    Dear Friends,

Paul's command (not a request) in 2 Timothy 2:15 - "rightly dividing the word of truth" - makes no sense if there is nothing to divide.

The Greek word translated "rightly divide" means to "cut straight" or "make a correct partition." Paul is instructing Timothy (and us) to handle God's Word carefully, recognizing distinctions God Himself has placed in it. The Bible is one unified revelation, but within it God deals with different people in different ways at different times (dispensations). For example:

Law vs. Grace: God gave Israel the Law through Moses ( Exodus 20), but through Paul He revealed salvation by grace apart from the Law ( Romans 6:14; Galatians 2:16). If we blur these, we end up mixing works with grace.

Israel vs. the Church: Israel was promised an earthly kingdom ( Jeremiah 23:5-6; Matthew 19:28), while the Body of Christ has a heavenly calling ( Ephesians 1:3; Philippians 3:20). If we confuse these, we misapply promises and commands not meant for us.

Gospel of the Kingdom vs. Gospel of Grace: (yes, there is more than one Gospel in the NT) Jesus and the 12 preached "the gospel of the kingdom" to Israel ( Matthew 4:23; Galatians 2:7-9), while Paul was given "the gospel of the grace of God" ( Acts 20:24; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Both are true, but they serve different purposes in God's plan.

So Paul's point is: don't blend everything together as if it all applies in the same way to everyone. To "rightly divide" is to discern God's progressive revelation - prophecy vs. mystery, Israel's promises vs. the Church's hope, law vs. grace. If you don't divide, you end up in contradictions and confusion.

Hello Tanae7852 and welcome to these pages. That's really great that you are keen to start reading and studying God's Holy Word. As you prayerfully read its sacred pages, waiting on Him to open your understanding and applying its Truths, you will truly be enriched in your life and faith - faith in a never-failing God.

To answer your question about the first disciple to follow Jesus, you can read that account in John 1:35-40, the day after Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. And that disciple was Andrew, who in turn searched out his brother Simon, telling him to come with him as he had found the Messiah. Now there is another account in Matthew 4:18-20 which also states that Andrew & Simon were seen by Jesus, as they were mending their fishing nets. In this account, they left everything and followed Jesus.

But in respect of the chronology of events, it seems that the John chap 1 reference is the first meeting, as Jesus had first been baptized by John the Baptist & met Andrew & Simon, then after Jesus' temptation by Satan in the wilderness, He saw Andrew & Simon by the Sea of Galilee with their nets and now they followed Him ( Matthew 4:18-20). It was at this point that Andrew & Simon left all for Jesus. I hope that brings things into perspective.

If, after reading through all the Gospels, you want to re-read them in chronological order (i.e. events according to the order they occurred), then you could get hold of a "Harmony of the Gospels". If your Bible doesn't have one, then do a web search for that phrase and I would recommend the one that Blue Letter Bible produces; a different way of going through the Life and times of Jesus. Blessings.

    Chris,

Here's a more detailed breakdown for you.

. The Gospel of the Kingdom

Audience: Israel, under the covenants and promises.

Message: The long-promised kingdom, with Messiah reigning on David's throne, was "at hand."

Matthew 4:23 - "And Jesus went about preaching the gospel of the kingdom"

Matthew 10:5-7 - The Twelve were sent only to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel" with this gospel.

Luke 22:29-30 - The apostles are promised to sit on twelve thrones judging Israel in that kingdom.

Acts 3:19-21 - Peter still offers the kingdom if Israel repents, showing this program was continuing post-cross.

This gospel was prophetic, rooted in promises made "since the world began" ( Luke 1:70; Acts 3:21).

    2. The Gospel of the Grace of God (Paul's Gospel)

Audience: Jew and Gentile alike, apart from Israel's covenants.

Message: Christ's death, burial, and resurrection for sins, offering free justification by faith.

Acts 20:24 - Paul calls it "the gospel of the grace of God."

Romans 16:25 - This gospel was "according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began."

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 - The content: Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again.

Galatians 1:11-12 - Paul received it by direct revelation from Christ, not from the Twelve.

This gospel creates the Body of Christ ( 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph. 3:6), uniting Jew and Gentile in one new man.

    3. Jews Responding to Both Programs

Some Jews believed Peter and the Eleven's message of the kingdom ( Acts 2:41; Acts 4:4). James writes to these scattered tribes ( James 1:1), exhorting them in kingdom-related works and endurance.

Other Jews believed Paul's gospel of grace and became part of the Body ( Rom. 11:13-14; 1 Cor. 9:20-22).

