Hi. You may care to look at these Scriptures: 2 John 1:7 (denial of the divinity of Christ; see also 1 John 2:22 & 1 John 4:2,3). These Scriptures speak about the spirit of anti-christ in those who reject Jesus in both His Person and Office, but THE coming anti-christ is not named in the Bible.

Hello, not sure of your motives or beliefs through your comment, but here are some verses for you.

    John 4:24 - God is a spirit

John 1 - Jesus was the Word and the Word is God. He was there in the beginning and made everything (verse 3)

    1 John 5:7

What I take out of this is God the Father is a spirit, God the Son is a spirit, the Holy Ghost is a spirit.

God the Son took on the flesh and was a man temporary. A vocal minority falsely assumes Jesus was a man first, but John 1:3 debunks that.

I believe human beings are also spirits. We are not our bodies, but just temporarily inhabit them. 1 Corinthians 15:44

Kelvin a very good question....But ya have to go back to John 1 :12...I think you are refering to John 1:12 and 13....His NAME sake.. Which is the H.G. he that is born in US via Jesus seeds....Which is our new innerman that is not born by the will of any man nor is he born by Blood as he is a spritual being....Nor of the Flesh as by the will any man's carnal mind....This John 1 :12 is speaking of the sons of God that have to be born in us via only the will of God...Man has absolutely nothin to do with this new Birth which is done by the seed of the sower the words of God....Thats y he has to know us thats when that Good seed is sown in our hearts and minds that forms Christ in us a baby ....Thats y Jesus said unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....This scripture is speaking of Christ being formed in us as a baby..Thats y Jesus has to know us.

......My lil Children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you....Which is the H.G. his name sake Remember Jesus said the H.G will come in my name....And the FATHER will send the H.G. in my name John 14:26....Impling the H.G. is Jesus name sake will be born in us via Jesus seed....Thats y Isaiah refers to Jesus as everlasting Father....Jesus is the Father of the H.G....When jesus breathe on his disciples he was propagating very God via his seed his breath was his words his seeds etc..Thats y Peter said being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the words of God ( Jesus )...That liveth and abideth for ever....Living words not written words...The living words are seeds of living beings the babes and suckling he speaks of are Spirits..Thats y he said that which is BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT...Thats the babes and suckling that have to come in his name....Which are spirits ...Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receveith me which is that Child of PROMISE the H.G...Our new innerman our new heart and new spirit...Jesus is not impotent he has a seed

John 1:13 Who were born not of bloods, nor of the WILL of the flesh, nor of the WILL of man, but of God. The saving of a soul is all the work of Christ. The concept of man's so-called free-will is Antichrist. Scripture refutes it. Predestination is a magnificent truth, thank God.

    Hi Aljenon.

    I would say the spirit.

    Ephesians 4:4-6. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24.

I CAME FORTH FROM THE FATHER, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. John 16:28.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, WHICH IS IN THE BOSOM OF THE FATHER, he hath declared him. John 1:18.

God is spirit, Jesus came forth from that Spirit, and we are baptized by that spirit.

John 17:22-23. ppAnd the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Concluding thoughts continued in Rev. 22

Therefore; many may be genuinely shocked when the Lord says that He never knew them and they ask for entrance into heaven. ( Matt. 7:21). Sadly; many never will know the depths of their own depravity until they enter hell; surely then they will know how helpless they are; although there will be no love and appreciation for a Holy God. The biggest message I can see here is that we must in this life be saved; as well as love God. Mankind in his natural state can fear God but cannot love Him; nor Christ who the Father sent to die in our place. All believers are called to share in the sufferings of Christ; and to bear their own cross daily. ( Romans 8:17; Matt. 16:24). Only believers can understand being part of the Body of Christ and fellowship of the saints. (1 John 1:3 and many other passages). We must die to ourselves daily ( Galatians 2:20). This involves selfless acts; but also has to have a heart change ( Ezekiel 36:26). To be drawn to the light is the state of those who He has called to be His children and chosen ( John 3:21).

As my last commentary stated; we are not to worry about whether we are elected by God; at least as some curiousity or intellectual concept. Our responsibility is ultimately ours to test ourselves to see if we are in the faith ( 2 Cor. 13:5). His Spirit communes with our spirit to show us if we are of God ( Romans 8:16).

Verses 18 through 19 reminds us of the seriousness of God's Word. No other religions or other writings that change the Word of God or create another method of salvation; another Christ etc. are to be tolerated (See Galatians 1:8). Such a reverent fear of God's Word today is sorely lacking. Many probably don't believe these things are really going to be this bad; sadly a former Pastor of mine used to have these thoughts when reading the Book of Isaiah. If the rich man in hell is any example; no one there will be grateful for our lackluster witness here now.

