Jacob, Read the verse I gave in my last post. Also 2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist." 1 John 4:3, 1 John 4:2. If you do not believe that Christ came in the flesh (he is a man) you won't get what God is telling you in all the verse I wrote.

This chapter plainly tells us that love is the greatest gift of all because it represents the heart of God. 1st John 4:7 says that "God is love everyone and everyone that loves is born of God." Thus, according to 1John 4:20, "If a man say, I love God, and hate his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?"

JESUS HAS THE GREATEST LOVE THAT EVER CAME ON EARTH, BUT WENT THROUGH THE MOST HATRED CAUSE HE STOOD ON THE TRUTH ALL THE WAY! WE AS BELIEVERS MUST GET PAST OUR FEELINGS AND LIVE IN THE SPIRIT IF WE WANT TO STAND IN THESE LAST AND EVIL DAYS! JOHN 4:24 SAYS THAT GOD IS A SPIRIT, THEY THAT WORSHIP HIM MUST WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH! I RATHER STAND ON THE TRUTH NO MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE HATE ME CAUSE JESUS GAVE ME A NEW HEART AND MIND! WITHOUT JESUS I AM NOTHING! AMEN! GLORY BE TO GOD!!

"We love him, because he first loved us."-1 John 4:19. We should rejoice, not because Christ's stripes heal our bones, rather because they revive our spirits and reconcile us back to our Creator. He said: "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:11. Christ suffered, long before we knew it. He paid our debt, long before we even realised that we owed anybody. He redeemed us, long before we fathomed anything about the plan of redemption. Though, at times, our flesh may ail, or even die, let us be assured that our spirits wont, since they were purchased by blood unto life by "him that loved us, and washed us from our sins, in his own blood."- Rev 1:5. And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my FLESH, I SHALL SEE GOD"- 19:25,26 Oh, How I Love Jesus, Because He First Loved Me!!!

Neini Curulala, very interesting and controversial subject of the day Christians should observe the Sabbath. Let us remember that God is speaking to Israel or the Jewish nation in its infancy therefore they should observe the Sabbath on Saturday. The Christian church began in houses of Christians because the Jews kicked them out of synagogues. The Early Christians started to observe the Sabbath on the first day of the week which would be Monday on the Jewish calendar. Most Christians of the world observe and I can 't see from Scripture any better reason than to honor the resurrection day of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who himself fulfilled the whole law. As Jesus said in John 4:22 "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews ". But salvation is by Jesus Christ who came through the Jewish nation and is himself the salvation of mankind. Mark 2:27 Jesus said, "the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. Let us not be like the Pharisees which Jesus told in Matt. 23:24 "Ye blind guides, which strain at gnat, and swallow a camel ". God bless us all and in the understanding of his Word. Reading John 1:1-5, we will find out that The Word was with God in the beginning. Verse 1 says 'lInux the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and God was the word ' '. So if you agree with the Bible, you will know that The word became flesh Jesus . And the Same John 1 says that by the Word was everything made and without Him there was nothing made that was made. That means God was using the Word Jesus to create everything and that means the consent of the Word Jesus , which is also God according to John 1:1 was needed in the creation process. If so, who was God now speaking to that ' 'Let us make man in our own image and likeness? ' ' If not Jesus. Now that said, if you believe in the Word in John 4:24 ' 'God is a spirit: and they that worship Him must Worship Him in truth and in Spirit ' ', then there is no reason for you now not to know that God is Jesus and God is the Spirit. The reason why He is called the HolySpirit is because there can be evil spirit but His own Spirit is Holy. I pray that God explains it to you Himself the Same way He did to me so that no indoctrination will be a veil on your face. Amen!!!

We all must spread the word of God and we must realize there will no believers but don 't give up on them help them to believe and trust in God with no witness to his miricles in person but to accept Jesus Christ as or lord and savior

The phrase, the second is like unto it signifies that Exodus 20:3-11 which spells our relationship with God cannot be complete without Exodus 20:12-17 which spells our relationship with our neighbour. We cannot claim to love God if we don t love our brother whom we are seeing 1 John 4:20-21.