    4. Dispensational Distinction

Kingdom Gospel = Israel's prophetic hope on earth.

Grace Gospel = Body of Christ's heavenly hope, revealed through Paul.

Both have Christ as center, but their scope and promises differ.

    Hello Friends,

My final thoughts on the matter of Kingdom message compared to the Salvation through Faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, with heavenly blessings and a heavenly hope.

The "kingdom message" preached by Peter and the other apostles-particularly in the early chapters of Acts-was primarily directed to Israel and centered on the offer of the earthly Messianic kingdom promised in the Old Testament. This message called the nation to repentance and faith in Jesus as the risen Messiah and King, with the expectation that if Israel as a nation responded, Christ would return and establish His kingdom on earth ( Acts 3:19-21). Peter's sermons (e.g., Acts 2 and 3) emphasized Jesus' fulfillment of prophecy, His resurrection, and His role as the promised Davidic King. The apostles preached "the gospel of the kingdom," which was consistent with what Jesus proclaimed during His earthly ministry ( Matthew 4:17; Luke 9:1-6).

However, this message was rejected by the nation of Israel, culminating in the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7. It is after this national rejection that God raised up Paul as the apostle to the Gentiles ( Acts 9; Romans 11:13). Through Paul, God revealed the "mystery" of the body of Christ-a previously hidden truth ( Ephesians 3:1-9; Colossians 1:24-27). The body of Christ is not a continuation of Israel's kingdom program but a new entity in which there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile ( Galatians 3:28). Paul's message was the gospel of the grace of God ( Acts 20:24), focused not on an earthly kingdom, but on salvation through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, with heavenly blessings and a heavenly hope.

In summary, the kingdom message was not meant for the body of Christ. It was directed to Israel, offering a literal kingdom on earth. The body of Christ, a new creation revealed through Paul, operates under a different gospel and program-centered on grace, not law or kingdom promises.

    Blessings to all!

    2. The Gospel Messages: Same or Different?

Matthew 4:23 - Jesus preached "the gospel of the kingdom."

Acts 20:24 - Paul speaks of "the gospel of the grace of God."

Galatians 1:11-12 - Paul received his gospel by direct revelation from Christ.

Many assume the Bible presents one unified gospel throughout. But a closer reading reveals distinctions between the gospel of the kingdom (offered to Israel) and the gospel of grace (offered to the Gentiles and the Body of Christ).

Denominational tradition may attempt to blend these messages, creating theological confusion. But by removing those filters and taking Scripture slowly, we see that Paul's message of grace was a new revelation-a "mystery" ( Ephesians 3:1-6), hidden from past ages but revealed through him.

The Role of "Right Division" in Clarity

Paul commands believers to "rightly divide the word of truth" ( 2 Timothy 2:15). This doesn't mean dividing truth from error-it means dividing truth from truth, identifying what applies to Israel and what applies to the Church, the Body of Christ.

Right division isn't about rejecting parts of the Bible-it's about placing them in their proper context, understanding that God has dealt with humanity in different ways throughout time ( Hebrews 1:1-2). It honors the integrity of each passage and avoids blending programs that God intended to remain distinct.

When rightly divided, the Scriptures form a cohesive whole. God's dealings with Israel under the law (Exodus through Malachi) differ from His dealings with the Body of Christ under grace (Romans through Philemon). When we respect those distinctions, confusion clears.

Examples of Clarity Through Slow, Careful Study

The Sermon on the Mount ( Matthew 5-7)

Jesus' teaching here emphasizes law-based living, including commands like "cut off your hand" if it causes you to sin and a strict standard of righteousness exceeding that of the Pharisees.

Here are scriptures where Peter preached a message of repentance, faith in Jesus as Messiah, plus works (obedience, water baptism, etc.)-mainly directed to Israel as part of the "Kingdom Gospel" ( Matthew 4:17), distinct from Paul's "Gospel of the Grace of God" ( Acts 20:24).

Peter's Kingdom Gospel - Repentance, Faith, and Works

    1. Acts 2:36-38 - Pentecost sermon

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

    Repentance

Water baptism required for remission of sins

Holy Spirit as a result of obedience

    2. Acts 3:19-21 - Second temple sermon to Israel

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord"

    Repentance = condition for forgiveness

    Tied to future kingdom blessings

    3. Acts 5:32

"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."

Obedience (works) as a condition to receive the Holy Ghost

    4. 1 Peter 1:2

"Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ..."