Dear Ruben, Apparently God is convicting you to come back to Him for restoration. Prayers are going up for you. But in the end, it is up to you to repent, and the time is now.

Psalms 139:23, 24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Galatians 5:22-24 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

I pray that you will reach out to Him today.:

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

"mighty God" = Jesus as a baby is called God.

Titus 2:13-14 "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

"God and our Savior Jesus Christ"

Isaiah 7:14 - Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us"

1 Timothy 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."

"God was manifest in the flesh" = this is Jesus, who was manifest in the flesh. John 1:14

    Revelation 19:13-16

"his name is called The Word of God" = Jesus.

"and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God." = Jesus

"And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." = Jesus

John 1:1 clearly says the "Word was God."

"Lord" also means deity or God.

"But Jesus prayed to God so how can He be God?"

Because the Bible says He is. Jesus has always been Jn 1:2 and relegated Himself to become a temporary man in the flesh prayed to God the Father. Just because He prayed as a temporary man does not automatically mean He wasn't God, the Son. 1 John 5:7

    Philippians 2:9-11

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

    The Witness Of John

    John 1:6-13

    6. There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

    7. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.

    8. He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

    9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

    10. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

    11. He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

    12. But as many as received him, to them gave he that believe on his name:

    13. Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Testimony Of John The Baptist

    John 1:19-28

    19. And this is the record of John when the Jews sent priest and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

    20. And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed,I am not Christ.

    21. And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not, Art thou that prophet? And he answered, no.

    22. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?

    23. He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias .

    24. And they were sent were of the Pharisees.

    25. And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptized thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?

    26. John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;

    27. He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to loose.

    28. These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.

That Word Made His Dwelling Among Us

    John 1:14-18

    14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

    15. John bared witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

    16. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.

    17. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

    John 1:1-5

    2. The same was in the beginning with God.

    3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    5. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehend it not.

Hi Marsha. There are many verses that speak of, or allude, to the Triunity of God, i.e. God manifesting Himself to us in three Persons. But if you're looking for a single verse, then 1 John 5:7 fits the bill: "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." Of course, the Word given here is Jesus, Who is the Word of God made flesh for the suffering of death ( John 1:1-14; Revelation 19:11-13).

Dear Gav, if you are saved, ask God to forgive you of those addictions and the sins you have committed and repent from them--that is, turn away from them with God's help and never take them up again.

Psalms 139:23, 24 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Psalm 25:4 Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Now, I would ask: have you been born again? There is no peace without Christ. This is how to be saved:

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.- Romans 10:9-13.

"As it is written, 'There is none righteous, no, not one.'" ( Romans 3:10)

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." ( Romans 3:23)

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." ( Romans 6:23)

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ( Romans 5:8)

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." ( Romans 10:13)

Hello Cort. I would encourage you to read Romans 1:18-32: a long portion but which the Apostle Paul gives a selection of sins that people commit, sins if unrepented of, are deserving of God's Anger & Punishment.

And particularly to your question, verses 26 & 27 can be read. Here, we read of how some men & women have distorted the expression of love & God-appointed male & female behaviors to that which was never in God's Design for us. Homosexual relationships are unnatural, sinful, angers God & deserving of His Anger.

But, as with all sins that we commit, there is forgiveness when we repent of our sins before God & turn away from engaging in them. The Bible tells us that when we confess our sins, the sins that has led us off the path that God has set for us, God will accept our sorrow & will forgive us. And this He does because Jesus gave His Life for us to pay for our sins (1 John 1:9). Since God accepted Jesus' Sacrifice as payment on our behalf, we can be confident that our sins will be forgiven, even to those who have led unnatural lifestyles & engaged in unnatural relationships.

God never wants to send anyone to hell ( 2 Peter 3:9), so He is patient waiting for all sinners to come to Him in sorrow, to be made new by Him, & to be received into His family. Yes, even homosexuals who truly turn to the Lord can be changed, given new hearts & minds to serve the Lord in purity & holiness of life.

    James,

John 1:12 would be one place in scripture. But please note that it says receive, not accept. A person must receive Christ. I don't know of any verse that says to accept Him. The Bible does say that we must receive Him. There is a difference between accept and receive. To accept just means to mentally agree with something.