Well to me i think Jesus had to go through Samaria firstly because,in the kingdom of God and life in general,nothing happens by chance.his going to Samaria was because there was a divine accomplishment Secondly women were looked upon as second class citizen so in his divine assignment women were also included and were to relate with him just as any other person Furthermore, even though his initial assignment was for the lost sheep of israel,he turned to the whole world when the lost sheep of Israel rejected him.now Samaria being one of those countries that the Jews were prohibited to relate with.his going through it and talking with a woman from there speaks of his universal assignment to save the whole world

Theres a reason the holy scripture read as jesus asking the woman,woman represents us,the bride of crist,jesus is still asking all of us beleivers,give me to drink of our fellowship,Love,adoration,he is so thirsty and hungry for our sincere love and fellowship,all he wants is to Love him with all our hearts,souls strenght so he can have the intimate Love covenant relationship with us!!

I understand that we must come boldly before the throne of grace never with a sense of condemnation but trusting that the finished work of Jesus Christ is sufficient. It paid all our sin debt and receiving, acknowledging and rejoicing in that gift we can come in Christ as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus 1 John 4:17 to partake of His body and blood. Our worthiness to take it lies in His redemptive sacrifice which we are remembering. We are never the issue. He is, His finished work is. Look to ourselves and we are condemned. Look to Jesus and we are justified by faith in His finished work.

When she states she has no husband this means that the soul woman is not joined with spirit so if she claims no husband then she must be under the bondage of the physical senses. The 5 husbands refer to the 5 senses. If you are not married to the Spirit then your are married to the senses. God is love. When God dwells in us his love is manifested in our lives. In first John 4:7-8 it says, love is of God and every one that loveth is born of God. He that loveth not knoweth not God for God is love. Again it says in 1 John 5:2 -3 by this we know me love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his comandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grevious. In Romans 5:5 it says, and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the holy Ghost which is given in us. It is the love of God in the heart of the true believer that keeps him in the narrow path, the harder way the Word, Christ. It is the love of God in the heart of the believer that keeps him in the doctrine of Christ and therefore in God for it says in 1John 1:9 whoso transgresseth and and abides not in the doctrine of Christ hath no God. Love hopeth all things, believeth all things in other words it abounds in the faith of Jesus endures all things in other words it abides in the word in sword nakedness, peril and famine etc love rejoice in the truth which is the word of God . In other words the person dwelling in love is perfect in all the divine virtues of Christ 2 Peter 2 . The living love of of Jesus Christ in his bride is a living evidence of his purchase and evidence that his quickening power has raised him from deadness in sin and trespasses and now his life is pulsating through him.

I totally agree with the commentaries on Jhn 4:24. The thing here is that, it is the Lord Himself The Son, who knows The Father, has seen The Father, is sent of The Father and is one with The Father who is commanding or giving us instructions as to the acceptable way in which God is to be worshiped. All that is required of us is total obedience to His revealed will in order for us to be 'true worshipers '.If we are true worshipers then that places us in His presence.And if in His presence then our goal is not a too distant reality. We then should ask guide God for the fortifying providence of His Holy Spirit so that He finds us daily to be worthy of worshiping Him in His presence.

Colossians 2:9 declaring that Jesus Christ said that for in Him dwelleth ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD BODILY. God is Spirit John 4:24 No Bones, No flesh, No Body, No Blood, meaning INVISIBLE . He is 100 God and 100 Man. 1 Timothy 3:16 God was manifest in the flesh in the body of Christ the human body, with bones, with blood , with flesh meaning VISIBLE. As people,we are so much interested in eating food and we care less about the work of God.If we can put the work of God first then the food of the body,we would benefit of the blessings of Heaven.I have the food to eat says Jesus.We need to know that we have very little time on this earth for to do the work of God.I wish each of us knew how many days you have on this earth,it would help us to do the works of God.