    Election tied to obedience

Sprinkling of blood = cleansing, yet connected with obedient response

Ok Bennymkje, since you've shared again, I respond. You've quoted Exodus 34:28 (Moses' fasting), Matthew 4:2 (Jesus' temptation), Acts 1:3 (Jesus' Resurrection) to show the importance and connection to "40 days". Supposing I also add to those: Genesis 7:12 (Rain on the Earth), Numbers 13:25 (searching out the land), 1 Samuel 17:16 (Goliath's presentation), Jonah 3:4 (Jonah's cry); how would these other 40 mentions of mine figure in your interpretation? No connection at all, yet the number 40 is consistent so it must be important, shouldn't it?

Whereas Matthew 12:40 (Jonah in the fish's belly) does connect with Jonah 1:17. Why? Because the Lord Himself wanted to give the religious leaders the sign they sought. Jonah wasn't stuck in the belly because Jesus much later would be "in the heart of the earth". Jonah happened to be in the fish for that time and Jesus used that event to describe & prophesy to these leaders that He too would spend the same time in the tomb. The connection & understanding is clear, for Jesus had made it. But to maintain consistency with this, if I introduce 1 Samuel 30:12 (the young Egyptian who was starving for 3 days & 3 nights), then I destroy what sense and connection the Matthew & Jonah verses made to each other. I hope you can see why it is difficult for me, and likely others, to really understand your connections and interpretations.

Though I do agree with you on this: "If every believer knew truth there would not be so many heresies and so many sects"; and I would add, to "rightly divide the Word", so that Word would become much more precious & rich in every heart who hears it.

    Part 1

What is the spirit world ? ? Humans have a spirit that communicates with God and the devil can influence the spirit as well.

Satan is the spirit of this earth and the air.

    Matthew 4:8

    Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of theworld, and the glory of them;

The Second Coming of Jesus, the saved Jew of the kingdom is the good seed and the bad seed is the children of the wicked. The person next to us could be unsaved.

    Matthew 13:38

    The field is theworld; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Satan can convince a person not to get saved by deceiving them and now they are the wicked. The devil has wicked seeds of lies

    Matthew 13:39

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of theworld; and the reapers are the angels.

At the last days in the Second Coming of Jesus in the Tribulation, the wicked will be taken for destruction. It is not the Rapture.

    Matthew 13:40

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of thisworld.

At the Tribulation, the angels will kill the wicked. It is the not the Rapture.

    Matthew 13:49

So shall it be at the end of theworld: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

It is harder for a rich man to be saved because he has everything in life except Jesus Christ.

    Matthew 16:26

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the wholeworld, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

The Gospel of the Kingdom is for the Jews and the Gospel of Grace is for the Gentiles.

We start with the Gospel of the Kingdom on earth for the Jews for the New Jerusalem.

    Matthew 4:23

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching thegospelofthekingdom, and healing all mannerofsickness and all mannerofdisease among the people.

The gospel of the kingdom required

    Matthew 24:14

And thisgospelofthekingdomshall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall repentance.

Jesus Christ told the Twelve Disiples not to go to the Gentiles with the gospel of the kingdom.

    Matthew 10:5-7

5These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

7And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus Christ job was to minister to the Jews for in the gospel of the kingdom.

Why should we follow Paul ? ? But what about following Jesus ? ?

All Twelve Disiples followed Jesus earthly ministry in the four gospels for the kingdom of heaven on earth.

    Matthew 4:19

And he saith unto them,Followme, and I will make you fishers of men.

    Mark 1:18

And straightway they forsook their nets, andfollowed him.

    Luke 5:11

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, andfollowed him.

    John 1:37

And the two disciples heard him speak, and theyfollowed Jesus.

Why should we follow Apostle Paul ? ?

Jesus Christ in Heaven did say that Apostle Paul was a chosen vessel for the Gentiles.

    Acts 9:15

But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is achosenvesselunto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Jesus Christ is the author of the whole Bible.

    Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus theauthorand finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Jesus Christ wants us to follow Apostle Paul's epistle for doctrine and Salvation.

    1 Corinthians 11:1

Be yefollowers ofme, even as I also am of Christ.

Apostle Paul's doctrine is from Jesus Christ in Heaven.

    Romans 16:17

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to thedoctrinewhich ye have learned; and avoid them.

Apostle Paul said that we can always learn from the Old Testament and the caring down kingdom of gospel in the four gospels. The death of Jesus Christ started the New Testament

    Hebrews 9:16

For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of thetestator.

    Romans 15:4

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for ourlearning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

I follow Apostle Paul's epistle in Jesus Christ for Doctrine and Salvation.

Adam rules the earth and the air .

    Genesis 1:26

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Satan took over the earth and the air, when Adam sinned against God.

