God does claim power to create calamities, but He does not sin, does not encourage humans to sin, and did not create sin in Adam that subsequently was passed on to every human born into the world.
if you cause enough trouble God will cause you some problems is what HE is saying; HE didn't create evil but HE can sure give evil people some trouble when they cause evil. GOD is incapable of evil but HE will allow calamity to come about. evil here is Heb. ra= has many uses here in this context is rendered calamity/tumult. GOD naming Cyrus before he was born, 1 of only 7 GOD named; subject here is GOD uses Cyrus for HIS purpose to cause calamity/tumult to subdue nations for HIS purpose as stated in Verse 1
These verses from Isaiah 45, verses 1 to 7, is a discourse to Cyrus, the Persian King, revealing Who this God is, the One who will use the king as His instrument. So verse 7 comes as a further reminder to Cyrus that this God is unlike anyone else: He creates Light & He has the power to remove it (once Light from a source is removed, darkness prevails - it's the default with the absence of light) - in so doing, it can also be read, that darkness was then created.
He also can bring about peace (or, happiness, prosperity to the individual or the world) & He can choose to remove it (thereby evil will become present & rampant (as a default state), with Satan's influence upon man & the world). Again, as with the removal of light, the removal of peace results in the creation of evil (turmoil, disaster). The Lord doesn't create the evil for evil's sake (He can't do it, He is Holy), but at times, chooses to remove what withholds that peace, thereby allowing evil to be manifested, thus it being created. The Lord has the power to do all things, which the Persian gods could never do.
We know that in the beginning evil was never in the world. Satan's heart was lifted up against God & evil was born. All the evil around us comes from Satan & not from God. And evil continues to abound as God stays His Hand against its raging tide.
I like John Gill's comments on this portion of that verse, Tammy:
I make peace, and create evil; peace between God and men is made by Christ, who is God over all; spiritual peace of conscience comes from God, through Christ, by the Spirit; eternal glory and happiness is of God, which saints enter into at death; peace among the saints themselves here, and with the men of the world; peace in churches, and in the world, God is the author of, even of all prosperity of every kind, which this word includes: "evil" is also from him; not the evil of sin; this is not to be found among the creatures God made; this is of men, though suffered by the Lord, and overruled by him for good: but the evil of punishment for sin, God's sore judgments, famine, pestilence, evil beasts, and the sword, or war, which latter may more especially be intended, as it is opposed to peace; this usually is the effect of sin; may be sometimes lawfully engaged in; whether on a good or bad foundation is permitted by God; moreover, all afflictions, adversities, and calamities, come under this name, and are of God; see ( Job 2:10 ) ( Amos 3:6 ) : I the Lord do all these things;
If God abhors evil and is always against it then why does Isaiah 45:7 state, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." I understand that God does all things at all times but why does it state that He created evil? Isnt that going against God's stance on evil? Thank you for your time and God bless.
"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded."
If so that's Israel.
Mathew 24:24.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
These verses seems to suggest the same.
Vs 16: Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Vs 20: But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Daniel 12:1.
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for THE CHILDREN OF THY PEOPLE: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
The children of Daniels people is Israel.
Israel is also called Gods elect throughout the Scripture.
Isaiah 45:4.
For Jacob my servant's sake, and ISRAEL MINE ELECT, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
Isaiah 65:9.
And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
PARALLEL VERSES.
Isaiah 65:22.
They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Jeremiah 30:7.
Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.
"Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?"
"Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?"
The Lord Jesus is our Savior and there is no Savior but God.
Isaiah 43:11
I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 45:21
Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
Those are good points brother & I thank you for bringing up Isaiah 45:6,7, as it's a passage that I've also considered previously.
Even though I don't expect others to read verse 7 in the way I do, I still submit it for your thoughts. The LORD says, "I form the light, and create darkness". The same LORD Who formed the light for the first time, the light which instantly covered over the darkness, dispelling it, can also by His Power, remove that light - darkness then prevailing.
