It reminds how I used to interrupt someone and quick at making comments/judgment based on what I know which is usually either hearsays or biased opinion without hearing the other person finish what is being said. Now I realize even after actively hearing and listening to the person speak with empathy, I ask permission first if the other person wants to hear my opinion. I also learned how not to assume anything about what others say or do regardless whether or not I heard the facts of a story because it is almost like passing a judgment and playing God.

If youre interested in what proverbs has to offer in terms of anger management, I am curating a list of the pertinent ones, this is a work in progress so there may be many more, I hope in Jesus name this helps:

Proverbs 14:17 He that issoon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.

I think the word you wrote is misspelled.

The Bible has much to say about fools. The word fool today usually means "a senseless fellow, a bad character. The biblical definition has the added dimension of "someone who disregards God's Word."

The Bible lists many characteristics of such a person, often contrasting him with one who is wise. Ecclesiastes 10:2 says, "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the FOOL to the left."

A fool is one whose wayward heart turns continually toward foolishness. "Fools speak foolishness and make evil plans" ( Isaiah 32:6).

Proverbs 26:11 says, "As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly."

Fools do not learn their lessons from the mistakes they make. They continue doing the same foolish things over and over again, to their own destruction ( Proverbs 18:7).

The following is a partial list of some characteristics of a fool from the BOOK OF

PROVERBS:

A fool hates knowledge (1:22)

Takes no pleasure in understanding (18:2)

Enjoys wicked schemes ( Proverbs 10:23)

Proclaims folly ( Proverbs 12:23)

Spurns a parent's discipline (15:5)

Speaks perversity (19:1), is quick-tempered (12:16), gets himself in trouble with his proud speech (14:3) mocks at sin (14:9), is deceitful (14:8)

Despises his mother (15:20). A foolish child brings grief to his or her parents (17:25; 19:13)

A foolish man commits sexual immorality (6:32; 7:7-12)

A foolish woman tears down her own house (14:1).

(The worst of all). Psalm 14:1

The fool hath said in his heart, THERE IS NO GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works; there is none that does good.

Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single and I truly desire to be married. I am worried that I will never get married and that concerns me because I don't like being single at all. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me find a wife. I truly desire a marriage that is blessed by God and I need God's mercy and help with finding the right Christian lady to marry. Proverbs 18:22 says that he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. The Lord tells us to Fear Not; so fear erodes our faith. Stand in faith and trust in God.

Please pray for me. I struggle a lot with being single. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me find a wife. I need God's mercy and help with finding the lady who the Lord wants to be my wife and helpmeet. Please pray that Jesus Christ will show me mercy and let me get married. Hello Tina, I have taken an online course in Theology and got my BA Degree in such so I may also teach the Bible Scriptures to the children and teenagers in my community. I have a 28 year old daughter in another state, whom I use to teach a Bible study with, but God has other plans for as well, as soon as the opportunity comes for me to teach scriptures to others. I believe as you mentioned: "I wish we could remove the false traditions of men that Satan keeps us separate and fearful of one another" that we can stand strong in teaching the Word of God to those who have never had a chance to read the Bible or have never heard God's Word before. The KJV seems the most well translated where the other translations put a negative connotation on having many friends. If it were a time or place where we were so blessed to be around many Christian hearted people dedicated to loving God above the things of this earth then that time and place of friends to share life in a community, a larger group that works together and supports one another all trying to love one another more than oneself would be like heaven. And surely within a community of friends there are those that grow close filled with admiration for one another and sheer enjoyment of the other persons kindness in your life that you then also would give freely of your life to make theirs better also sharing the companionship of loving God together between families if at that point, serving the community together for God and always just having that one, or two or three people there that rejoice equally in each other's happiness and gifts shared to make life better as seems easy and without much work. Sharing common desire of direction of life to seek he after the Lord th God and follow where God leads is an exciting prospect of the Holy Spirit and promise of the future in Heaven thst one day we won't just have one we are lucky to have here on earth but that we look forward to many understanding we are truly family under God as his children and meant to enjoy living, life serving all under God. I wish we truly could remove the false traditions of men that Satan planted to keep us separated and fearful of one another. i truly believe this proverb a mouth speaks what the heart is full of . If a person has good tongue he will be having good relations with others in his life, but other side it can destroy the healthy person health by poor mouth. so speak good and be a good fruit of life .. amen

Good question. I think that a man who finds or has a good wife is satisfying God's desire for man to have companionship. Thus, finding favor when he does find a good wife.