Can we really follow Jesus's footsteps in His early ministry in the four gospels ? ? Can we really heal everyone like Jesus Christ has ? ? Can we raise the dead from the grave like Jesus Christ ? ?

Jesus Christ healed all that was sick.

    Matthew 4:23

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, andhealing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

    Jesus casted out devils.

    Mark 1:39

And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, andcastoutdevils

Peter tried to walk on water like Jesus.

    Matthew 14:29

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, hewalkedonthewater, to go to Jesus.

Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead.

    John 11:43

And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice,Lazarus, come forth.

Now we ask ourselves again, can we really walk Jesus Christ footsteps and follow the law without sinning ? ? The answer is a big no .

That's why Jesus Christ died on the cross so we don't have to follow the law for Salvation, because the law only condemneth us and we don't have power anymore to heal or cast out devils.

    John 19:30

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said,Itisfinished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

Jesus Christ is our redeemer for Salvation in his grace.

    Ephesians 1:7

    In whom we haveredemptionthrough his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

We now have the complete word of God. The The other stuff faded away. We are left with the Holy Spirit and the Word of Truth.

    1 Corinthians 15:9-10

9For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

    May we believe.

Ray, in Christ Jesus 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

The word of truth is the gospel of grace.

    Hi Fuji,

Was Jesus in heaven before creation? My understanding is no. Many will say Jesus is part of a Triune God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons, all co-equal, and co-eternal so that would put Him in heaven before creation.

God is a Spirit John 4:24, so if Jesus were in heaven His form would be Spirit. Are there verses on their own that would support the Trinity, yes. But we must keep a verse in context and compare it to other Scriptures about the same subject and not start with the answer, or a preconceived idea. We should let the Scriptures and the Holy Spirit give us the answer and meaning.

A few thoughts. In John 1:1 what beginning is John referring to, the beginning of creation or the beginning of Jesus's ministry, when He was anointed with the Holy Ghost becoming the Messiah, Matthew 4:16-17. We see the same introduction in 1 John 1:1 and others. In Revelation 19:13 Jesus's name is called the Word of God is that saying Jesus is God?

God was manifested in Jesus through the Holy Spirit, 1 John 1:1, Luke 4:18, John 14:10. The life eternal that was with God was manifested on earth through Jesus that we may fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ 1 John 1:2-7.

I will not go on and on but to me, there is one problem the Trinity doctrine creates I cannot find an answer.

God is perfect and cannot change, in the doctrine that would be the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The law was made for man and a man had to fulfill it. A man who could sin had to live a perfect life without sin to pay the penalty. Jesus did and paid the penalties for sin with His death. God cannot die and God cannot sin nor can He be tempted James 1:13, so He could not fulfill the law. Jesus was born without sin as the first Adam but could sin, the first Adam was not obedient and sinned. The last Adam, Jesus, was obedient to the Father and sinned not Romans 5:19. If God sacrificed Himself John 3:16 is not true.

    God bless,

    (2 Corinthians Part 30):

2 Corinthians 13:9 - For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

For we are glad, when we are weak, and you are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

The word "perfection" is KATARTIDZO, which means to mend. It's a medical term for the mending of broken bones. It's very important why Paul would not say the word for maturity, but the word for mending. We see the same word in Matthew 4:21.

In Ephesians 4:12, Paul used KATARTIDZO, and we have translated it "equipping of the saints." It has nothing to do with equipping the saints. It's the mending of the saints. He says in Ephesians Chapter 4 that God has given those in ministry for the mending of the saints for the work of ministry.

In other words, the first priority in a believer's life is to get their life mended, healed, so that they can get on their feet and have a good healthy relationship with the Lord. Then they enter into ministry or service as God calls!

2 Corinthians 13:11 - Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

First of all, farewell literally means to rejoice. CHAIRETE is the Modern Greek term for greetings, either hello or goodbye. So, when he says farewell, he says be rejoicing. But you should also know that in Greek, the word rejoicing has nothing to do with a happy feeling. It's the Greek word for satisfaction or contentment.

Second command, be perfect. Again, KATARTIDZO. Be of good comfort, or encouragement. And again, this is the Passive Voice. It means receive encouragement from God. Be of one mind, frame of mind. It means to have the same approach to life and the things of Christ.

That's all I have for 2 Corinthians. On to Galatians next. We're getting into shorter books so this should go a little quicker. Some of you are probably saying "thank God!"

Blessings to you all in Christ Jesus!