The LORD continues, "I make peace, and create evil". In Hebrew, 'peace' is 'sa-lowm', which is of course 'peace, & also means soundness, completeness'. And for 'evil', the word is 'ra' ', which gives the meaning of both 'evil & adversity'. As in the matter of His creation of light & removal of that light, I wonder whether we could apply the same thought in that verse, that God Who alone can give peace & completeness to a person or to any part of His Creation, can also by His Power, remove that peace? The result being, the entrance of evil, the evil brought to bear on us by Satan.
I'm sure the LORD knows all about evil, its author, its make-up, & its ramifications. But knowledge of it doesn't imply use of it. I don't understand it as "dark thoughts" with God, rather that He permits evil according to His Knowledge & Demands: whether to remove the peace He gives, or allowing Satan free rein, or even instigating circumstances where evil is manifest - for His purposes. Maybe 'creation of evil' is what God allows (by removing peace) rather than arising from His Person, which could never be true of One altogether Holy. Blessings.
The tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil (opposites).
The word Of God is BUILT AROUND PARABLES, tree, or trees, is signified (represents something other than what it is in the physical).
Christ is a Lamb, TREE OF LIFE ETC.
The New Testament parables teach that we are the garden of God (Eden). Isaiah 5:7Ezekiel 31:8
The TREE of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil exist in the midst of the garden (CHRIST is this tree, as he is also the tree of Life) In the midst of the garden.
Colossians 1:27 ..this mystery ...CHRIST IN YOU ..
We have only knowledge of evil, until Christ (the Holy Ghost) releases, or causes, us to have the mind of Christ (then we sprout and eventually become a tree, also. Isaiah 6:13Ezekiel 47:7Revelation 22:1-2
There is ONLY ONE SPIRIT, but the KNOWLEDGE of that ONE SPIRIT contains both good and evil.
Genesis 3:22 ....the man has BECOME LIKE ONE OF US (the man has become like God) to know good and evil....
Before man ate (the words of God), which is the TREE of KNOWLEDGE (Christ), he was the Child of SATAN (no knowledge).
You are BORN AGAIN by THE WORD'S OF GOD.
1 Peter 1:23 BEING BORN AGAIN ....by the WORD'S OF GOD ...
Now Satan (DARKNESS)(lies, deception, falsehoods) has been DESTROYED and LIGHT SHINES FORTH.
Isaiah 45:7 I FORM THE LIGHT, AND CAUSE DARKNESS: I make peace, and create evil ..
Isaiah 9:2 The people that waked in DARKNESS, have seen a GREAT LIGHT ...
WHO IS SATAN?
1 Corinthians 2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are PERFECT (born of truth), yet not the WISDOM OF THIS WORLD, nor of THE PRINCES OF THIS WORLD (children of Satan living in lies, deception and falsehoods, children of death and the grave).
1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the PRINCES of this world knew, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the LORD OF GLORY.
Matthew 12:38 But if I (our God is a consuming FIRE) cast out devils (lies, deception, falsehoods) ...then the KINGDOM IS COME
I've never heard a pre-trib view taught that there is 3 comings of Christ, I always understood that there is the 1st coming and the second coming to Earth.
The rapture is called the "harpazo" in the Greek. meaning "to snatch away" or "to seize," The Lord don't come to the earth, We go to him!
1 Thessalonians 4:17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the LORD IN THE AIR: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
His second coming he comes to the Earth with judgment.
In these 2nd coming verses there's no mention of the removal of saints.
Here's just a few of many.
Zechariah 14:4.
Revelation 19:11-16,
Revelation 20:1-6.
Matthew 25:31-32.
The 2nd coming he comes with his saints.
If he raptured in his 2nd coming when he comes and make war against the nations who's going to populate the Millennium?
Omega is the last letter in Greek, the big O indicates the end, the last, ultimate limit, finish, conclusion, Omega is the finish of an event, without needing to be explained. We see Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, and the beginning and the end/ing in Revelation. In Isaiah 45:9-10 it is reversed, "the end from the beginning"
In Isaiah 46 they were hauling all that gold and silver and would make idols and pray to them and God was telling them He is the only true God, from the beginning until the things that are not done is done, Revelation 10:7. His counsel, His will, and His pleasure will stand. In the beginning, the bounds of habitation have been determined for all the nations on earth, Acts 17:26.
