Anyone remember that old school song Friends? Wonder if this scripture inspired them?? Anyways, I like the point of how true it is that a friend can be more reliant that even family ties! People who are suppose to be there for you, blood, may not be as loving a friend!!! The internal thing put within humans that allows us to make relationships bond with another person is really amazing.

Proverbs 18 10 gives me peace of mind to know that when all my troubles come knocking, I know I have Jesus who is my strong tower, he will always be there for me to hold to, to lean on. My rock my father.

It is my first conscious encounter with this Word! It is affixed to my heart now! In the Name of Jesus the Christ, our Lord! A safe place to be, with my God!

honestly, without Jesus Christ we are nothing, because it is the coming of jesus that makes our life meaningful

The Lord has never lied. My wife and I, after twenty seven years are still very much I love. As I often tell my wife "God gave me everything when he gave me you ". I wish more couples could experience the love and compassion we have for each other. Thank you Lord!

To I will overcome Proverb 's chapter 18 verse 14 comment of 8 31 2014 I believe many people have gone through this kind of experience in the church, including me. I know how it hurts and even if you pray and forgive the person who caused this, still every now and then, the pain and bitterness comes back... Of course I will pray for you. But I would advise, you to pray and fast one day, and under the guidance of the HS , make an appointment with your first pastor an tell him how you feel about the whole matter. After all you have been 20 years in that Church,and he has to explain to you where things went wrong. He knows you better than the other two pastors, who have only heard accusations from your first pastor. YES, I would start from the first one. Don 't give up until you solve this and pray for the pastor too.Remember, you are a servant of Jesus and not of peole.Jesus resurection freed us from sins and ailments and us free from bonds. I need intercessors to pray for me. I have been hurt by not one but three church leaders in the last few years. The first one has contacted the next two with false accusations against me and even though I have tried to find a church I can be a part of, I am seeing that short of a miracle I will not. I thought I was the "only one " this has happened to but have seen similar testimonies and can 't believe the way leaders are sometimes treating the sheep in their congregations. First of all, the two have never spoken directly with me to get to the truth but assumed this first pastor can do no wrong and instead of having a meeting with the two of us, decided to believe him without giving me a chance to say anything. Today is Sunday and I am without a church home because of this. I attended the first church faithfully for over two decades now I feel forgotten. There is pain in my heart that is intensified because it involves pastors yes they are human, but shouldn 't they be an example to us, not a stumbling block. Anyway, Prov. 18 14 about a wounded spirit is where I am right now. I forgive them and then a few days later, the pain wells up again and I have to speak forgiveness all over again. I am very weary now of christian leaders as I hear more and more about how they seem to be lording their authority over us. The bible is very clear on this issue. But I 'm still hurting.

There is a lot of things that help me in proverbs when I start reading it it s hard to stop I only wish that could study the word more

the lord name is unlocking key to every thing wether good or bad.

(Through desire)means- through wanting something very much or willing to do something. (A man having separated himself) means- separated himself from the things or influence of the world. This is the meaning of the word Holiness, when the Bible say's God is Holy it is saying He is Separate. The wisdom of the world is not God's Wisdom and to find the wisdom of God one must turn his back on worldly things and worldly wisdom to actually be able to see Godly Wisdom.(Seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom)means- desparately searching and looking to find wisdom, to intermingle with its knowledge. How could bible schollers have missed this. I think maybe they revere man's wisdom as more valuable than True Wisdom which comes from God, instead of the world.

God has given us a wonderful treasure that's our mouth. Then those that knows the value always benefit from its products.