As a SPIRITUALLY ORDAINED and SANCIFIED MINISTER of Jesus Christ God Almighty, according to Romans 13:1-4, come as prophesied MANIFEST WITHIN ME, according to Isaiah 9:2, 6-7; St. Matthew 4:16; St. John 14:1-21, highlighting verses 20-21, and 2 Corinthians 4:1-7, I have recently sadly discovered that at least two (2) highly important chapters of the OFFICIAL KJV of the Bible of THIS WEBSITE have been wrongfully and shamefully removed, being 1 John chapters 4 and 5! I know for a fact they have been present this year. Suddenly they're now both gone! Please return these chapters of the Bible immediately, including any other chapters I'm not currently aware have been removed as well! Please note, the last chapter of the Bible, Revelation 22, verses 18-19, as it is written (KJV)

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

    Continued:

These are examples of people in fear, sickness and death situations and my ways and interpetation to overcome through Jesus Christ is God died /sacrifice on the cross , buried in a grave, after 3 day rose from the dead.

    1) A man with health concerns was about to undergo another major surgery, he said that while he was anxious about his health and didn't want to die, he wasn't afraid of being sick or dying. He was asked why -and said he knew that whatever happened, God was in control. My interpetation he had faith ( Psalms 30:2 KJV ) and believed Jesus Christ is God ( Isaiah 56:6 KJV )

    2) A trembling woman who had been sick for many years approached Jesus . Then she touched the edge of his cloak and was immediately healed! While she was afraid to speak up about what she had done. Jesus assured her that her faith in him had made her whole. Here is a textual scripture: Mark 5:25-34 KJV My interpetation is meaning she listened to God's commands believing the truth-Jesus Christ is God.( Isaiah 54:10 KJV,) bringing and end to the law Romans 10:4 KJV meaning made well and healed.

    Mark 5:33 KJV

33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

3)Sickness and death are things that we all fear in one way or another My interpetation believing in God and not believing in God. But as we look at these grim realities, we need to see them through the lens of a Jesus sacrifice for us My interpetation: ( Matthew 3:2 KJV, Matthew 4:19 KJV, John 3:16 KJV) and God love for us Romans 5:8 KJV.

    Matthew 3:2 KJV

And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

    Matthew 4:19 KJV

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Have someone ever spoke to you or gave you writings about God's love?

My comment on your post to the Giannis starts saying:Based in the Word of GOD(not mine), the Spirit of Truth speaks nothing from him himself- John 16:13,right? In my analyse,I saw Giannis was not receiving a true interpretation according the Spirit of Truth in Matthew 4:2 I quoted.

You said:"Scripture never says that Satan knew all about Jesus",it's you're saying.Scripture says he is full of wisdom,an anointed Cherub,GOD have set him so,he was upon the holy mountain of GOD walking in the midst of the STONES of fire, perfect from the day he was created, till iniquity was found in him-Ez.28.

THERE IS NO SECRET THAT THEY CAN HIDE FROM HIM-Ez.28:3,so he is the main Enemy of JESUS and believers in JESUS.

You said"Satan does not know what is in people's minds",but is this true?Satan did put in the mind of Eve-Gen.3:5-6-GOD doth know that eating fruit good and evil the eyes shall be opened, and shall be as gods(as angels)knowing good and evil. 6 When Eve saw that the tree(THE MESSAGE)was good for food, and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree(A MESSAGE)to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit(believed)and gave(commented)also unto her husband (both talked about things Satan had said, both believed in him);and Adam did eat(believed in the Devil),both believed in the things Satan did put in their mind.

How can you fight against Satan and his messengers- Revelation 12:7-,if you know not well Satan, neither his messengers? This is very danger, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, and Powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Finally you"think that I spiritualize Scripture to fit my mind",who did put this in your mind?now, the Word is GOD,GOD Himself,GOD is Spirit- John 4:24 combined with John 6:63-64, mainly Matthew 10:20, understand?take a look.

The letter kills, the Spirit gives life, you should post to Giannis by the Spirit, not by the letter, the letter kills the souls.

    Brother Ronald.

When Adam sinned it was his imperfections manifesting itself.

Adam and Eve eyes were opened after they ate of the fruit. They were now able to see things that were there that they never seen before!

Is it possible that without the knowledge of good and evil sin is not imputed as we see in Romans 5:12-13 and John 9:41.

Let's take a closer look at Romans 5, being that it seems relevant to our discussion.

Romans 5:12-14 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

(For until the law sin was in the world: BUT SIN IS NOT IMPUTED WHEN THERE IS NO LAW. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

What do we inherit from Adam? Just his offence?

What about his nature before and after the fall?

I'm having trouble presenting this so let me give an example by way of a hypothetical scenario.