Jesus, Alpha and Omega, the beginning of the creation, Revelation 3:14 and Jesus will be the end when Jesus delivers up the kingdom to God and the last enemy, death is destroyed, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28.
It should be noted that "accepting" Jesus is something the demons do according to James (and rather sarcastically at that). He is feared among them for His authority; but not worshipped as they gave up their rightful place through rebellion that they were created for. Christ is Lord over all creation; as all will bow down before Him. ( Isaiah 45:23). In terms of Savior; all those who are called are chosen. This is in a sense Him "accepting us" as He does into the beloved ( Ephesians 1:6). Even repentance is a gift according to other verses in Acts 11:18 for one example.
If we HAVE heard of Christ; then we can either worship Him and fall on our knees; or reject Him. This is how man understands God based on whether the Holy Spirit has truly done a work in him. Often; though we don't read John 3:16 as something beyond a one time act; it is worded that way though as a continual ongoing process. A true believer; according to Romans goes on to be glorified ( Romans 8:30). Time is infinite with God's perspective; as many things were decided before the foundation of the world. We can see this in Revelation; as well as all will worship the Beast not written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world ( Rev. 13:8).
If we haven't heard of Him; then surely God will send a dream; vision or missionary as evidenced by many Muslims and others in the world today. Abraham was called and sent away from his pagan origins to the land of Promise by the Lord.
If we truly seek Him; there may be a process but we will find the truth. Romans 1 and Psalm 19 make man without excuse; as clearly in the Creation evidence of Him is seen. In all that we see how short we are of His glory; a tattered fallen Creation; and our need for rescue from inevitable physical death as well as begin to see a righteousness that we cannot obtain or reach in our fleshy nature. Ecclesiastes also states how God has put "eternity in their hearts." ( Ecclesiastes 3:11).
Isaiah 45:7 God's ways are kind of like our ways, in some ways. At the 6th trumpet God uses a foreign army to bring judgment to "His" wayward people (Babylon) for their disobedience. God is so proud of His 6th trumpet army, His beast army, and the leader who executes His will ( Joel 2:11). Then we come to find out that God is angry at the beast for doing what God had asked of him; destroy Babylon. If God didn't want Isaiah 24 or Obadiah results, why did He bless Russian scientists with the ability to destroy nations? God behaves akin to a mafia boss, just follow the narrative.
Amen. I think it's a great idea to keep our Governing nation in prayer, and pray they let God govern their hearts!
When Israel did right by the Lord he gave them rest and the spirit of the lord rested on the leaders! Numbers 11:25-29.
As a nation we've put together great writings on paper and we Identfied ourselves by these writings but we never accomplished what we have in writing. Sort of reminds you of Israel doesn't it? Actually Israel didn't just have the law written on skin, they had the Lord in their midst. But his laws wasn't written on there hearts! And this is the only geographical nation/Country that has been set apart by the Lord.
That ought to humble every other nation! God has raised up nations in the past to do his will and then judge that nation!
Habakkuk 1:5-6.
Jeremiah 25:11-12.
God used Assyria and Babylon to chastise Israel and turn the rod on them.
God raises up great kings to do his will!
Isaiah 45:1.
Ezekiel 29:18-20.
Pride goeth before destruction and an haulty spirit before a fall.
All these nations fell! Now Let's look at Israel. Ezekiel 16:48-50. Notice verses 49 and 50? You noticed God called sodom Israels sister! When God brought Israel out of Egypt God called them his son. He was a father and a husband to them. But they turned from God so at this point he's telling them they have the same father as Sodom, and we know who that is!
"He's not governing there heart" but there will come a time he will. Jeremiah 31:31-34. Noticed verse 33? He will put his law in their inward parts!
Looking at Israel and the way the Lord raised up nations and later judged them should humble us!