To the saints on this site:

1 Corinthians 4:5 speaks volume to us since saints understand the mysteries revealed to the faithful and Romans 1:6 & Romans 8:28. For saints know Isaiah 5:20. We are where we are today. God is so great to allow us to do things in life in our own free will where in the end The Glory belongs to God. God allowed me to have worked with great scientists in America with great heart. I do not need to understand and question everything at the spare of the moment. I just know the paths God lead me in was not to question authorities in the land. God has the heavenly plans and those are what I am and every saint must be very excited about. When you walk in the Spirit of God, you are like in a trance. Next thing you know someone tells you on earth job well done. Not to boast but again and again to Glorify God because He helped you to do job well done. I can control only me and hopefully have a strong influence with my family and friends and anybody that touches my life to follow God as I walk the walk and talk the talk. Even 1 Timothy 5:4 saints take it to heart. All is good with God James 1:17 and all are Your's 1 Corinthians 3:21-23. I know It is easy said and done here on earth. We all have afflictions and to some unbearable 2 Corinthians 6:4. I thank God for the blood of Jesus Christ for that power is in everyone who put his trust, faith and believe in that He will never leaves you. Psalms 91 memorize!

1 Corinthians 1:17. Here's a verse where the emphasis is often placed on whether Paul baptized or not, when thw focus should be on the division amongst believers. Here's the key text. 1 Corinthians 1:11-13..

....IS CHRIST DIVIDED? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

    NO! Christ is not divided.

    Notice vs 17.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, LEST THE CROSS OF CHRIST SHOULD BE MADE OF NONE EFFECT.

There's power in preaching the cross UNITES BELIEVERS and it is not in man's intellect. It's not in joining another's belief system! It's the baptism of the Holyspirit that puts you into the body of Christ where you become children of God. And the Spirit causes you to love your brother. But it divides unbelievers and believers. Vs18. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

    Read on through

    1 Corinthians 1:18-31.

    Also 1 Corinthians 2:1-5.

I'm at odds with heresies and I respond to those who undermine the truth. But I don't hate them.

Here's verses I try to keep in mind when it seems to be tares, apostates or contentious brothern present.

    2 Thessalonians 3:14-15.

    2 John 1:10-11.

    Galatians 1:8-10.

    Titus 3:9-11.

The thing is it's discernment not partiality. You don't know them by their works, You know them by their fruit. And it certainly seems that certain doctrine is sown to the flesh and produces corruption and is at odds with the truth.

    Therefore they're are fruitless.

We also sometimes walk in the flesh "trying to put on politeness" and say something polite by telling these tares they have something to offer, But scripture says otherwise.

You can politely rebuke them with scripture. But any carnal establishment or person will say you're contentious.

    1 Peter 3:14-17.

    God bless.

Dear Ruben, God will restore you to His will. All you have to do is ask Him to forgive you and repent from your backsliding ways with His help.

Pray, read and study His Word, asking Him to show you how to walk. Psalm 25:4 Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Here is the fruit of the Spirit that true Christians bear with the help of God.

This prayer will help with what you are going through with the devil:

Father, please give me wisdom, strength, and determination to stand in the battle raging

about me. Help me use all the armor and weapons You have given me to their fullest extent. 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

    God bless!

You wear was made in a sweat shop in china corrupt if you buy groceries from a chain who,'s family is involved in witchcraft it's corrupt. That:s why when we receive

Things from God they are blessed because of what was done by Jesus Christ.

In Gospel of John 1:29 John the Baptist proclaimed behold the lamb of God which

Taketh away the sin of the world meaning Jesus Christ sacrifice paid for all of

    Hi Adam

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

    Yes, I do Adam.

If so, do you believe Jesus is the Word as it says in John 1:14 and that He is God and created everything as it says in John 1:1-3?

    Yes, I do Adam.

And do you believe Ephesians 2:8-9 is true that we're saved by grace and not by works?

I believe both writings of James and Paul, meaning, we are saved by both grace and works because the two apostles contradict each other.

Going back to your first question,

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

Yes, meaning, I don't believe Paul over James nor James over Paul but I believe both are teaching true doctrines making the entire Bible 100% true.

    Paul says,

We are saved by grace through faith and not by works for if it is by works it is no more grace. (Ephesians and Romans)

    Grace comes through faith...

    And James says,

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ( James 2:26)

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. ( James 2:17)

The only conclusion to these doctrines and believing the Bible 100% and not just parts of it would be to say we are saved both by works and grace.

Making what the Book of Mormon prophet Nephi says,

We are saved by grace, after all we can doa true doctrine.

And solidifying Isaiah's doctrine which says,

They also that erred in spirit shall come to understanding, and they that murmured shall learn doctrine. ( Isaiah 29:24)

Which, I believe, is speaking about the Book of Mormon.

Adam, do you believe Paul is correct? and do you believe James is also correct?

Hi Paul, welcome and I'm sure you'll find an interesting dialog in these forums.

I'm a truth seeker too and believe the Bible. I am interested in what you believe about these 3 questions...

Do you believe the Bible is 100% true and is God's word?

If so, do you believe Jesus is the Word as it says in John 1:14 and that He is God and created everything as it says in John 1:1-3?

And do you believe Ephesians 2:8-9 is true that we're saved by grace and not by works?

    God bless