Let's imagine Adam and Eve had children before the fall, (eating of the fruit of the tree) and also children afterwards.

Would all of them inherit Adam's offense or just those born afterwards?

I believe they all would because Adam had a nature that was bound to fall.

One that was subject to sin.

As for Christ We've been over Matthew 4:1-11.

That wasn't a test to see if he would sin but rather to prove him.

It was to show he was who the Scripture say he was.

    The Son of God.

And you are referring to Hebrews 4:15. My understanding of that is Christ "being in the flesh" he was able to relate to our testing but WASN'T ABLE to Succumb to the testing and sin.

    God bless.

Revelation is about the revealing of Jesus Christ.

The kingdom of God is Jesus Christ and YOU as ONE FLESH.

The prophecy applies to YOU and Christ, as being one flesh.

Revelation 22:10 .....Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for the TIME IS AT HAND .....

Matthew 4:17 .... for the kingdom of heaven (God) IS AT HAND ....

The REVELATION is the same whether one lived 1900 years ago, today, or 1900 years in the future.

It has nothing to do with Russia, Iran, Trump or any other nation or person.

TODAY is the day of salvation, whether it was 1900 years ago, today, or 1900 years from now.

The prophecy is for each person, as Christ reveals HIMSELF (truth and life) to that person.

Apply Revelation to YOURSELF, not to some nation, or other person.

    God Bless You

    Hi Ronald.

    Thanks for responding.

You said, "Temptation or testing is for an answer to whether someone will be obedient or disobedient,

Ronald here's a silly illustration. When a salesman at a car dealership let's you test drive a car, is he testing to see if the car is obedient? No. He's proving the car is what he say it is.

That's why the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to show Jesus is who the father said he was in the previous verse.

Here's how it's read straight through.

And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Matthew 3:17 - Matthew 4:1.

You asked, How can one be obedient if they cannot be disobedient?

That would be a good question for you and I.

    We have a rebellious nature.

Disobedience is our fleshly nature. That's not so with Christ.

If you have to resist sin, you have a sinful nature. That's not so with Christ.

    You asked;

If the first Adam was created with a sinful nature could God say He saw everything.

Yes Ronald, Absolutely. He made Adam just the way he planned to make him, and Adam did exactly what was expected. Christ wasn't a afterthought. God knew Adam would sin before he made him.

That is the long answers I have for you Ronald.

Again, My short answer is, Jesus is God and God cannot sin.

    Thanks Brother Ronald,

We both know we don't agree on this.

I just thought it was necessary to give my thoughts.

    God bless.

    Part 2.

    Tempted of Satan.

Matthe 4:1. "Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

    Here's my understanding.

In Matthew 3 we see Jesus being baptized by John the baptist.

Then, in verse 17it reads, "And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased"

That brings us to Chapter 4 where we see the tempting of Satan in which the word for tempted is "peiraz" which means to to test (objectively) that is endeavor 6

scrutinize entice discipline: - assay examine go about to prove.

    ( Matthew 4:1-11)

Verse 1 says it was the Spirit which led Jesus up into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

What is Important to note in this section is that the DEVIL WASN'T BEING USED TO TEST TO SEE IF JESUS WAS THE SON OF GOD. HE KNEW JESUS WAS THE SON OF GOD!

In verse 3 where it says "if thou be the Son of God"

It should read "And when the tempter came to him, he said, "SINCE" thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Again, It was the Spirit that led Jesus into the wilderness to EXHIBIT this truth that was declared in Matthew 3:17.

That's my understanding on Christ being tempted.

Also; There is nowhere in scripture that says Christ had a inherited sin nature. .

    I don't hold the view that Adam was created "Without" a sin nature. Adam was made a living soul;

Christ was made a Life giving spirit. Neither had to become that or hold on to it. Adam sinned and it proved he had that in him.

    Christ proved he didn't.

HERE'S HOW THEY CONTRAST; "Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

    1 Corinthians 15:46-47.

Christ was ordained to be the Lamb that takes away the sins of the whole world before the world began! He didn't have to qualify.

    God bless.

    Matthew (Part 4):

Matthew 4:3 - And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Satan starts off by saying, "If" thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But there is a huge difference between saying "if" or saying "since." It would be like saying "if you are available Thursday night for a bible study," or saying, "since you are available for a bible study." Big difference!

