Thanks for the input Kaanib and "Just FYI"...I am hoping you can you help me out with this passage from 1 Timothy 3:16 -- "God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
and the one from Isaiah 9:6 -- "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
I am genuinely interested in your take on these passages in regards to our present conversation.
Think about what the Bible says about the names of the One True God of Heaven and earth.
Genesis 3:13,14 - And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Psalm 83:18 - That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.
John 1:1,14 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Luke 1:31-33 - And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Revelation 19: 13,16 - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God....And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
The Mighty God(YHWH), The Everlasting Father..I only have One True and Living God...Jesus is the name. For His name is above every name...there is no other name under heaven giving amoung men whereby we must be saved.
Why people don't noticed verse 7? As if they only read verse 6 pertaining to Jesus Christ? David's throne is in Israel. It is speaking of God's government. That is why Jesus is called a Prince. If you read the ending chapter of Revelation. You will see that God with Jesus Christ will establish their government on earth. Then will soon spread all over the universe.
JUST REMEMBER ISAIAH 9:6 THE LORD IS GOVERNING THIS WORLD SO BEAWARE OF WHAT IS SAID BECAUSE Psalms 75:7
But God [is] the judge: he putteth down one, and SETTETH up another FOR JESUS HAS COME THAT NO MAN BE CONDENMED BUT ALL TO BE SAVED. ACTS 2;36-40

If God allowed his son to be called: Wonderful counsellor, mighty God, prince of peace... Then this shows us how he loved the son... If Jesus is the mighty God, then he is worthy to be called God... Hence he and his father are one... Not only he and the father, but also the holy ghost... 1 John 5 vs 7-11...

Many people and some religious groups have come to critisize the trinity, saying that Jesus is not God. This portion of the scripture clearly erases that doubt for the Child who is born unto us, the Son given unto us is Jesus Christ. Therefore Jesus Christ is a Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace.
The Lord my God has been beside me all of my life in times of pain. He has been with me when I thought that there was no hope for me. Christ died on the cross and shed his blood to pay our sin debt in full. I trust in Him to be my Lord and Savior. Woo to those who turn their backs on God.
I HAVE ONE SON AND COULDNT IMAGINE SENDING HIM TO DIE. WHAT A HUGE PICTURE OF LOVE TO KNOW OUR SAVIOR DIED FOR ME. I ASSURE YOU I WAS NOT DESERVING.I THANK HIM EVERYDAY PRAISE JESUS
The Lord God will have no mercy on those who sin against him and the Lord God even told his people that he would send his only Son Imanuell to come to this earth and yet they did not believe him and still many do not believe in the Lord God or that he sent his only begotten Son to die in our place oh what a wonderful Saviour we have if we seek him with all of our hearts we willl Find him and he will live in our hearts if we only Believe in Gods word and put our Trust in him I truely love him with all my heart and Soul and he loves all those who are steadfast and our obedient to God Almighty what a wonderful Saviour we Have
