybe it was just 7 eagles flying.
  • Kati Falk on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
I saw 7 eagles circling today so I looked up this verse and I think God is telling me that if difficulties are coming to trust him to carry me through it on eagles wings - a wonderful sign/message - I will expect a wonderful flight and outcome, very comforting.

  • Delichia on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
This is my favorite verse. Waiting definitely requires faith! To wait means to stop, be still, don't move, hold on expectantly ,-wait for God's directions, but all the while, serving the Lord, read Bible, and pray. Trust God. He loves you so much!
  • Carolyn Fisher on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago

  • Rose on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
I really needed this word of encouragement, I was feeling very low, lost, and abandoned. Nevertheless, God's word lifted my spirit, and gave me the joy and reassurance I needed to face those who are used by satan; and the courage to stand.
  • Charlene on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
Praise the lord . sometimes our strength fail and we feel like giveing up.because we can't see our way .but if we just have to faith and wait.then god will renewend our strength we shall mount up with wings like an eagle we shall run and not faint .we shall walk and not be weary.
  • Debbie King on Isaiah 40 - 10 years ago
"This verse I so needed today..I will seek physical therapy and I will walk again and I will walk into church. Amen"
  • Catherine Freed on Isaiah 40:31 - 10 years ago
To wait on the Lord is to trust him to answer our prayers however he sees right. While waiting we should continue to read his word, pray, walk in faith, and serve him with our words and actions to encourage ourselves and others. Trusting him for guidance and direction.