There will come a time when his nation will be taken out of the world and he will deal with all the worlds nations.
Joel 3:2.
So let's pray the lost people of ALL nations humble themselves and get on a tract they have NEVER been on.
Hi James. I know, that word 'hate' can be very pointed & ugly, especially when seen in the Scriptures. We need to realize that 'hate' as seen here & other places, can have several meanings. The word in Greek is 'miseo', & of course, it does mean 'to hate' but also can have other meanings according to application, i.e. 'to detest, to love less, to esteem less'. So, it's not always an ugly uncontrolled emotion that is shown. You can think of Luke 14:26, "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Did the Lord mean to say that we are to feel such hatred for our family just so that we can truly follow Him? Or did He mean that we need to esteem Him more, putting Him first in everything even to giving our family second place?
And then we have another conundrum as seen in Isaiah 45:7: "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." I share this verse simply to demonstrate the usage & understanding of languages. In Isaiah, we read of two strange phenomena: God creating darkness & creating evil. Can a God Who is altogether Light & altogether Holy & Good create such things? Some might say, yes, because He is God. Rather we should consider that in light of Who God is, maybe the creation of darkness, is actually God removing His Light. Maybe the creation of evil, is God removing His Peace. Darkness is always the default just as is Evil the present default in the World. We enjoy both physical & spiritual Light because of God's intervention through Christ ( Colossians 1:16,17; John 8:12) - we also enjoy great quietness & enjoyment of life because God by His Spirit is holding back the full onslaught of evil ( 2 Thessalonians 2:7).
Therefore Romans 9:13 & Malachi 1:2,3 that speak of 'hating Esau', can only mean that Esau was hated (rejected) in God's Plan, just as Jacob was loved (accepted).
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Philippians 2:11 And every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
You said when this happens you are saved.
All mankind, at some point in this age or in the ages to come, is going to bow the knee and confess Jesus is Lord, therefore all mankind will be saved.
Romans 14:11
Isaiah 45:23
Man cannot be in HELL and also CONFESSING JESUS IS LORD.
Look unto me , and be ye saved , all the ends of the earth ;For I am God , and there is none else .

Precious brother Chris, thanks so much for your kind words of encouragement! I did have your verse in my list of over 150 Scriptures for The LORD JESUS CHRIST As Being The Almighty God! It was #:
113. JESUS CHRIST is Called "My God" ( John 20:28). Since there is "no other God" ( Isaiah 45:5) ( Isaiah 45:21-22), This Plainly And Clearly Declares, According To The Word Of Truth, That JESUS CHRIST is That God.
Your Excellent statement: "We can note how Jesus never rebuked Thomas for exclaiming, "My Lord and my God," can Certainly be connected With Confirming Scriptures, about "rebuking worship," {# 9 on my Previous list...}:
"And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." ( Revelation 19:10)
"And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. ( Revelation 22:8-9)
May you and all who "believe God's Word Of Truth," Please Be Richly Encouraged and Edified, waiting for our Great God And Saviour, JESUS CHRIST! ( Titus 2:13)
I have sworn by myself[god], the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
you have to admit it if Paul believed this how true must it be?
let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit;
let the earth cause them both to sprout;
I the LORD have created it.
9 "Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,
a pot among earthen pots!
Does the clay say to him who forms it, WHAT ARE YOU MAKING?!!
or 'Your work has no handles'?
10 Woe to him who says to a father, 'What are you begetting?'
or to a woman, 'With what are you in labor?'"
11 Thus says the LORD,
the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him:
"Ask me of things to come;
WILL YOU COMMAND ME, concerning my children and the work of my hands?
12 I made the earth
and created man on it;
it was my hands that stretched out the heavens,
and I commanded all their host.
13 I have stirred him up in righteousness,
and I will make all his ways level;
Comment by Mishael:
We are Gods creation too; each and everyone ever conceived in a woman's womb. Even babies who were not born.
READ ROMANS CHAPTER ONE. We are without excuse. We all have enough intelligence to understand Someone made all of THIS.
God knows His Purpose.