I'll share with you a little technical information. The word "if" in the Greek text is what is called the first-class condition assumed to be true. It can and should be translated "since." Please take note that the devil, in tempting Jesus, was not tempting Him to prove that He was the Son of God. Satan is saying since you are the Son of God, then do this. Misuse your authority. Misuse your position. Be disobedient to your heavenly Father. But please take note that Satan is not asking Jesus to prove Himself to be the Son of God, but actually questioning Him, baiting Him to disobey the commandments of God.

Matthew 4:21 - And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

Now I want to share something interesting about the word mending. The word mending is the Greek word KATARTIDZO, and that is what this word means. It means "to mend." It is actually a medical term that means the mending of broken bones or the mending of the net. KATARTIDZO is the same word used by Paul in Ephesians Chapter 2 when he talked about the equipping of the saints, KATARTIDZO. Equipping does not mean that someone trains you how to go out and share the gospel. That is not what it means.

God's ministry is to mend us. His ministry is to mend the saints so that they will be functional members in the body of Christ. That is basically what this Paul is talking about, KATARTIDZO, the mending of the saints.

    Adam

First I must say that questions as such"why God kills or asks others to kill, despite "do not kill",are made by many atheists that were members of the SDA,but now turned demonic atheists.

They well know the letter of the Bible and now use it in their demonic posts to deny GOD and to contradict His Word.In fact they are killers, killers of souls.

They know that when GOD said to the people of Israel through Moses," do not kill", it had already passed around 2500 years(two days and half of GOD's work),and the commandment was exclusively for the people of GOD,Israel. It was given in the OT, not in the NT,very different of the OT. See, GOD was creating a new environment for His seed, descendants of Abraham, when He brought His people out of Egypt. GOD separated His people Israel from the midst of the Gentilic peoples, from the midst of the idolaters and murderers peoples, actually He divided waters from the waters- Genesis 1:6-10-and then appeared the dry land-Israel.

Now see, around 2500 years before GOD's commandment Cain had killed Abel.Who commanded Cain do it?It was not GOD,so who? It was the father of Cain, the Devil,a former Cherub, former ruler of Eden, also father of the current atheists and false Christianity and others adherents of devilish religions.

In the other hand, after GOD brought Israel from Egypt and placed the people in the Promised Land, there GOD established the Law and rules to discipline the people and free them from all the SATANIC influence they carried with them from the Gentile, specially from the Egyptians and their satanic idolatries.Desobedience, i.e. witchcraft,it would be punished in the Promised Land, even to the death penalty(Compare: Luke 12:4 and Deuteronomy 32:39.By the way,GOD IS GOD).

This battle started when the Cherub which GOD have placed as a ruler of Eden(now called SON OF PERDITION and MAN OF SIN,the Devil and Satan)planned to USURP GOD's creation and to create a specific world for he himself- Matthew 4:8-9.

    GiGi,

    Part 3 Trinity discussion,

Do you believe the Son is a created being?

What is the meaning of created? Does it mean something that is made out of nothing? I would have to say no, Jesus is the Son of God who was conceived in the womb of Mary, Matthew 1:20 Luke 1:35, I do not think I would say He was created.

If so, when did He come into existence?

In God's plan before anything and physically when He was conceived in Mary's womb.

Do you believe that the Son is only human in nature?

Jesus is the Son of God fully human but without sin same as the first Adam, Scripture is clear when Jesus was baptized, He was anointed with the Holy Ghost/Spirit without measure, John 3:34. All the works of Jesus were done by the Spirit of God, Matthew 4:16 Matthew 12:28 Acts 10:38.

Do you believe that Jesus became "the Christ" during His lifetime (Adoptionism)?

I had never heard of Adoptionism until now, I had to look it up, it's false. Christ and Messiah are the same; Jesus was anointed by the Spirit of God after He was baptized by John, He then was made the Messiah/Christ fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel 9:25. Jesus is the Son of God conceived in the womb of Mary by the Holy Ghost/Spirit.

Do you believe Jesus ever aquired a divine nature in His earthly life?

If you mean a divine nature is to have all the attributes that make God who He is I would have to say no. If so, Jesus could not sin or be tempted, Matthew 4:1 Hebrews 4:15. If so, Jesus living a perfect life without sin is meaningless. Jesus could not have died; Jesus was given the power of the Holy Spirit when He was anointed the Messiah. After He rose from the dead God gave Jesus all power in heaven and on earth, Matthew 28:18. God raised and placed Jesus on His right side, Ephesians 1:21-23. Jesus did not return to where He was before, God the Father placed everything under Jesus God's only begotten Son's feet and Jesus will reign until the last enemy is destroyed, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28.