Blessed be the Lord, who makes us welcome to come to his throne, without money and without price. May his gifts make room for him in our souls.

This scripture has the same meaning with this one Luke 16:9. "And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations."

I do not understand proverbs18 verse16

Proverbs 18:21 relates to James 3:16 as it describes the tongue as fire. It either brings healing or destruction. Its the smallest part of the body but can be reckless if its not controlled by the unction of the holyspirit. The fruit of your lips should honor and bless the lord at all times and his praise shall continually be in your mouth...!

Compare verse 7b with "The name od the LORD is a strong tower, the righteous runs into it and is safe." Proverbs 18:10 .

Finding a Wife May be a Little Hard. She Needs to be a Homemaker,Helps in The Church. Reads The Bible and Praying Daily. Watching Over Her Husband. The Husband Needs to do The Same for Her and More, Providing All Her Needs,Lifting Her Higher Then Himself, Lovin Her Like Christ Loved The Church. They Will Gladly Do for Each Other. Lifting One Another Higher. He Found a Wife.

I do t understand verse 18 22

V:13 He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him. AMEN!

Verse 13 shows the important of making sure we have all the facts before we reply or react to a situation.

So many scriptures refer to the desire. There are several ways of looking at this. Desire can be viewed as an object of ones affection or as an obstacle in reaching ones fulfillment. Too often the pleasures which are associated with desire are connected with the pain that a person may be experiencing.

I believe that what we say comes from our hearts. It's a heart matter! That may not be a good thing. It's time to clean out some of old stuff that keeps us drom speaking the right things!

I believe your question is sincere! The world were framed by the words of God. What we say can have a constructive or destructive results. There is nothing wrong in writing, you just have to make sure your narrative reflect a positive result. Always let God lead you in everything you do. Powerful Wisdom

2 kings 13:21, wow!! elisha's dead bones revives a dead man's body back to life just through contact, God's power is always alive in our lives ( ephesians 3:20) all the time not only to provide solutions to our own lives when in need but also for others as well, our confession and tith/offering is a form of contact with GOD ( proverbs 18:21

V. 24 - " ... and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a 'brother'." I highlighted brother because - it just occurred to me brother could also very well mean brother in the church; not just blood brother.

'Jesus' is all through the O.T. The whole of the O.T. is all about Jesus. Luke 24:44, Jn. 20:28 - Thomas was a DEVOUT Jew. NO Jew will call anyone 'Lord' and 'God' except He is that. Deut.6:4 - Hear O Israel, the Lord your God is one Lord," (Shema). Nor did Jesus, being a DEVOUT Jew, rebuke Thomas. The name Jehovah translates to Jesus.

"Jehovah's" name is a source of protection. That's why it's critical to know this name. Yet Sadly, even with the KJ that name is obscured by TITLES such as LORD. It's capitalized and italicized so we know that the translator understood the omission of the Divine Name.

Vs. 1 Whoever isolates himself pursues his own selfish desires; He rejects all practical wisdom.

Jehovah God made us to be gregarious people. It is not good for us to isolate ourselves or think we can do everything on our own. God has made a congregation to help us and provide comfort as well as himself. Let us always fellowship with God and our brothers at our christian meetings.

This verse reminds me of the apostle Paul's exhortation to the early church in Romans 8:31 b 'If God be for us, who can be against us' The great picture of the tower reminded me of the strength of our Protector and Saviour. Thank you for your discussion of this verse. I found it a real blessing.