If we do not read this Bible, we do not know what has happened and what happens next. Believe me, satan likes us in the dark, afraid and wondering.
As in the book of John, chapter 3, we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior; ask to be born again into Gods kingdom we will never be afraid again. Jesus will give us His Holy Spirit to comfort, teach, and totally reveal who Jesus is to US. He longs to comfort you.
Like me, take him at his Word, and receive. This Bible will save us and our families and loved ones.
Ask him to strengthen your weak faith. Receive it.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
Hi Neumon. I believe you're referring to Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6. Please correct me if you're thinking of other similar verses.
If we read those passages as given & understood, then we're liable to believe that the "evil" being spoken of in both verses is a moral or sadistic evil constructed by God. However, we must turn to the Hebrew to interpret that word. In both cases, the word for "evil" is from the same root word: Rah; and in both instances 'evil' is meant to imply 'calamity or adversity'.
So reading Isaiah 45:7: God both forms the light & creates darkness; if God chooses to remove the light, whether a physical light from the sun, we will have darkness. Or, He chooses to not give or prevent spiritual light coming to someone, then that mind lies in darkness (e.g. Ephesians 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:5).
Similarly, with "I make peace & create evil": God can choose to bring peace into a situation or within a person, or He can withhold that peace, & calamity or adversity prevails. So, when it says that God creates 'evil', it's impossible for an Holy God to bring out some evil from within Himself, when no such evil can even exist in such holiness. But God can remove light & peace for His Own purposes, thereby leaving distress & calamity.
Amos 3:6: in like manner, when a trumpet (of warning) is sounded, the people ought to be alerted & afraid of what's to come. If there is a calamity being struck in a city, shouldn't the inhabitants likewise be warned that maybe the Lord is trying to tell them something? Sometimes, not always, when we face an adversity or calamity in our lives, we need to seek the Lord's Face & examine our lives, lest there may be a word of warning from God for us. The Lord told Israel (through Amos) in verse 2: "You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities." Israel was greatly blessed, but they likewise also faced much warning & punishment for their sins & departure from God.

I make peace, and create evil; peace between God and men is made by Christ, who is God over all; spiritual peace of conscience comes from God, through Christ, by the Spirit; eternal glory and happiness is of God, which saints enter into at death; peace among the saints themselves here, and with the men of the world; peace in churches, and in the world, God is the author of, even of all prosperity of every kind, which this word includes: "evil" is also from him; not the evil of sin; this is not to be found among the creatures God made; this is of men, though suffered by the Lord, and overruled by him for good: but the evil of punishment for sin, God's sore judgments, famine, pestilence, evil beasts, and the sword, or war, which latter may more especially be intended, as it is opposed to peace; this usually is the effect of sin; may be sometimes lawfully engaged in; whether on a good or bad foundation is permitted by God; moreover, all afflictions, adversities, and calamities, come under this name, and are of God; see ( Job 2:10 ) ( Amos 3:6 ) : I the Lord do all these things;
Blessings!
Are you talking about Romans
11:5-7?
"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded."
If so that's Israel.
Mathew 24:24.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

God bless.
Blessings.
Everything has an OPPOSITE.
Isaiah 5:7 Ezekiel 31:8
Isaiah 6:13 Ezekiel 47:7 Revelation 22:1-2
Matthew 12:38 But if I (our God is a consuming FIRE) cast out devils (lies, deception, falsehoods) ...then the KINGDOM IS COME
Thanks for your reply.
Here's parallel verses to
Mathew 24:31.
Isaiah 11:12.
Jeremiah 23:7-8.
Jeremiah 16:14-15.
Ezekiel 34:12-13.
Isaiah 45:4.
Goodnight Kay and God bless.
Election ; 2Peter 1:10,
1Corinthians 12,
Hopefully these are helpful,
Though I didn't fully understand what you were asking
God bless,
RLW
When God said to Abraham I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.
THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU WILL
BE ABLE TO SLIP IN THE BACK DOOR TO HEAVEN.
THOSE BLESSED WILL STILL BE JUDGED!!