It seems you have the Bible only in your hands, but have not the Word of GOD in heart. This explain why you believe in esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritists,AND FICTITIOUS names of God, which Satan stealthy introduced in the OT, in Torah,Jewish Scriptures-Tanack,as if were names of the true GOD,but are fictitious NAMES from your heart are JEHOVAH,YAHWEH,YHWH,ADONAI,EL SHADAI,HaSHEM.Terrible.

The words that proceede from your heart is from a human perspective,a stumblingblock-Genesis3:1-not from GOD's perspective- Matthew 16:23.Your testimony of GOD's Word signifies nothing and is good for nothing. In fact, what I reply here is because of the readers, not you. What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD,the Word is GOD Himself- John 1:1 combined with 1John 5:7,and around 2000 years ago He,even GOD Himself, was made flesh and introduced Himself among men by the NAME of JESUS- Matthew 1:21-understand?Isaiah had prophesied, saying:"The Lord Himself shall give you a sign;Behold,a VIRGIN shall conceive, and bear a SON,and shall call His name Immanuel-Is.7:14-(it means: GOD with us).

These Truth torment your esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist spirit,GOD CURSED the Devil, the tree of good and evil, the figtree. JESUS,In His Ministry, said to the Devil:Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY Word that proceedeth out of the MOUTH of GOD- Matthew 4:4. The Word is GOD, the Word is GOD Himself, and the Word of the MOUTH of GOD is LITERALLY written in 66 books, KING JAMES VERSION is an edition of the book of the Lord, it is called Bible.

Oh no, my Lord JESUS never accused anyone, as you said, also my Lord JESUS NEVER USED the NAMES of Satan you have listed here, these are more false testimonies of you of JESUS's Person, it's the spirit of you is acusing JESUS,he is the Accuser, he has blinded your eyes, your own devilish words leave clear you know not my Lord JESUS.

If the supposed"glorious name Yahweh,as you say"is in your heart, it means the Devil is in your heart.

    Christ was given the Kingdom

God the Father granted Christ all authority on heaven and earth which sets forth the ultimate example of how God worked to reward the perfect obedience of Christ. It also goes against Satan's offer to worship him to have such authority. ( Matthew 28:18; Matthew 4:9).

One may question how Christ; who Himself brought all of creation into existence would have such a destiny. ( Colossians 1:16-20). In that situation; one may say that He was the Person to do the work that the Father had planned; and His agent as it were was the Spirit of God (hovering over the waters as it states in Genesis 1:2).

We realize in this that no servant is greater than his master. ( John 15:20). We all are nothing without Him; yet He will likewise exalt the humble with positions to rule and reign with Christ in the Millennium. In some sense we can say that Christ emptied Himself so that He could be our High Priest suffering in all ways but without sin. ( Heb. 4:15). As the second Adam He was able to keep from the temptations of the devil to fall unlike Adam; as well as fulfilling the law perfectly which no man could do. ( 1 Cor. 15:45-47).

It is hard to get our mind around these facts; that He who created all things would start from conception as a helpless babe and end as a sheep to the slaughter ( Isaiah 53:7); the Lamb of God which will forever be ascribed to His Name. Of course all of us who are saved are adopted sons; ( Ephesians 1:5) part of the eternal lineage of the rightous (as contrasted with the earth dwellers in Revelation 11:10).

Christ is returning as conquering king. He alone trods the winepress ( Isaiah 63:3). He alone brings forth the TRUE one world government of peace and rules in righteousness; impartially judging as many verses in Isaiah testify. Some verses can be taken symbolically but to not take Revelation 19 literally or somehow think Christ already returned in some mystical way is heretical thinking (see 2 Tim. 2:18)

    F Major,

The bible states we certainly each get to choose. It's called freewill, that He gave each of us. So yes, God gives each person the chance to believe and accept Salvation! Jesus commanded the Gospel of the Kingdom to be preached throughout the world. When we hear The Gospel of Jesus Christ we get to choose! We can each choose to accept it - or reject it.

If we reject, nothing else is required for us to do, but to live our life in continual sin. If we believe and accept, then we must repent. We must then take all of the actions as commanded by Jesus/God.

Many people today that call themselves Christians, want their salvation without repenting! Matthew 4:17"From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Luke 5:32"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

We must REPENT (stop sinning) if we want to be saved, and grafted into Christs Church (olive tree). If we expect to remain grafted into Christ's Church, each of us must REPENT and produce good fruit (good works) or we will be pruned/removed from the tree, as many of the Jews were already removed, because they did NOT believe, nor did they produce good fruit!

The bible tells us that our actions while living in this current life will determine our ultimate fate, Heaven or Hell, so its certainly OUR choice my friend.

    Read and Believe!