The Lord never depended on man's heart to do his will, Especially when dealing with Israel.
The Lord would condition man's heart to line up with his will, at the same time judge them righteously.
1) We see this with the Jews in Egypt, God conditioned the Pharoah heart for Joseph going in to Egypt.
2) We see the Lord condition the Pharoah heart "Hardened it" for his purpose when he led them out of Egypt.
You see this similar occasion in Babylon, Persia ect.
The Lord builds up for his purpose whether it's a nation or a man to run a nation, He's able to do that without neglecting to judge that Nation.
One of my favorite examples is
Isaiah 45:1-7.
It was God that blessed those Nations to serve his purpose.
It was God that blessed United States to serve his purpose.
It was God put it on their hearts.
It was God put it on the U.S heart.
I dont believe it was originally in our hearts to support Israel,
The United States, Cuba, and Canada turned a ship of refugees back right before World War 2. and "BEFORE" the holocaust.
And also Hitler put a redemption price on the Jews for two dollars a head.
We could have bought them.
There is only one Nation in focus when it comes to prophecy and that's Israel.
There will be people gathered out of "EVERY NATION"to go be with the Lord in the rapture. The world and all these Nations will go on.
Some people think blessing Israel is an Atonement for Past, Present, and Future sins.
But we must humble ourselves and realize it's God who raises and builds up, and it's God who protects Israel and always did.
God bless.
God bless and goodnight.
How did Abraham be live in heaven, Jesus relates to that no one had gone to heaven before him?
So all man before Christ does not go to Heaven :)
It is quite reasonable because God - the Real Father of the Christ - created a garden - the Eden ;)
And Father of Christ want to RE-new the whole Globe - So in revelation says about new Earth
so every man will be in that new Earth that links us to Exactly ISAIAH 45:18 where is about Earth,
that will be "inhabited".

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
New Testament
1 Timothy 1.1
Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our saviour , and Lord Jesus Christ , which is our hope ; 2 unto Timothy, my own son in the faith : Grace , mercy ,and peace , from God our father and Jesus Christ our Lord .
No mention of the Holy Spirit . Notice that . The Father and his Son Jesus Christ , who is the mediator between man and God .
The Holy Spirit, through men, wrote the WORD(S) of God ( 2 Peter 1:21).
To blaspheme the Holy Spirit is to NOT BELIEVE the Words of God.
Everyone blasphemes the Holy Spirit; until the Holy Spirit intervenes an CAUSES that person to BELIEVE ( Philippians 1:29).
The word you have to believe are not just a few scriptures (words) but ALL the scriptures (words).
Matthew 12:31-32 says they wont be forgiven in this AGE or in the AGE to follow.
Do you know how many AGES God has ordain in the AGE that has no beginning and no end. No we don't know.
God's word says that after this AGE and the AGE to follow, that they will be saved.
Isaiah 26:9 ...When thy judgements are in the earth, the inhabitants of the earth will LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Isaiah 45:23 ...That unto me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess ....
Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow ......
Philippians 2:11 And every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
1 Timothy 4:10 ...Who is the saviour of ALL MEN, specially those that BELIEVE.
This is going to be fulfilled some time after this AGE and the AGE to follow.
Sadly most don't believe these words of God.

Isaiah 45:23
I have sworn by myself[god], the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
Romans 14:11
For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
you have to admit it if Paul believed this how true must it be?
I am the LORD, and there is no other.
7 I form light and create darkness;
I make well-being and create calamity;
I am the LORD, who does all these things.
8 "Shower, O heavens, from above,
and let the clouds rain down righteousness;
let the earth open, that salvation and righteousness may bear fruit;
let the earth cause them both to sprout;
"Ask me of things to come;
WILL YOU COMMAND ME, concerning my children and the work of my hands?
12 I made the earth
and created man on it;
it was my hands that stretched out the heavens,
and I commanded all their host.
13 I have stirred him up in righteousness,
and I will make all his ways level;
Receive it.
Find the Testimonies Link and read some of those.
For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
